CHAPTER 6 – PARTY DOGS
“Way cool indeed TC! We are party animals, hope the noise won’t keep you up!” Leon said smiling.
“Hell no! As long as we are up here partying with you guys… or over our house partying… that’s cool with us! Hey I’m not an Ugly Coyote like my sis, but I can dance and party too!” TC said walking to the bar area. Mia turned on the stereo and put some music on, a compilation they had for parties, with Ja Rule, Sugar Ray, 50 Cent, that kind of stuff.
“So your party dawgs too!” Vince finally spoke
“Hey , I though the cat got your tongue Vince!” TC said
“Don’t tell me you’re as spicy as your sister?”
“No Vince, don’t worry. I won’t bug you, you already have my sister to deal with, and that is enough!” Leon laughed at TC and Vince’s face.
“OH really, do you think I can’t handle her lines, guess again girl!” Vince said confident.
“Well see…! Do you guys dance or what…?” She turned to face Leon.
“Well normally we watch girls dance… its more entertaining!” Leon said with a grin. TC blushed slightly and Vince shook his head and left the couple alone.
Letty and Mc came out of the kitchen laughing and go into the living room.
“Hey… Mia, next time you put on some music call us…! Don’t take the dance floor all to yourself!” Letty said joining Mia and TC followed. The girls danced together to the sound of the music, waving and shaking their bodies seductively. Leon jaw dropped looking at TC, MC walked to him and stopped beside him, Vince and Dom were looking at her from the resting area smiling, Leon didn’t even notice MC beside him; his eyes were focused on her sister. MC shook her head smiling and took her hand to his chin closing his mouth. Dom laughed at the picture.
“BUSTED!” Vince yelled at Leon. Leon looked at MC embarrassed she was laughing that made him feel more comfortable.
“Sorry!” He managed to say. MC laughed took her hand to his t-shirt and pulled it up to his mouth pretending to clean it. Leon felt even more embarrassed.
“You’re drooling; better clean your mouth before someone notices!” She said smiling. Vince was laughing his heart out and so was Dom, they both walked to Leon and MC.
“Dawg you were so busted … and by her sister! How freaking unbelievable!” Vince mocked his friend.
“Shut up Vince…!” Leon looked back at MC.
“Sorry…I … well… your sis…” He stuttered
“Easy cowboy, I don’t bite, at least I won’t, unless you do something wrong with that girl there, she is my pride and joy, I raised her, and worked hard for it… but Vince here told me you are a nice guy!” Vince frowned looking at her; he didn’t expect her to give Leon that piece of information. Leon looked at Vince and smiled.
“I promise…!” Leon said
“Do more then that, … just don’t do anything to hurt her, she is still too young…!” MC said sipping her Corona.
“How old is she MC?” Leon asked looking at TC.
“Nineteen … I think she is too young for you… but if you prove me wrong, you’ll have my blessing!” She said tapping his cheek softly. Dom was looking at MC very attentively, this woman looked a lot like him, maybe now he had someone to share some of his thoughts with, not that Letty wasn’t a good listener, she was, but some subjects were not easy to talk to someone who never went through shit like he had gone through.
“Hey… M … I won’t let you down, if … well…”
“Something happens, right?” She finished his statement
“Yah!!” He said seriously.
“Good!” She said and looked at her sister; she was dancing gracefully with the other two girls.
“Ok … that taken out of the way, I got a question?” MC took a deep breathe and looked at Vince.
“Go ahead, I’m ready!” She said teasingly. Dom chuckled and Vince rubbed his beard.
“If you are the Coyote Ugly, why aren’t you dancing? We sure would like to see you … well … show us how Ugly Coyotes dance!” Vince said challenging her.
“Vince’s got a point there MC!” Dom said.
“Hum… new fans! Not today… I really have to be in the mood, but I promise I’ll take you to the bar one of these days!” She said smiling.
“Whow , to NY… are you kidding, it’s too far away!” Leon said
“Well …if I said I’ll take ya… I’ll Take ya! I have a house in Perth Amboy New Jersey, we can crash there for a few days, if it’s ok with Dom!”
“Sure why not… we need a vacation too, but we can’t afford spending money…” Dom was interrupted by MC
“Don’t worry about that…I’ll make all the arrangement’s, you just have to go!” MC replied looking at Dom.
“Are ya kidding?” Leon asked amazed
“NO!” She said flatly. Dom looked at her puzzled, but kept his mind bugs to himself.
“But how are you going to pay everything… you said you needed a job in the garage, needed money? Leon asked
“I said I needed a job, yes, and money too! That doesn’t mean I do not have money. I do have some money … you’ve seen my car gadgets… there is a lot of money under that hood… money is no problem guys! I just like to work…that is all!” MC said looking at them.
“Well that’s a good way to spend time… must be boring not doing anything all day…right?” Jesse asked from the floor , were he was laying playing GTA.
“Yap you are right Jesse!” MC said. The guys smiled looking at her.
“Will you dance?” Vince asked, MC looked at him and smiled.
“Hum… Are you having a fixation on my dancing or what?”
“Just curious!”
“Well Vince, ever heard that curiosity killed the cat! Meow!” She said clawing her hand close to his face and walking to the back of the house.
“Vince, you are really busted with this woman!” Dom said going after MC. Vince shrugged his shoulders and sipped his corona.
