Appology not Accepted
Chase threw his shirt back on just as he reached the door to his own room. He found Tyler lying on the bed on top of the comforter, fast asleep, but as soon as he closed the door the boy woke up. Chase was almost sad that he had woken up, Tyler had looked so peaceful. "Sorry I woke you," he said apologetically, "you must be a light sleeper." Tyler nodded, saying nothing. Chase noticed that the food had not been touched, but the pitched of water had been almost emptied. He paused before he spoke, then said "are you feeling alright?"
Tyler glared at him and, to Chase's surprise, punched him square in the nose. He staggared back, feeling at his nose, as a small trickle of blood came out. He smirked for a second, then his eyes turned black as he healed himself. Then he looked over to Tyler, his eyes still black, and sent the younger man flying across the room. Chase walked over to him, pinning the boy against the wall.
"So this is the thanks I get?!" he scoffed. "I give you my room. I give you food and water. I give you warmth, comfort, and I don't even bug you that much, and this is what you give me in return! I could take this all away from you. Lock you up in a room in the basement. No real light, no heat, hardly any food or water... but I thought you would be more accepting of my generosity. I could give you what they have, what they deserve.
"Where the hell are my friends man! Caleb beat you at the barn; you lost. Now let us go!" His voice was still strong, even though he had just flown a good 15 feet into a hard stone wall. Tyler pushed Chase off him, giving himself some breathing space. Chase was surprised to see that the boy wasnt as weak as everyone made him out to be, not in the least bit.
"You want to know where they are? Well I thought it was obvious! Their not here! Their probably in pain too..." Chase said, mocking him with every word that came from his mouth. "I could let you join them if you really want. I don't really want to have to do that to you though, then I wouldnt have anyone to talk to..." Chase pushed himself up against Tyler and backed them against the wall, again pinning him in place.
"One day, you're gonna get what's comin for you... one day, I will find a way to get back at you, for ALL YOU'VE DONE! ... To me!, to them!, and to anyone else you've ever harmed! One day, I'm gonna look you in the eye, and I'm just gonna stand there, and watch you die..." Tyler stared straight at him as he spoke. Neither off them moved a muscle, both seemed equally stunned by the outburst. Chase recovered first. He stepped back, then pushed Tyler into the air, sliding him up the wall with his powers. When he spoke his voice was almost a hiss, low and dark.
"You know if anyone ANYONE else had dared to even think what you have just said, they would have been a pile of ashes before they realized their mistake. But I'm going to do us both a favor and leave before I do anything we both regret." Chase's eyes where hard and inscrutable, any of the seeming kindness Tyler had seen had evaporated. Chase looked down right frightening and very nearly insane. Tyler knew that already of course but he hadn't seen it come out quite as much as it had in these few moments. His thoughts where interrupted when he felt himself collapse on the floor no longer pinned down by Chase's power. He looked up just in time to see Chase's retreating back as he stormed out of the room and the door slammed behind him. Insane and yet he hadn't harmed him, maybe there was more to Chase than he had thought before.
