I do not own the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie series, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.

Disclaimer goes here... and this: I hadn't realized just how many errors there were. I don't know how they got there, since I was working hard to make it readable. Sorry, they're fixed now, and I'll be adding chapters soon.
In the station where the turtles lived, a serious discussion was about to begin. Keno was being cleaned up by April. She was watching Casey through the corner of her eyes. he felt her eyes as he felt everyone elses. Anger flushed through his face, he kept pacing, the route he took getting shorter and more sharp.
"Would you all cut that out!" He shouted.
"Casey, we have to face it, the Shredder has her. He's not going to give her back without causing more loss on our side." April said.
"Shut up April! Satori is my wife. If that can opener so much as looks at her the wrong way, I'm gonna tear him apart." He shouted, April started in surprise at the outburst.
"There's something else. She was going to tell you something, but you got into that argument, and you stormed out." Keno said.
"I know about her thing as the Shinigami whatever. I don't care about that. Its just I got a little hot headed... ok... a lot hot headed." Casey said.
"Its not that Casey." Keno said.
"There is much we do not understand, though today many unasked questions will be answered, a dark past brought to light. Shinigami no Kootaku was not taken to get to any of us here. There are many reasons for what happened today, and many questions left unanswered. Now we will tell you what we have found." Splinter said before Casey could ask what Keno meant.
With that, they all sat down in a semi circle to talk. Splinter was given the seat of honor in front of them all, amongst soft cushions. April finished cleaning Keno up and he stood, a little shaky yet. He moved to sit near the others and waited while Splinter prepared himself for what was to come. Keno and Casey both had the feeling that the news they were about to hear would be a shock to them all. Splinter looked at April, who nodded and stood up with her notepad and a few other things.
"Right, I was doing a report on adopted and abandoned kids. I used my record with Cheif Sterns to get a look at the records in the hospital uptown. Keno, your name and Satori's was on the list. Your father abandoned you because he had done something terrible and you mother died not so long after you were born." April said.
"I know. I was adopted by my mom and dad. Satori was raised by a different family, because the ones that adopted me didn't have the money to take in another. The original family was close to the ones that adopted me, but they fell through on the agreement. I don't know why, but when the family I was with tried to adopt her from the foster family she ended up with, they couldn't. She ended up moving out of the area, but came back when her foster family abandoned her." Keno said.
"The nurse gave me the records of your birth. Your father had brought your mother in and disappeared. The nurse on duty was told by your mother that he would not come back, because he wasn't even married to her and was after the one he claimed to love. But she did tell the nurse his name and that you were his children. His name: Oroku Saki." April said.
There were a few moments of utter chaos following those words. April was as surprised about this as the rest of them, but only she and Splinter remained stoic at the moment. Splinter watched as Keno paled, and Casey choked on his words. He prayed that they would all choose the wise path instead of going off in anger and thus getting them into deeper trouble than they needed.
"Are you sure about this April?" Keno asked.
"See for yourself." She said handing him the file. "In your mother's last wishes, she requested that the names she had given you be kept. She wanted to be able to find you and guide you in your life. She also asked that you be placed in families of Japanese origin. She met the parents to be and asked them if the could, to teach the two of you martial arts. Its almost as if she were preparing you for what's going on these days, that she knew what you might do for people. It even lists her dying words. "May my children be happy and bring honor to their father's name, since he will loose sight of that.' She died only two months after your birth due to cancer."
"Yes Keno, you and Satori are the children of my greatest enemy." Splinter said, as Keno closed his eyes, accepting slowly what he was reading.
"I am sorry Master Splinter. My blood is his, but I am not." Keno said.
"I care not who your father is. You may yet bring honor to Saki, through the love that you and Satori share with those around you. Saki feels his blood strongly in Satori, but you have masked it by accepting your adopted family as your own." Splinter said.
"Satori has too, but I guess it was too late." Keno said.
"Hold on, how could she accept her family when she didn't really get one, and her foster family died." Casey said.
"Satori was trying to tell you, you forced youself to ignore it. Its not about her being a hero or anything like that. Its about you, you and the family you started by marrying her." Keno said, while Casey just stood there, trying to let it all sink in.
Casey couldn't understand all this. It was all coming to him at once, and it made his head hurt even worse. Satori had told him about her past in detail. How she had fought some dark figure as her house burned down around her, killing what family she might have had. The house finally collapsed all the way, trapping her. She bore a star shaped scar on her back now because of this. She had been taken to the hospital, the only survivor of the fire, and no one had found whoever it was. He figured it was Shredder, trying to get rid of any legacy he could, but he didn't know for sure if that was what he had been doing.
"If it wasn't about her being this Shinigami person, but family.... oh my God... Satori's.. she's pregnant?" Casey shouted, his eyes wide. "How could I have been so STUPID!"
The others were as surprised about this as Casey was. Keno and Splinter worked with calming him down. He put his head in his hands as the turtles and April left to go get food. He was glad for some sort of peace from so many onlooking eyes.
"It all makes sense now. How could I have done this. I left her alone just like that jerk of a father did to you two before." Casey said.
"Its not your fault. At least you intended to come back. All you had was some minor argument, all married couples have arguments like that." Keno said, reassuringly.
"Why are you my side, huh kid?" Casey asked looking at Keno.
"Because she is my sister. She loves you, and you have done everything in your power to keep her safe. And for all your exterior, you love her just as much." Keno said.
After everyone else had gone to bed, Casey stayed up pacing once more and thinking. April just sat and watched him, a frown on her face at his antics. She was still a bit jealous over what Casey had, or to be more exact, over what Satori had. She still remembered the little fling they had had when they had first become aquainted. She still wanted that, even though she wasn't up for something like marraige.
"I wouldn't get too worked up Casey. How can you be so sure that she's pregnant with your kid?" April asked spitefully
"WHAT?!?" Casey asked, astonished at the thought.
"I mean come on, I doubt you were the first or last man to touch her." April said. "This IS New York after all."
"Don't you DARE say that about Satori. She has honor, something you seem to be lacking right now. You can't handle the fact that I love her and she loves me. I know I was the first, and the last to touch her." Casey said. With that he stormed out, so that he did not chance hitting April, as angry as he was at her.
