Story Notes: WIP, The Twins are freed from the Merovingian, only to quite literally find them selves in hell. How will they cope with the real truth of the Matrix? Some time frames have under gone artistic licenses.

The digital clock in the car flashed twelve in its acid green glow and Trinity let out a relived sigh.
"Its time to go"
They slipped out of the car and approached the Merovingian's skyscraper. They knew they were not invited this time. They would not get in so easily as the last visit. Neo had wanted to go alone but had relented in protest that Fish would be needed to hack the computer and it was impractical for them to try and move it, they had come equipped with disks to which they were going to download the entire contents of the machine onto were further decryption would be handled inside of the construct.
The entered the building with out batting an eye, then rode the elevator with just as few problems. It was a bit freaky Fish had to admit, they had come armed to the teeth expecting massive resistance but the building was empty. Not just from warriors for Frenchy but from it seemed most people in general. They approached the doors to the restaurant and not even that rueful French waiter was gone. In fact the whole restaurant was empty along with the kitchen.
"This is creepy" Fish stated the obvious.
Neo nodded in reply and pulled the silver key a friend of the key makers had given him. When the office doors opened the entry way to the chateau could be seen, it marble and statues still broken but at least cleaned up. Then he seemed confused. "I cant see the code here, I mean I can feel it but I cant read its. Its all junky, I think its in French." He grinned making a very poor joke. "He's managed to encrypt it some how." Neo added when no one seemed to be laughing. At least Fish still had his usual plastered grin on.
"Are you sure Neo?" Morpheus asked. Neo nodded in response.
"So how are we going to find his computer in this place then?" Trinity seemed agitated.
Fish grinned even more, this was his forte. "With Dog Shark of course!"
Trinity could have moaned at fishes stupid pun. The boy pulled a floppy disk form inside of his coat and whacked it once on the back of his wrist, then tossed the disk on to the ground. The black square shimmered then uncoiled, a tan bodied, and missile shaped shark wiggled and hovered into existence. "Damn I love this place" Fish was still smiling like a cocky school boy.
"So what does this thing do?" Neo seemed generally interested.
"Watch this. Alright Dog Shark find the Merovingian's personal computer."
The blinked its mercury eyes then slowly flicked its tail, its was just a view inches off the ground and its wiggled like it was swimming through invisible jelly. Finally finding purchase it began to move forward.
Trinity frowned "If this thing cant move any faster we will never get out of here."
"Patience Trinity, DS is a search engine notloodlood hound despite his name. He will get use were we need to go we just need to follow and be very patient, besides…"
Fish almost tripped as dog shark stopped dead at a pair of double doors, they hadn't even done 10 feet yet. Fish's smile was whipped away. "You stupid thing work damn it."
Morpheus watched Fish's exasperated attempts to get DS to work, then finally suggested, "perhaps he has found what we are looking for?"
Fish stopped at returned the captains gaze. "Well it is possible." Fish opened the door cautiously, and they all stepped inside, closing the door shut behind them.
Neo fumbled for a light switch on the wall but finding non he instead settled for willing a few of the candle wielding chandeliers above into flame. In the soft glow of the candles the room was at least viewable, although the edges of the room were inky black. The floor was highly polished Ebony wood and the white spots of reflection from the above candles danced likers ors on the floor. Most of the room could not be scene bar the double doors they had entered and an identical set on the fall side of the room.
"I don’t think this is right" Started fish "I mean I don’t…"
Neo put a hand on his shoulder to silence him. "I feel something, it feels like agents, lots of them."
Their attention was ripped away from Neo's revelation however as the double doors on the far end of the dark room creaked into life. The blue door swung open and a taoy doy dressed in a crisp black suit and iridescent sun glasses stepped into the room, holding a Desert Eagle level at their heads.
"Oh My God. Mouse?" Trinity gasped.

I had had not intended to split this chapter but, they way it turned out it seemed like a most natural split. I admit it’s a bit on the short side but that's not always bad. Eventually I may right this, but I had to beat my muse with as tick to get this chapter out. I hateChapter 6 is actually almost finished, and chapter 7 is close as well. That is why this update has taken a while, but those two chapters will be up very quickly. I had originally planned on making chapters 5, 6, and 7 one chapter, and originally it was going to take place in chapter 3. Oh well lol, best laid plans of mice and men. Just a heads up in the next few chapters pay attention for any thing that is pale or white a symbol of false innocence. Oh and on my honor Agents are coming, plus hunky Hugo in the mix.
Oh and wondered about all those Smith closes? Explanation and a deep felt discussion on why Smith hates his closes. See self hatred isnt healthy my boy.
