Hephaistion had enough of Alexander. He really did. All that smothering and all the so-called endearments of love. How did he ever fall in love with such a man? Finally he was able to escape Alexander’s grasp and have a moment to his self, claiming that he needed to take a relaxing bath alone. Of course Alexander disputed, saying that if he needed to relax that he should be with him.


“I could give you a massage Phai.”


“Alexander, watch Teodor while I bathe, I believe your mother needs her time to herself.”


“But Phai!”


Hephaistion forced Alexander to be quiet through a powerful hungry kiss.


“Stay with Teodor,” Hephaistion said before closing the bathroom door.


Of course Hephaistion felt very dirty, he spent over an hour in the bath washing himself clean of any traces of Alexander. The bath water had gone cold, yet Hephaistion was still in the water.


A knock on the door, “Hephaistion, are you alright?”


A quick reply, “Yes I am fine. I’ll be out in a moment.”


“Alright.”


Hephaistion stepped out of the bath reluctantly and saw his reflection in the mirror. He squinted his eyes and stepped closer towards the mirror. This was not Hephaistion. This man, woman, thing, before him was not Hephaistion. The creature before him was meek, not a warrior like Hephaistion


“What have I become,” Hephaistion whispered as he touched the glass.


Teodor was lost to him; he had nothing tying him down here anymore.


“I MUST escape,” he said aloud once again, “Before I am truly lost once again.”


“Hephaistion?”


“I am coming Alexander, my love, I just need to get dressed.”


“Don’t get dressed, I put Teodor to bed, now come out.”


Hephaistion walked to the door and let out a huge breathe, he put a huge smile on his face and his hand on the doorknob. Hephaistion opened the door quickly and embraced Alexander.


“Oh, thank you for that. I feel so relaxed.”


“Your welcome Phai,” Alexander said while placing a quick kiss to Hephaistion’s lips.


Hephaistion released himself from Alexander’s embrace still smiling.


“I am tired Hephaistion. I do not know how you keep up with such energy!”


Hephaistion grabbed Alexander’s hand and led him toward the bed, “Come let us lay down together then.”


Hephaistion sat down on the bed, but Alexander was still standing.


“Undress me Hephaistion.”


Hephaistion stood back up and took off Alexander’s clothing. Alexander then sat down and let Hephaistion take off his sandals. When Hephaistion glanced upward it took all the willpower he had not to jump in disgust. It was Alexander’s bold erection.

“Gods, how beautiful you are,” Alexander said while lifting Hephaistion from the floor, “Let me make love to you.”


“My king, oh my king,” Hephaistion said while kissing him. (How he dreaded hearing those words!)

Hephaistion felt someone watching him, glaring into his soul. He opened his eyes and saw Alexander mere inches away from his face.


Alexander kissed Hephaistion quickly on the lips, “I’ve been thinking.”


“About what my love?”


“You will be entering your cycle soon. We should have another child.”


“Another child, so soon?”


“I know the twin’s passing was devastation on you Phai, but we must move on. Let’s have another child.”


Hephaistion didn’t respond in words, he merely kissed Alexander fully on the lips. He needed to find Bagoas, and he needed to find him soon.
