A play on chance

Calypso and Dorian continued to think about escape as the day rolled on. There was not much else to do. It took them a while to realize that they were hearing canon fire. Calypso ran to the window and gasped. There was a ship firing on the one they were in. She and Dorian moved from the window to the middle of the room. They heard the shouts and curses of the pirates as they ran about trying to fight back. She and Dorian then realized it was the perfect opportunity. They scurried to the large window, seeing that indeed there was a small boat.
"Let's get out of here, before they think to come for us as some sort of shield." Calypso said
They climbed out and into the boat. Calypso's gloves were on, but one slipped, and her hand knocked over the empty fruit bowl. The door slammed open and she felt a fiery pain in her side before she tumbled towards the small boat. Dorian and Calypso lowered it to the ocean and she breathed a sigh of relief before groaning in pain. She grabbed hold of the boat and then screamed. There was blood everywhere. She couldn't get away from it. She suddenly fell overboard and started to sink into her visions and the sea.
"CALYPSO!" Dorian shouted, looking for her as she sank.
Calypso realized that she was under the water too late. She hadn't the breath to make it back up. She tried, but felt weakness spread through her bones. She felt suddenly buoyant. Her head broke the surface. She looked around, noticing for the first time, the dolphin pod. Laughing and coughing at the same time, she tried to find the boat Dorian was in. Barbossa and his ship were far away, and she noticed the other ship flew dark sails as well, and pondered who it might be. She laughed when she figured Norrington would be upset to find pirates were propagating. They were getting closer to the other ship. She heard her name being called.
"Calypso! Are you alright?" Will shouted to her.
"Master Will! What are you doing aboard a pirates ship?" She called back.
"Looking for you, darling." Will's bar companion said. He had jumped into the water. "Let me give you a hand."
Calypso was confused, and surprised. Very surprised. She had never figured she would see him in person. He was startlingly familiar, and not just because of her vision. He lifted her from the helpful dolphin and began to help her swim to the boat. Soon they were aboard and she had a blanket around her. Dorian was being closed in on as they spoke, which wasn't much. Calypso's teeth chattered from the cold, and Jack was keeping his distance, this was just too strange for him. The girl seemed to be a mirror image of himself, a very feminine and beautiful mirror image, not that he was vain or anything like that. He also felt rather guilty for the life Will had described to him. He kept wanting to move closer to comfort the girl, but didn't want to just jump into her life like that without even telling her who he was. Especially to her.
"Dorian, I pray that you are alright." Calypso said, rushing to him as he came aboard.
"I am fine Calypso. You were bleeding before you fell, what happened?" Dorian asked.
"Bleeding? What did that bastard do to you?" Jack snarled.
"I don't know who it was, but he came in as we went out the window. I think he hit me with something." Calypso said.
"Let us have a look then, Calypso." Will said.
They peeled back the blanket and saw blood and a ragged hole in her tattered and soaking dress. Calypso felt a new wave of pain hit her when she saw it. She swooned, and Jack caught her.
"I've got ya luv." Jack said.
"I know you from somewhere. In my visions" Calypso said.
"Aye. I've got much more you be needing to know. But for now we must leave you to our ships doctor to see to your wound." Jack said.

BTW I'll be coming up with more soon hopefully. No one is rping on my boards, so I've been bitten by the story bug. ^_^ now I need to figure out what is wrong with my space bar. it's having issues again.
