Bathe Me

He bathed me, washed me down with his soap, determined to get every inch of me clean. Taking a shower with Druex, was an interesting experience. “I feel like I should be self-conscious about being naked with you.” I said, the water making my skin slide over his with a silken slickness. He just smiled and bent his head to lick the water off my throat. “Are you?”
“No.”
“But you’re trying to talk yourself into it?” He said and started to shampoo my hair, with…my flavor of shampoo. “No, just observing that I don’t feel shy to be taking a shower with you. How’d you know what kind of shampoo I like?” He grinned and tilted my head back. “Close your eyes.” I did, leaning into him to keep my balance. And to feel the hardness of his body pressing between us. “When I came to see you, you brought me the quilt off your bed so I wouldn’t be cold.”

I risked it and opened one eye at the smile in his tone. Just to make sure he wasn’t teasing me. “It was like twenty below.” I said defensively and he kissed my nose. “Yes it was. I spent all night smelling you. The scent of your skin,” His voice was hypnotic, low with desire. His hands lifted the heavy mass of my hair off my neck, letting the water sluice the shampoo out in sudsy waves. “The perfume you use, the chamomile tea you dripped, the bits of chocolate you nibbled on when you had your period last month.”

I laughed at him and scooped the water back from my face so I could safely open my eyes. “You’re a hound, not a wolf.” He gave me a look from under his lashes that curled my toes and we switched places so he could wash himself. I wanted to do it, but he shook his head. I watched him lather his gorgeous body, not feeling the chill of the cooler air hitting my wet skin. At all.

His hands trailed over his chest, spreading white suds, down over his flat stomach and tight abs. Back up to do his arms and everywhere his hands went my eyes followed. “It was an interesting night, getting to know the many lovely facets of your scent so intimately.” He put a hint of emphasis on, intimately, the word curling around me like a rope of lust, tugging at my stomach.

He spread those suds down his sides, his hips, lower, between his legs to soap himself.
I licked my lips, my heart thundering as I watched him, stroking the soap over the flushed length until he was slick and thick with bubbles. He really was a blonde. Well. I realized we’d not said anything for a while, that he was watching me, watching him, his movements slow and definitely for my benefit. “So how um…I…” Man, there you go Cherish, show the man you have a brain. “My shampoo, how‘d you get it?” I asked and his grin was delectably wicked. “I bought it.” I glared at him, my face probably as red as my BMW.

He chuckled and stepped back to rinse. “Obviously.” I drawled and stepped out to get a towel. But he pulled me right back under the water and drew me up on my toes for a kiss. “Ask Dax how silly I looked, in the Pharmacy, sniffing the different bottles of shampoo until I found the one you used. I was high by the time I left.” He turned the water off and wrapped me up in a big bath sheet, the kind that covered me from armpits to toes, pooling around me with fabric to spare.

It was an amethyst color. His bath sheet was blue, I guess when you were six feet three, and broadly muscled you wanted a towel that would do it‘s job right. “And you picked me out my own towel?” I said, trying not to smile to stupidly. He shrugged and used a smaller towel to scrub the moisture from his hair. I had a purple one of those to. “I wanted you to be comfortable when you stayed here.” My stupid smile got a bit less stupid and more misty. I stretched up on my toes and brushed my lips gently over his. “Thank you.”
He gripped the back of my neck and pressed my mouth to his harder, a firm, hungry kiss. “You’re welcome.”

He offered me the use of his blow dryer, but I just smiled at him, tucked my towel more securely together, pulled the wet mass of curls over my shoulder and put my palms flat on either side of my head, drawing out the water to form a shimmering ball. “No need. Thanks.” I tossed the ball of water into the shower, where it exploded with a splash. “Want me to do you?” His lips curled and I felt the echo of his beast pass over me. “Sure.”
Heat fused up from my toes but I stepped up to him boldly and drew the water out of his hair. “You buy me a toothbrush too?” He nodded. “But your mom packed you an overnight bag.” I tossed the water ball I’d made into the tub and followed the point of his finger.

My red leather satchel lay on a chair and I had a pair of pajamas, a change of clothes for tomorrow, toothbrush, hairbrush, deodorant, socks, shoes, condoms, underwear, mini make up kit, just in case, wait, condoms! “Mother!” I hissed and shoved them deeply into the bag. “Cherish?” Druex called, my name a bit muffled due to the fact he had his own toothbrush in his mouth. “Nothing. My mother just packed me some really skimpy panties.” I held up the red lacy thong and he waggled his brows. “I like em.” I snorted and tossed them back in the bag. “You would.”

I figured, from the way he was looking at me, pajamas were going to be pointless. So I left them on the chair and came back with my toothbrush. And while I was brushing my teeth, I realized that I’d been stupid. I rinsed out my mouth and stood up, to have Druex brush my hair to the side and kiss my throat. “What’s the matter?” I leaned my head to the side and found his eyes in the mirror. “We didn’t…I’m…” God you’d think how much I was blushing I’d pass out. “Not on birth control? I know. You‘re not ovulating.” I blinked a few times. “Say again?” He gave me a sheepishly adorable smile. “Another one of those things I can smell.”
“You can…smell, when I’m ovulating.” I said slowly and he nuzzled my neck. “Genetics of being a male and a wolf. Have to if we want to know the right times to either avoid a pregnancy or not.” He grinned. “But it’s a good thing your mom made sure to pack you a fully stocked overnight bag.”
