Softly Spoken Words

AN: As always, I dont own anything. I just keep him tied to anything I can find.

Chapter 5

My Dearest Jareth,
My condolences to you and your soon to be queen. But, I am afraid I
must confess that you choosing a mortal seems to be... most unlike you. I
am leaving the East as you read to come and speak with you. I should be
arriving in a matter of minutes.
Sincerely Yours,
Micheal

“When did you receive this letter?” Jareth asked the goblin attempting to keep up.

“About an half an hour ago, m’lord.”

Jareth burst into the kitchen and got out a glass. Holding the glass steady, he conjured
up a crystal and poured out a fine line of wine into it. *Who does he think he is?
Coming into MY kingdom when ever he feels he must.*

Jareth turned to head for the bedroom to prepare Sarah when he heard another scream
and a loud thud.

“Sarah?” Jareth looked around the room to find her pinned to the wall by a tall figure.

“Who is this Jareth?” she asked softly.

“My brother, Michael.”

Slowly the figure turned to face Jareth and with a smiling face replied, “So nice to see
you again, my brother.”

Jareth walked to him and hugged him. “Come my brother, shall we talk?”

With that Jareth bowed to Micheal and let him walk out of the room first. Jareth
glowered at Sarah and then called over a goblin.

“See to it that she’s taken care of.”

The goblin nodded and took Sarah’s hand. Sarah stared into nothing as she looked
over the fast happenings.

She was waiting for Jareth to return so she could give him a piece of her mind. She
wanted answers and she wanted them now. She had the right to know why he had
come to get her. She had the right to know what he wanted with her. She wanted to
know if he loved her! So when the figure had appeared in the room, she seductively
stalked up to him.

“Now you listen here, Mr. Big shot. I told you,” she pulled her hand down his back and
through his hair, wrapping her hands in it and pulling his head back so she could nibble
on his ear,” that I wanted answers.” She slowly licked his earlobe and moaned softly.

“Well, I would tell you but, I dont know. I came to get some answers myself.” The dark
tone in the mans voice scared Sarah and she quickly pulled away.

“Who are you?”

“I, my little mortal hot piece of ass, am your worst nightmare.” He grinned evilly and
pinned her to the wall.

He looked almost like Jareth, but darker. His green eyes flashed with desire. His dark hair cascaded over his shoulders. He was almost perfect, accpet for the scar over his left eye.

And that’s when Jareth showed up. She began to wonder how he could be her worst
nightmare when her sleeve began convulsing. She looked down to see, what she
thought was a girl goblin, tugging with all her might trying to get her attention.

“Yousa need to get dressed, m’lady.”

“But, I am dressed.”

“The king wishes for you to be dressed...” she added pointing to a large armoire.

“Oh, my,” Sarah open the door and saw at least 40 dresses, every color you could think
of,” He wants me in a dress?”

Jareth followed his brother to the south balcony.

“Well, my brother, what brings you here?”

Micheal instead of sitting, stepped to edge of the balcony and stared out over the
Labyrinth.

“Jareth, while I have no intention of bringing any trouble to your life, I hate to be bearer
of bad news. That little spit fire you have in your chambers is a mortal. You know this
right?”

“Micheal, I”

“And you know that mortals dont take pain well.”

“Micheal,”

“Jareth. She can’t handle pain, she wont be able to handle the pleasure. She will not be
able to handle a fae.”

“Do you think I am stupid, brother? Do you think I do not know these things. I am aware
of the talks of mortals.”

“Then why, my brother, do you waste your time with that animal? Why did you bring her
here?”

“She, Micheal, is different. She is not like the others. She won, she beat me, she beat
the Labyrinth. Surely that means something. She is strong willed, not to mention shes a
little feisty.”

“Jareth she is still mortal. I will not let you toy with our family line.”

“I dont even want to hear hollow threats from you, you had no right even,”

“Eh Em...”

Both Jareth and Micheal turned to find a very different looking Sarah standing in front
of them. Sarah flushed as she slowly turned around, the pale blue dress clung tightly to
her breasts and hips and flared out down around her feet.

“Sarah, you look,”

“Wonderful.” Micheal finished Jareth’s sentence.

“Thanks.” she slightly bowed at the two.

“Micheal, this lovely creature, is Sarah.”

Sarah bowed a little as Micheal reached for her hand and gently kissed it.

“Yes Jareth, she is a fine mortal indeed.”

Sarah’s stomach rolled as Micheal’s eyes traveled over her body. his eyes lingered on
her luscious breasts like she was naked and she could have swore if Jareth was not
there, she would have been in a lot of trouble.

“I was just talking to my brother about you mortals.”

“Us mortals?”

“Well yes, you are mortal aren’t you?”

Sarah’s face burned red.

“What does that matter?” She replied sitting up a little taller.

