Dinner
Chapter 5.
The whole time through dinner, Jack and Elizabeth kept stealing glances from each other. Jack had sensed that Elizabeth’s eyes were filled with hunger, passion and a long to be touched. Jack smirked to himself because this was exactly what he had intended to give her after they’d finished dinner.
The funny thing was that neither of them took care to the others who were present in the room. It felt like it was only them left surrounded by passion that was flowing through their dirty, hungry minds.
William rolled his eyes every time Elizabeth looked towards that Wretch. He could feel his heart starting to pound in pain even just thinking about the fact that something was still going on between them. He wanted to trust Elisabeth but knowing how horny that girl was, he would not be surprised at all. William carefully put an arm around here shoulders, snapping her out of the trance.
Elizabeth shifted uncomfortably under his hold. She had not really noticed Will’s present until now. And it was until now she recalled that she was still engaged to him - in wait to became a blacksmith’s wife.
Jack ignored Willy boy, not wanting this to bother him but when he saw Elizabeth’s face suddenly fall, he started to worry if she had not changed her mind again.
An awkward silence covered the whole room. Everyone was sitting under tension. When Gibb’s could not hold on any longer, he broke the stillness. “So Cap‘n.. Where are we headed for the moment?”
Jack did not answer immediately because he was too busy worrying over Elizabeth’s regrettable behavior. She was now clinging over Will and they were kissing in-between eating their meals. Jack could feeling something inside him break.
Gibbs cleared him mind, snapping him back to reality.
“Er.. What?” Jack kept his voice emotionless and steady.
“Where are we headed?” Gibbs asked again patiently.
“Tortuga, we need to load up the supplies.” Jack merrily whispered, trying hard to keep his eyes on the plate in front of him.
Gibbs and the others just nodded and started cleaning up the table.

Elizabeth’s POV
Elizabeth’s mind was confusing her and she became to feel dizzy all the sudden. Jack could wait, it was not like he could not get any other woman he wants. Why would she even bother giving him something this value to her. Will was a good a man and he deserved to be treated better. What had just happened between Jack and her was a mistake and should stay as that. There was no point in bringing it up. Ever! It was just a kiss. More likely a goodbye kiss anyway, according to her inner voice.

Jack’s POV
Why could not she just make up her mind for once. Moments ago, she was desperately wanting him and now.. She was acting all the opposite. Anger began to flutter over his features. He stood up abruptly and walked his way out of the room. Away from her.

Elizabeth of course ignored Jack irritated behavior and whispered to William. “I’m tired, could you please take me to our cabin.” Will nodded and helped her up from the chair.
Gibbs and the others rolled their eyes. It seemed like a bizarre situation that was getting nowhere.
