'Her hair fanned out beneath her...lips curled back in esctacy...'
Blade shook himself back to reality as he slowly came down the stairs
and rounded the corner to see Teran standing against the wall. "Ter,
what's wrong with her?" Teran peeked through her fingers, gazing at
nothing, then finally focusing on his face. "Leraya and I were
playing when her eyes turned and changed. Don't ask me how, they just
did. I asked her was she okay and she tried to bite me. That little
girl is strong, especially for her size. She's only four but this may
be her vamp side coming out. B, what are we going to do? Asya is in ere ere with her now. I hope 'Raya hasn't tried to hurt Asya yet. I was
almost scared to leave her in there alone. But she insisted, she kept
saying, 'I'm her mother and I know what's best for her!' Go help
them, B, I can't do this alone-" Teran's voice began to shake and she
began to cry. Blade went to her and she collasped in his arms,
sobbing uncontrollably. "Ter, it'll be ok. I promised to take care of
them and I will." Teran stopped crying for a moment and looked into
his eyes. "I know you will, even without your promise I know you
will. Because you love Asya, the same way I love you and stay by your
side." She leaned her head against his chest and dropped her
voice, "I was a bit jealous when they first got here, but now I see
it's all for the best...I'll always love you, Erick..."