“A great deal actually. Why, you mortals are just simply not cut out to deal with the
pain, nor the pleasure, that come from us fae. Unless of course, they are gifted.”

“Sarah is very much gifted,” Jareth half, stated half warned,” she is far beyond
compare.”

“I see. And how so my brother?”

Jareth cleared his throat. The dangerous ground that his brother was treading was
crumbling beneath him.

“Jareth, are you ok?”

“Yes, I am fine. Are you hungry? I am sure you are starved after that long trip. Go to the kitchen and fetch something to eat.”

Sarah caught the hint that Jareth was dropping. She nodded and excused herself. But
instead of heading for the kitchen, hid behind the door to listen.

“Going soft Jareth? You treat her like an equal.”

“You need to hold your tongue. You are in my Kingdom,”

“Our Kingdom,”

“No Micheal, this is MY kingdom. You are not king here, I am. I will choose who I see
fit.”

“And you believe this mortal to be it?”

“With all my heart, Micheal.”

“And what happens when the little wench decides to turn against you?”

“She wont. She loves me.”

“They all loved you. She wants the title, just like every other whore you had.”

*There were others?* Sarah thought to herself. *That bastard.*

“None of that matters now.” Jareth said darkly.

“Oh no? And what happens when she finds out all you wanted is an heir?”

Sarah gasped and quickly covered her mouth as she began to cry.

“That was earlier. Now its different.”

Micheal laughed and Sarah cried.

“What’s so funny?”

“What do you plan to do when she wishes to leave and see her family?”

“I will tie her down and never let her go.”

Sarah collapsed, crying so hard she forgot to be quiet. Jareth turned and found her in
the doorway in a heap of tears. Jareth turned back to his brother, his features darker
than Sarah could ever imagine.

“Micheal, you will leave, leave now and dont come back.”

“Jareth,I”

“Leave! Be Gone! Let it be known I have no brother any longer.” Jareth yelled as
reached for the crumpled Sarah.

“Thanks for coming, Crystal.”

“Oh no problem. From what you told me about this pendant, it was worth it.”

After briefing Crystal on what had happened, Mr.Willams pulled out the pendant and
laid it on the table. He watched as Crystal’s magenta eyes took in everything the
pendant had to offer.

“It’s beautiful. Very regal. Definitely belonged to royalty. I’d say a king.”

“King of Goblins.” Toby chimed in.

“Toby go back to bed.”

“No, actually, Toby come here.” Crystal looked into the child’s face. “whose is those
Toby?”

“Jareth. The Goblin Kings.”

Crystal dropped the pendant with a loud clunk.

“My god, the Seelie court has crossed through?”

“No just Jareth.”

“Oh come on now Crystal, you dont believe,”

“Toby, when did he come?”

“3 days ago, why”

“Mr. Williams, did anything else get left behind?”

“Yes, a doll for Toby.”

“Can I see it?”

Toby needed and ran up the stairs to get it.

“Crystal, what are you doing?”

“Max, your daughter is in serious trouble.”

“What?”

“Here it is!” Toby brought the doll to her and she shook her head in awe.

“I never thought it would happen again. So many years have gone by.”

“He’s dont this before hasn’t he? My sisters not the first huh?”

“No, she’s not.”

“Wait... this guy is real?” Max almost cried.

“Unfortunately, yes. Although, it was his father who came to get a queen the first time.”

“How do we get her back?” Toby asked.

“You see this doll and this pendant? Jareth knows how much you mean to Sarah.
When the time comes, the pendant will shrink to fit the doll. When this happens, it is
time to take action.”

“How do we do that?” Max asked.

“Very carefully.” Crystal closed her eyes and nodded.

“Sarah, let me in!” Jareth called pounding on the chamber door. Normally he would just
appear in there but given Sarah’s condition, he decided not to push it.

“Sarah please, let me talk to you. Let me explain.”

“About what?” She wailed back. “How about how all you want is to get me knocked up?
Or how about how you will tie me down and never let me leave? I dont know how things
work down here, but aboveground, you cant just tie me down whenever you please and
not let me go!”

Jareth had had enough, As much as he hated to do so, he appeared in the room. He
peered around the room until he found a crumpled Sarah on the bed, crying her heart
into the pillows.

“Sarah,” he spoke walking towards the bed, “you need to hear the whole story.”

“I have heard enough from you,” she looked up from the pillow, her eyes puffy and she
was pissed, “I cant believe I told you that I loved you.” She sobbed.

As quick as lightening, she was covered by the king. “My Sarah, you are being unfair.”

Her eyes flashed. “Life’s not fair. What more is there to tell?”

“Much more my dear, let me show you.”

Suddenly Sarah was engrossed by Jareth’s embrace, and squeezed into him. She felt
the bed disappear and closed her eyes to stop her head spinning. When the warmth
had left her and her feet landed on solid ground, she finally opened her eyes and
gasped. She wasn’t where she used to be.
