Unnatural Love

Author's Note: Wow! Almost 500 hits. I'm guessing that means its good? I'm suffering a small writer's block, so I can't promise much in this chapter. Thanks for reading!

 

Chapter Three:

'You need to tell Leia.'

'No, you don't. She won't find out.'

'Yes she will. Tell her.'

'No! How am I supposed to tell her that? She may never talk to me again.'

'She might, she might not. But you still need to tell her.' Luke sighed and opened his eyes.

'There is no way I can meditate right now', he thought.

Leia.....thinking about her brought a smile to his face. The girl he had helped rescue 8 years ago. The girl who had befriended him, made him feel wanted and loved for the first time in his life. Who had inadvertently helped heal the wounds his abusive uncle had left. The woman he had fallen in love with over the years. He hadn't realized how much he loved her, until 4 years earlier. He had been scared to ask her out that first time, but elated when she had said yes.

'What would it have felt like when I asked her to marry me?' Staring out at the trees, Luke unconsciously wiped a tear from his face.

'I guess I'll never know', he sadly thought.

'Force, I hate him!' Luke yelled inwardly. 'After everything else, and now this. Why does it have to be like this?' Luke didn't hate many people in his life, but the one he hated more than anyone else, the one person who he absolutely could not abide, was Darth Vader.

'You will pay Vader. I promise you that. One day, somehow, someway, you will pay.'
