CHAPTER 6
They awoke when the watch bell rang, alerting them that they must have fallen asleep on deck. Lizzie was still in Jacks lap when she realized that she probably hadn’t heard Willy if he had woken up. She panicked at the thought and ran to the cabin. Jack wasn’t too far behind but it did take him a little longer to get there, as the feeling in his legs was long gone, not that he would regret her sitting there; ever.
When he’d made it to the cabin he was relieved to find Lizzie sitting on the edge of the bed watching Willy sleep, less panicked than she had been only minutes before.
“He hasn’t moved from the position he was in when I left him. I was so afraid he had needed me and I wasn’t there for him.”
“He’s alright luv and a good sleeper…that’s good to know.” He wiggled his eyes suggestively at her.
“Jack!” She playfully smacked him when he approached and placed his hands on her waist lifting her body to his. She couldn’t hide the smile that spread across her face. “It’s the middle of the night.”
“Perfect time luv! The crew won’t hear you as they are all asleep.” He kissed her and locked his eyes with hers.
“But Willy will!” She laughed as he pulled her off of her feet.
“Only if you scream.” He kissed her. “I do hope you scream.”
That actually made her blush a little. “Jack. Not with Willy in the cabin.” But Jack was paying no mind as he laid her on the bunk and removed his shirt to join her.
“Fine, but that doesn’t mean I can’t kiss ye senseless in an attempt to make ye give in.” His talking suddenly stopped as his lips set out to prove his point until they both gave in to resuming their slumber.
When the sun finally came up Jack left a sleeping Lizzie and Willy in the cabin and turned his attention to his ship. Standing at the helm he felt more peaceful than he ever did, and he hadn’t even succeeded in his mission the night before. His Lizzie had one hell of a resolve. His Lizzie, he liked that. His ship alone used to be enough for him to get by, but now he realized just how much he had been missing all these years by running from port to port without so much as a thought to find something more lasting. He silently spoke a thank you to the Dutchman’s captain who had helped him find his way.
Jack had spent the day on deck and had barely seen Lizzie all day. When he returned to his cabin he tossed his coat and hat on his desk, removed his effects and flopped down on the bed face down, his mind leaving the events of the day and turning only to thoughts of her. He wasn’t entirely sure where she was but figured there aren’t many places for her to be on a pirate ship so he need not worry. He must have fallen asleep briefly because the next thing he knew she was straddling him and rubbing his back.
“Mmm” he mumbled and turned his head to speak as he opened his eyes.
“Hard day Captain?” She asked, leaning down to kiss his cheek rather seductively.
“Aye. And if ye keep that up its about to get harder.” Jack smirked, not entirely surprised that she had managed to sneak up on him but hopeful that her behavior meant she was ready for what she was implying she was ready for.
She practically ignored his hint, “Seems you were right about Marty. He doesn’t object to watching Willy if it involves an extra ration of rum.” She resumed running her hands along the muscles of his back.
He couldn’t help the smirk that expanded along his face but he figured he’d get her wound up a bit, “Ye know Lizzie giving away the Captain’s rum is punishable as the Captain sees fit.”
“A crime I can surely make up for,” she practically purred the statement into his ear.
Before she could continue her response he had managed to reverse their positions and pin her to the bed while seizing her lips in a bruising kiss.
“Lizzie, I think its only fair to warn ye luv that I am not ceding to any previous agreements tonight.” He looked at her with the most serious of eyes; it actually made her shiver, “If ye have any inhibitions about this whatsoever I suggest you leave now while I still have restraint.”
“Jack.” She leaned up and kissed him, “I want this, and I want you. I’ve always wanted you.” She kissed him more passionately and placed her hand on his cheek to look into his eyes, “Everything comes back to you Jack, I love you.”
At her statement he thought his heart would explode. Here he was this legendary pirate captain, rouge of the seven seas, and she had managed to worm her way into his heart: a heart that he shouldn’t have had, that he had kept well hidden, until her. She’d revealed Jackson Teague, the man behind the myth and the man she had always seen him as, the man she knew he could be, the man that had been murdered off so many years before.
“Lizzie girl, I would never thought myself capable of such an emotional attachment in me life.” It was the most honest answer he could give her, so he kissed her, silently speaking the ‘I love you’ he could never mutter. His hands moved slowly to unbutton her shirt. This was something he had waited years for, something he was going to prolong and enjoy as long as he could. As he took in the view of her bare torso he couldn’t help the grin that spread across his face. His eyes met hers, which were fixed on his face and dark with lust. She’d clearly been waiting for this nearly as long as he had.
He kissed her again, before trailing his lips across her shoulders and down her body. His hands led his mouth and covered every inch of her anatomy. “Lizzie, yer beautiful.” His lips returned to hers before he pulled away to remove his pants, which were rapidly becoming quite uncomfortable. He chuckled to himself as he noticed her eyes fixed on his lower region, a revelation that made him even more aroused. When she noticed that he’d seen her looking, she blushed, eliciting a chuckle from him. His eyes met hers and he slowly pulled her breeches off and spoke “no shame luv” he leaned in to her and whispered into her ear before nibbling on her ear lobe, “its all for you Lizzie, I want you to feel it. See what you do to me. Look at me.” He loved the flush that crossed her face, she still had such innocence, something he was sure he could break but was endearing all the same. He ground his hips against her and he couldn’t help but smile when he heard her stifle a moan. “Let it out luv, I want to hear you.” He slowly kissed his way down her body, pausing briefly at her chest to suck and nibble on her nipples.
