I do not own the movie(s) that this fanfiction is written for, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
The bit that comes next
A/N – Well there we go – I believe the first Potc/Will&Grace xover written. Don’t know why there aren’t more of them. It was sappier and less smut-filled than I had anticipated, and over too quickly. Terribly sorry if it doesn’t live up to the smut requirements of any readers, but I think I like it that way, & I’m not going to change it now anyway. It’s in the spirit of the film, which of course only has one kiss the entire movie. I just would have liked to see that kiss happen between people who actually have chemistry, so the all-powerful fanfic writer here made it happen. For those who are interested in what comes next, I’m not writing that either, but I’ll give a brief overview. Imagine this as the little bit before the credits, where it freezes on each character and tells you that they got what they deserved, or didn’t, depending on what kind of movie it is. In the potc ‘verse, Jack & Will have a smut filled night, then head down to the docks, & set sail with Gibbs, Anamaria and the rest of the crew. After several smut-filled nights and days, they find the Isla de Muerta, and since Will knows that Jack isn’t going to abandon him, he doesn’t hit Jack over the head with an oar, and they rescue Elizabeth together. They wait till Elizabeth has been knocked down the mound of gold, take the medallian, Will cuts his hand and they sneak up the hill. Jack sneaks up on Barbosa and grabs him, holding the gun to his head. Will drops the medallion into the chest at the same time, they back away holding Barbosa between them and the pirates. They get in the rowboat (having already ditched all the other oars) with Elizabeth, with Jack’s gun trained on Barbosa. Gives a nice speech with lots of closure, which includes Jack mockingly saying that he was sure one of Barbosa’s loyal men will provide him the one shot needed, or possibly some horrible pun about can’t eat gold. They then row out to the Pearl, which the crew of the Interceptor has already overpowered. Jack gives the Interceptor to Anamaria, and Gibbs decides to be her first mate, since Will is now Jack’s (in more ways than one :P). The crew splits, so each ship has a bare crew. Will is very glad that Elizabeth is alright, they exchange stories, Elizabeth is a bit disappointed, but glad that Will is happy, and she did know that they wouldn’t really work. They sail back towards Port Royal, meeting up with the Dauntless. Jack, Will and Elizabeth board, and the Governor and Commodore look very relieved to see her. Jack tells Norrington that Barbosa sank the Interceptor in a sea battle before they commandeered the Pearl. The Governor is so grateful to have his daughter back alive that, at her urging, he writes Jack a full letter of clemency, which he comes to regret as Jack later uses it to get up to much mischief in Port Royal under everyone’s noses, with Will rolling his eyes and fighting by his side all the way. Elizabeth returns to Port Royal, and marries Norrington, but occasionally sneaks off to rendezvous with Jack and Will. Any time Port Royal is threatened by pirates or the Spanish, she enlists the aid of the Pearl and the Interceptor, keeping Port Royal safe and allowing the Pearl and the Interceptor to pirate with almost impunity, much to the chagrin of Norrington, though he is forced to admit that is a much more effective system than before. And though Jack loves pirating too much to ever retire, it’s now more of a hobby as he has more gold than he could use – even if were to employ thousands of inventors to try to build an in-built monitoring system in his rum rooms. He returned to the Isla de Muerta some time after all the no-longer-undead-pirates ran out of apples. Anamaria also made quite a few trips to and fro, and she and Jack bicker whenever they meet about how much she really took. And of course, Jack and Will lived smutly ever after, as did the other Jack and Will. However, I don’t think they need a summary. That and it’s just not my fandom – I thought doing a xover would be interesting, but I’m not obsessed enough with them to write Will & Grace fanfic. And I hope it wasn’t too obvious, but I’m not really a Will/Jack shipper, I really think they need to see other people – all on the show are much too co-dependent. And it wouldn’t be very entertaining if they were too busy shagging to bitch at each other. Anyway, hope people liked it, I would love to hear some reviews on how I write, as long as people have something to say other than – you’re so sad, it was an innocent Disney film, and now you have warped my fragile little mind, and of course comments on how these two particular fandoms were never meant to meet – I know that already.
