Chapter 6
Elizabeth was awoken by Mr. Gibbs yelling, “There he is! Bring the boats around! Hurry damn it!”
Elizabeth sprung from her bed, noticed she was wearing her boyish clothes again, and that Jack was nowhere to be seen. She stepped outside the captain’s quarters and noticed instantly the gloomy look on the faces of the crew that were all crowded around a small area. As she made her way over, she noticed a lifeless body on the deck. She ran to the body. “No!” She screamed, “This can’t be, I was just with him!”
The crew looked at Elizabeth as though she was crazy. Mr. Gibbs walked over to where she was standing. “No Ms. Elizabeth, that’s not possible. We just found him. You must just be upset from hearing the news about Mr. William Turner.”
Elizabeth fell to the deck where Jack’s body laid. “Captain Sparrow, you have to come back! Don’t leave me alone!” Her head fell on him as she began to cry.
