Trapped in a Pyramid

Lex kept running and running there was no place to go. She took a turn to the right, she had to get out of this pyramid if it was the last thing she did. They had all been killed in the pyramid except for her, she had to get to the outside world and warn them of the threat of these insect-like creatures and on top of that creatures from another world that liked hunting sentient beings.

Lex stumbled as the gear on her back began to weigh her down but she could not stop running. A loud roud echoed through the walls of the cave and Lex fell to the ground and covered her ears to block out the noise.

In frustration she picked herself off the ground and continued to run. Alright, the group had come in this way she was almost there. She turned the corner and stopped as something sharp sliced into her midsection. Lex stood there as the Predator sliced through her midsection like it was cottage cheese, Lex looked up with dead eyes at Scar...

Immediately Lex almost shot out of the 'bed' and began screaming like a wild woman. Where was she, and how the hell did she get on this. Well, the mothership had arrived to find Scar picking up a half-unconscious human female who had the same scar as their clan had. The elders at first had wanted to know immediately what Scar had done, but first they had to get the female human to the Predator's 'medical' room.

That is where Lex was now, with another Predator holding what looked to be a long pointy thing. Lex tried to get up but was restrained by a large hand that seemed awfully familiar. Lex looked up to see Scar restraining her from escaping this huge 'alien' needle. It wasn't that she had a problem with needles but that she was just unsure.

Scar continued to restrain the human girl as she continued to struggle weakly against him. He knew he was going to be in trouble with the elders but he could not leave her out in the snow and they were almost both gone when the mothership arrived. At least she wasn't looking down at her body, because even though there was a sheet covering her lower body she had nasty scratches and other such injuries from the escape from the collapsing cave.

Lex whimpered as the needle was injected into her right side and was barely conscious when she felt someone lifting her off and carrying her somewhere. She didn't care where, at least the pain in her ribs was gone now, wonder what was in that needle.

Later on Lex woke up again to find that she seemed to be on a bed with some other form next to her. She turned around to see who it was to find the Predator right next to her, with his eyes closed. His wounds seemed to have some kind of gel on them and it seemed to be healing fairly well. Maybe his species could not grow back limbs (AVP book) but this gel like substance seemed to be doing the trick.

She looked up at the Predator's face and gently touched his face, trying not to disturb him. Immediately his arm shot out and grabbed her smaller hand in his larger one. Lex was about to scream when . . .
