Nick pulled Rory onto his lap and held her close to him.
Nick: Why did you do this Rory?
Rory: What do you mean?
She tried to act like she didn’t know what he was asking her but she knew exactly what he meant.
Nick: Answered my ad.
Rory: Well I wanted this.
Nick: Sweetie do you know what you’re getting into? Have you even done this before?
Rory: Oh yea a couple of times.
Nick: Don’t lie to me.
Rory: I’m not lying.
Nick: Rory I mean it.
Rory: Ok you’re right this is my first time.
Nick: What would lead you to do something like this?
Rory: Is it all right if I don’t want to talk about that right now?
Nick: No its not. This whole thing we’re doing here is about trust. You have to trust me enough to tell me.
Rory: Just stuff at home.
Nick: Family problems?
Rory: Yes basically.
Nick: Ok we’ll get into details about that later.
Nick: I want you to know that this is your home now. Since you’ll be living with me you have to do what ever I tell you to do. Is that understood?
Rory: Yes.
She nodded
Nick: All right stand up let me get a good look at you. I noticed you didn’t have anything with you when I found you.
He helped Rory get of off his lap so she could stand in front of him.
Rory: Well my suit case broke and since I didn’t have that much in there and all of it wasn’t that important I figured I would just buy some new things.
Nick: I went through your purse there’s no money in there how on earth did you expect to get those things?
Rory: Well I’m getting paid in a few days.
Nick: Are you really that simple minded?! What did you expect to do walk around naked till you get paid?!
Rory: No…
She blushed as he scolded her.
Nick: You don’t know do you.
Rory: Well I thought I could just wear the same clothes.
Nick: That’s just disgusting, but I suppose that will have to do for today.
Rory: Just today?
Nick: I can’t have you wearing the same thing day after day. I’ll have to get you some new clothes. Get ready we’re leaving soon.
Rory nodded and walked towards the bathroom. She did not realize that Nick was right behind her.
Nick: Why did you do this Rory?
Rory: What do you mean?