Her mind was racing. Sure this wasn’t her first time, but she was certainly lacking experience. She’d only ever been with Will, and that was rushed. Rushed because neither really knew what they were doing, rushed because Will’s time with her was fleeting, and rushed because… what did it really matter at the moment. Her thoughts turned back to the present when she realized Jack had relocated.
He had just settled himself between her legs when she spoke rather innocently “Jack, what are you doing?” He’d nearly forgotten her lack of experience. Surely the whelp wouldn’t have known how to pleasure her in such a manner. He was likely equally inexperience and rushed for time.
“Relax luv and trust me on this one, eh?” She merely nodded as he maneuvered himself closer to her core. He slowly slipped his tongue in, lapping at the juices that were already building merely from the trail his lips and hands had so expertly followed earlier. He had barely applied any pressure and she was squirming. He would have to hold her still. As he gripped her hips he slid his tongue more forcefully across her clit and he couldn’t help the grin that spread across his lips as she began panting his name along with a slew of curses she never thought would leave her lips.
She couldn’t describe the feeling washing over here. She could swear at some point she had lost all coherence, however the words flowing from her mouth never ceased to encourage her talented lover and make him chuckle. Jack had crawled back up to her head and kissed her. His lips carrying a new flavor that she realized had to be her own, and she loved it, much to her own surprise, and intensified to kiss. As her breathing settled a bit she met his gaze and smiled. Words were still unavailable to her; she was left in awe of this man, her man, her pirate, and her lover.
“Judging by the immeasurable grin on yer face luv, I can assume you are happy with my performance and wish to resume?” He playfully ran his hand down her body resting his hand on her hip and pulling her against him firmly. His erection was painfully hard now and he needed her, needed his release. His patience could only hold so long and he needed her, more than he needed anyone in his entire life.
She smiled at him, “Take me Jack.”
That was all the encouragement he needed. With cat like grace he positioned himself above her and slowly plunged into her weeping entrance, giving her no opportunity to over think the situation. She wrapped herself around him holding him to her, as if she was afraid he would leave her - old fears resurfacing. He didn’t move, as hard as it was for him, somehow he sensed her sudden panic and wanted to reassure her that he was indeed in no rush. He wasn’t planning on going anywhere, now or ever. “Lizzie luv, I not going anywhere.” He slowly inched his way back before sliding himself deeper within her. She seemed to loosen her death grip on him and began moving with him, establishing a rhythm: a lover’s song that healed both of their insecurities and fears. She loved him with all her heart and he returned it unconditionally, he’d already proven that much. He didn’t need to utter the words for her to know he would always love her, he proven it to him beyond reason. His warm chocolate orbs had remained locked on hers since the dance began and now their breathing and rhythm became disrupted. She reached that impossibly wonderful feeling again and when she regained coherence she realized he was wiping her belly of his seed.
He smiled up at her. Smiled. No smirk, no treachery, it was the most sincere smile she’d ever seen on his face. Come to think of it, it was the first time she’d ever seen him smile. “Don’t need to have more than one little lad running around the ship right now do we?” He commented.
“Jack.” She moved to lay her head on his chest.
As he lay there holding onto her he silently vowed to himself that this was what his life had long been missing. This was the secret to eternal happiness, and it did really exist, if you knew where to find it; he’d finally found a real treasure and he was right all along, it didn’t need to be all silver and gold. His persona didn’t matter anymore, not with her. He’d tell the whole world he loved her if he needed to and the fact that she didn’t expect him to, made him love her that much more.
Lizzie lay listening to the beat of his heart as it regained a steady pace settling to match her own. She remembered her first time with Will and how she didn’t feel as fulfilled as she did right now. Jacks heart beat in sync with hers. Listening to Wills heartbeat through a treasure chest never allowed her the peace of mind she had at this moment, the security she felt knowing she was safe in Jack’s arms. Will’s heart could never beat with hers, she began to wonder if it ever had. She was so lost in her thoughts she hadn’t noticed Jack watching her all along.
“Not regretting anything are ye?” He asked somewhat serious in his question given the overly thoughtful look that had surfaced on her face in recent minutes.
She smiled at him and pressed her lips to his, “Never. I was merely enjoying listening to your heartbeat.” She could never tell him what she was thinking about just then, but she wasn’t really lying to him either.
“Me thump thump?” he asked playfully sensing the need to lighten her mood.
“No Jack, MY thump thump.” She smiled at him and pressed a kiss to his chest.
“And how do you know its yours, hmm?” He asked.
“Because I’m not letting anyone take it Jack, ever.” She smiled at him. The smile of a woman who knew the value of a living mans love.
