Trapped in a Pyramid

The creature let out a pitiful roar as it continued to walk along the frozen ground of this hellhole it had been placed in. It had finally escaped from the evil 'predators' breeding contraption but had lost all of her hoard when the Predator's arm-strapped bomb went off in the middle of the pyramid. Now the creature had burns along its flanks not to mention the additional wounds that it receieved from being released from the Predator contraption.Acidic blood trickled onto the ground as the creature trashed it's long spiked tail kncoking over several useless human gadgets and leto out another roar of frustration.

Scar opened his eyes and clicked his upper right mandible as he concentrated in deep thought. He had been awakened by what sounded like the Alien Queen, but he hadn't heard anything since. There was movement as the human female next to him snuggled closer in a deep peaceful sleep. The predator was glad she hadn't awakened like he had from the noise.

The Predator got up and put on what armour he had left and looked at the female who was still asleep in the pile of 'human' equipment. Scar just wanted the mothership to return and he could discuss his position with the elders on board.

This was not suppose to happen like this, he and the other predators were suppose to go up against the aliens but they would of had an advantage if the humans hadn't taken their weapons. But, the humans had and his four comrades were dead along with all the humans except for the human who was sleeping on the ground.

Out of anger the Predator nudged the human female with his boot which woke up Lex with a start. She sat up quickly and realizing where she was covered herself immediately with the 'wooly' coat. Lex did not look at the Predator who stood before her and continued to look at the floor until she had dressed herself in her survival gear and prepared to step out of the cave.

As Lex had dressed herself Scar looked at her very closely. She was strong physically and mentally at times and she wasn't half bad looking for another species. Lex looked at the Predator and headed for the entrance to the cave when both creatures hear a scream of rage and the roof of the cave shake. Then the Alien Queen appeared at the entrance of the cave and let out another screech of rage and charged the two creatures.

Scar pushed Lex out of the way and swiped at the creature with his wrist blades slicing deep cuts into the Alien's hide. Lex scrambled out of the way as the Queen's tail smashed against the wall of the cave with big cracks forming at the base of the wall.

Scar continued to do battle with the Queen who snapped at him with her jaws and everytime he cut it, it's acidic blood would burn his grayish, reptilian skin and he would have to back off. Lex grabbed a ice pick that she had from her backpack from the descent into the pyramid and stabbed at the Alien's hide which resulted in deep punture wounds and the Queen screaming in agony.

The Queen thrashed her tail again catching Scar offguard and knocking him near the entrance. Lex then dodged and ducked the Queen's tail and was next to Scar trying to help him up as the Queen was busy trying to dislodge herself from the wall of ice in the cave. Lex noticing that the cave had many fracture cracks in it was about to collapse at any moment helped the Predator along and was almost at the entrance when ice began to fall behind them slamming into the still screaming Queen.

Lex continued her effort to the entrance and the Predator was just being 'dead weight' but somehow they tumbled out of the cave just at it totally collapsed behind them. Snow and ice rose up from the area that had been a cave and covered both the Predator and Lex.

Lex immediately got up even though she felt a pain in her side and began calling out to the Predator. As she continued to stumble through the snow she tripped and fell and cried out as pain began to become evident on her face. Tears began to trickle down her face as she began to black out, she didn't want to die, and as she was fading out of consciousness, arms wrapped around and lifted her up like she was a kitten . . .
