Cry little sister- chapter 6
“Are you really going to let him do it?” David paused mid-step at the mouth of the cave, a snarl written across his lips as he turned to face the youngest member of the pack.
“What the fuck makes you think that that’s any of your business?” he demanded as he wrapped his fingers around Marko’s shoulders, his nails ripping into the patchwork material of his jacket.
“She’s you sis-“ Marko stopped midsentence as the fingers that held him in place began to dig in deeper, breaking the skin in places. He swallowed as he grit his teeth determined to continue even if it meant facing the wrath of his brother. “Human or not we protect family.” He finally grit out, breathing shallowly out of habit as he tried to ignore the sticky dark red liquid that was slowly flowing down his chest. “you may have killed the others David but she is different I mean hell we all saw how you looked at her, how you protected her when you thought she was injured and fuck, why are you going to ignore it.”
David shook his head as he pulled back with a deep growl.
“You shouldn’t assume shit that you know nothing about.” He spat past clenched teeth, “she needs to go; she needs to be put down like the rest of that…” David closed his eyes as he rolled his fingers into a fist tempted to lay said fist into Marko’s face but unwilling to hurt the youngest brother. “She just needs to be disposed of.”
“Is it really that bad that she makes you feel human?” Marko questioned as he cocked his head to the side, his curiosity getting the best of him. “What makes her such a threat to you?” Marko shook his head as he watched his leader pace back and forth along the mouth of the cave, his fists drawn close to his body, drawn tight as if at any moment he would strike.
“You have no idea what you are talking about.” He grit out after a tense moment of silence had past between the two, “I didn’t give a rat’s ass about what happened to the other ones, what makes her any different? She should have died like the others.”
“But she didn’t David.” Marko protested, always the voice of reason whether the others wanted to hear it or not, “can you really bring yourself to do it? Can you kill your twin?” David growled, swinging his fist back and laying it into Marko’s nose, smiling as he heard the satisfying crunch of the bones breaking. Shaking his head he glared at Marko one more time before turning and making his way towards the back tunnels.

Her heart was pounding as she stood in one of the narrow tunnels, ands resting against the wet stone. Her neck throbbed as she swallowed, itchy and dry, in desperate need of a drink. Closing her eyes she let out a slow breath, willing her ears to pick up any sounds around her.
“I’m coming for you princess.” Natalya froze, her breath catching in her throat as the voice echoed off of the walls around her, nothing hinting as to where he was coming from. Taking in a deep shaky breath she squeezed her eyes shut, and demanded that her body not freeze up on itself, but with the blood roaring in her eyes she knew that it wasn’t going to happen.
“He can’t kill you Talya.” She breathed as she forced her eyes open and looked down at her feet, willing them to move, “just keep on walking…”
“I can’t kill you princess?” Natalya flinched as the tan cold hand wrapped itself slowly around her neck, holding her in place as the marble like body pressed into her back. “Well isn’t that an interesting little theory?” he chuckled softly and it took everything in her not to shiver and tug away. “Care to test that one out?” She bit her bottom lip as she squeezed her eyes shut, reciting an old nursery rhyme to herself as he tugged her head to the side, baring her throat to his gaze. She swallowed as his lips skimmed slowly across the skin, his grip on her neck tightening till she could no longer breathe, her lungs protesting every moment that they went without oxygen. Teasingly Dwayne drew his fangs along the skin, loving the way that she shivered, body anticipating what was to come, mind screaming against it. Smirking he let his hand go from her throat, air forcing its way into her lungs only to be torn out in a soundless scream as his fangs ripped their way into her throat, flesh instantly giving way to warm liquid cooper.
Whimpering Natalya reached up to grip the back of his neck, unsure whether she wanted to push him away or pull him closer, her veins feeling almost on fire as she bond with Demetrius snapped tight. Growling she pushed him away, a cry escaping her lips as his teeth were torn free, her body shaking from the shock of someone other than her master having fed from her. Dwayne watched in interest as her body began to convulse, folding into itself as the blood flowed freely down her shoulder and onto her already stained shirt. Chuckling softly he nudged her side with the toe of his boot, smiling as he realized that she had stopped moving, her heart beat so sluggish for him to pick up even in the close proximity. He shrugged as he stepped back, wiping the back of his sleeve across his lips as he looked down at her.
“So much for that piece of shit theory.” He chuckled turning to walk back towards the front of the cave when her hand shot out, curling around his ankle as she attempted to right herself. Dwayne’s eyes grew wide in shock as she reached up to touch the wounds on her neck, the skin already beginning to heal itself before his eyes, her fingers smeared with blood.
