"The one thing about a story is that you dream it as you tell it, hoping others might then dream along with you..."
Are you guys dreaming along with me?

“Mommy! Mommy! Look what I found,” Teodor exclaimed with glee.
Hephaistion smiled. Teodor’s first words were, “mommy.” (Much to Olympias’ dismay, she wanted his first word to be nana, not mommy.) Hephaistion loved Teodor with all his heart, just as he loved Alexander. He often wondered when Alexander would come back, yet he didn’t want him to come back. Alexander lost two children and he did not want to see the look on his face when Olympias or himself had to bear the bad news. He himself couldn’t bear to tell him, he couldn’t even imagine telling him. He would also wonder how Teodor would react to seeing Alexander. It has been almost three years now since the day he left, Teodor would soon turn four, would he welcome Alexander with open arms?
“What did you find Teodor,” Hephaistion asked in a gentle tone and with a warm smile.
Teodor smiled as he held the object behind his back, “A flower for you mommy, just for you!”
Hephaistion kissed Teodor’s forehead and gladly accepted the flower from his son, “Thank you, its lovely.”
“Your welcome mommy,” Teodor smiled brightly.
Hephaistion held out his hand, “Now come Teodor, time to wash up.”
“Noooo! I want to stay here and play,” Teodor wailed.
Hephaistion kneeled in front of his son, “Teodor, the sun is setting. Apollo is taking his horses to rest for the night, just as you need to rest for the night.”
Teodor’s sulky face soon turned to one of a smile, “Okay mommy, I am hungry.”
Hephaistion smiled, “Once I get you washed up, we’ll find something to eat.”
They walked hand in hand back into the palace.

Olympias opened the letter sent to her by Alexander.
Mother,
I am coming home. I cannot wait to see my newborn child. I miss Hephaistion and Teodor terribly as well and cannot wait to see their lovely faces.
I expect everything to be well.
Be expecting my arrival.
Alexander
Olympias folded up the letter and placed it onto the end table by her bed. She would have much explaining to do and wasn’t looking forward to Alexander’s arrival at all. However, she did keep Hephaistion at bay and was glad that there were no sudden spurts of hatred for her, no threatening with broken bottles, nothing of the sort. If only she knew the exact date of his arrival, then she could make a potion for Hephaistion that would make him horny as Dionysus when drunk. That would distract Alexander for quite sometime. However, she knew that she must tell him the moment he stepped foot onto the palace grounds.
If only things were simple.