“No worries Lizzie. You’re the only one that’s ever found it and I don’t think anyone wants to incur the wrath of the Pirate King. From what I hear she can be a pretty tenacious woman, deadly even. Not so sure I ever want to cross her or…” she pressed a finger to his lips to stop his rambling.
“Shut up and kiss me Jack.” She smirked at him.
“Of course yer majesty,” and his lips found hers speaking all the things his ramble would have eventually.
Jack awoke as the first rays of sunlight began bouncing off the wall of his cabin. As his eyes adjusted he looked into the face of the smiling king he held in his arms. Her caramel eyes keenly alert and staring back into his.
“Good morning Jack.” She smiled at him.
He kissed her forehead before replying “Right now its just morning luv. Nothings happened yet to qualify it as ‘good,’ as you’ve so claimed.” He smirked at her.
A spark seemed to lighten her eyes some and create a quick retort, “Well then Jack we may just have to rectify that little technical difficulty.” She no longer held any trepidation with him, in fact he’d brought out a boldness she never knew existed within herself, and it had only taken one night. He always had a tendency in bringing out abilities she never knew she had, just like she could bring out the truth behind his persona.
“Aye.” He kissed her lips, “and just how do you suppose we do such a thing lass?” He placed his lips on the hollow of her throat as she tried to reply, his curiosity getting the best of him.
“Well, since last night was such a good night,” she paused briefly as she tried to calm her breathing to sound as nonchalant as possible, “maybe we could carry said activities on into the morning hours?”
“Mmm.” He ceased his actions and placed a thoughtful finger on his chin. “That could be arranged Lizzie if I was encouraged.” He smiled at her again, the smile of a Cheshire cat.
“You want encouragement Captain Sparrow?”
“Aye,” he kissed her lips, “encourage me luv.”
She stifled the chuckle she would have released if his lips weren’t currently keeping her mouth rather occupied. If it was encouragement he wanted, she would certainly fulfill his request.
She slowly trailed her fingers from his shoulders down his chest over his hips and settled them onto his arse pulling him against her. She pulled away from his kiss “seems you do need a little encouragement,” she lightly kissed random spots on his face, she could tell he wanted to reclaim her mouth. “I think I know just how to provide it.” Her hand suddenly moved to embrace his member, slowly running a finger along its length. She could feel it coming to life at her slightest touch, and she couldn’t help the wide-eyed grin that spread across her face. “Seems to me that I’ve found a means of motivation.”
“Yer all the motivation I need luv.” He pressed his lips to hers, slipping his tongue passed her lips to entwine with hers and taking control of the situation.
Not long after, the pair appeared on deck: Jack immediately turning his attention to the helm and Lizzie to the care of her son, who was currently wobbling around in pursuit of Marty who was playing some kind of tag game with the boy.
Lizzie was happier than she had ever thought possible and greeted Willy with a warm hug good morning. Marty offered his services in watching Willy anytime, as he had enjoyed the lads company, before climbing to the crow’s nest to take over watch and likely a nap.
Meanwhile Jack stood at the helm staring off at the horizon and thinking about the last 12 hours of his life. He was struggling to keep the grin of the happy go lucky idiot as far from his face as possible, but every time he thought about the evening that was, he found it slowly creeping onto his face again. Suddenly he noticed a mini jack sitting on his shoulder, “so ye finally got ‘er aye?” the mini-jack took a sip from his rum bottle, “when are ye going to blow it?”
“M’not” the real Jack rebutted, somewhat mutely. For the life of him he couldn’t understand why he kept seeing these things. The locker had changed him, had confirmed everyone’s suspicions of his madness, but they never seemed to notice.
Suddenly the other mini-jack appeared. “Would ye leave ‘im alone already?”
“Why would I want to do that?” The drunken miniature shot back.
“Because he’s finally found what it is he truly desires. Ye need not confuse ‘im anymore. His compass is steadfast and nothing can change that.”
Jack had started to like that version of him, he was hardly as drunk and not nearly as obnoxious as the other one, “I agree with that one.”
“Jack?” he was startled when he heard her voice behind him. “Whom do you agree with?”
Oh bugger, she had caught him talking to himself. How was he going to explain that to her, he couldn’t even explain it to himself? He’d play if off and see how that went. “The one that says we need to spend more time like we did last night…and this morning,” he smirked at her, half meaning it and half to hope he could divert her attention.
“Really Captain Sparrow. And to think, I thought you had no fun at all.” She returned his smirk and stepped a bit closer to him. “Marty offered his services this evening.”
“I always liked him.” He waggled his eyebrows at her.
“Well if you would rather spend the evening with Marty then…”
He pulled her to him instantly with a look of dire seriousness in his eyes and kissed her almost aggressively. “Don’t even jest about such nonsense luv.”
She laughed at him before leaning in to whisper in his ear, “I wouldn’t let you anyway” she playfully bit his ear before continuing, “I have plans for you this evening.” She kissed his cheek sweetly and walked off. Leaving the captain with a slight discomfort and a desire for the daylight hours to pass that much more quickly.
