Fight

Okay, I have two things going through my head right now; One- the first few lines from 'The Vampire Club' by Voltaire(Oh My Goth!)[which include "The moon was full and the colour of blood/the night the pirates came to the Vampire Club./Their leader was tall and snide and slim,/He looked like a gay Captain Morgan.]; And two- That very last scene in PotC where Jack snaps the compass shut (Oh Gods! I love the look he has there...)and sings "Drink up me 'earties, yo ho!".

Pookie: *patpat* Don't worry, their safe now... Well, as safe as you can be on the Pearl, I suppose...

Sandrine Black: I have a few things planned for Jack, lots of emotional stuff though... I swear, one day I ~will~ write a happy and fluffy fic... Maybe... Give me a challenge, and I'll try. ;)

Nita: *huggles and hot soup* Get well soon!

Raz Gaiale: Since when do I mess with your heads!? Oh, wait... Nevermind...

angeluspoet: Thanks! Don't worry about pushing or anything like that. I tend to update quickly anyway.

Earen: *slowly removes sugar and caffine... and any sharp objects* Don't worry, those slavers will get what's coming to 'em, curtesy of Captain Jack Sparrow.

Datiye: *sticks out tongue* Well I still think my writing sucks, so there. But you're the ones reading it, so hey! I guess it's not all bad. I've written a few LotR things, most are at FF.net. I'm really an Elf-slash kinda gal, so one of the twins/L is my other specialty.

Jessica: Enthusiastic, are we? LOL, more here. ;)

Mei Lang: Heh. I like depressed emotionally painful endi may maybe I can get someone to cry. But All three get posted, the happy one first.

Throughout lunch, Jack told a few stories, prefering not to exagerate them for once. He went as far as slinging an arm over Will's shoulder just to annoy Anamaria. The woman had glared almost constantly at Jack, which seemed to have the effect opposite of what she wanted.

After a little while, Will sighed. "Will you two stop it?"

"Stop what, lad?" Jack tried his best to sound clueless [A/N: I priginally had 'innocent' there, but then remembered that this was Jack ;). Okay, shutting up now.].

Will slipped away from Jack's arm, "You can stop doing that," he turned to face the now grinning Anamaria; "And you can stop glaring at him."

Anamaria frowned, "Will, I-"

"No! Ana, listen to me," even Jack had tensed, unsure if he should step in or not. Anamaria was taken back, not having seen Will's anger directed at her before. "You have no reason to distrust Jack. Without him, we not only would we still be slaves, but we would have been separated. We both owe him."

Jack managed to hide his smug look as soon as he saw Anamaria's eyes flash with something akin to rage. For a second, he wondered if she was going to hit Will. Just about to put himself in between the two, Jack jumped out of the way when Anamaria picked up a half-empty rum bottle and threw it against the wall before storming out.

"Hey!" starting to go after the woman, Jack stopped when Will fell into the chair he had been using. The captain idly wondered why he didn't notice when they had stood, or when his arm slid from Will's shoulder.

He knelt next to Will's chair, "William?"

Will shook his head, looking slightly lost. "I don't understand... She should be glad we're here."

Jack smiled gently, "S'alright, lad. You just need t' cool off. Give it a few hours, and she'll be good as new."

Will smiled wryly, "You don't know Ana."

Gibbs watched with confusion as Anamaria paced the length of the galley and to the bunks, glaring the entire time. He had first assumed she had come to help him get the rest of below-deck cleaning done while there was still light reaching the bowels of the ship. Now, though, rather than even offering her aid, the woman paced.

"What happened, lass?"

"Will's bein' an idiot."

Gibbs raised an eyebrow, "How so?"

Finally, Anamaria sat on the edge of a bunk and looked almost like she was pouting. "He just is."

It was nearly dusk when Jack ordered the anchor to be dropped for the night. The crew already starting below deck for dinner when Gibbs informed them that it was being set out. The old sailor found Jack just leaving the wheel, starting towards the only crew member that didn't follow the others.

"Cap'n," Gibbs called softly. Jack glanced at Will but walked over to his friend. "I didn't think it wise t' let the two together 'til they've cooled. I guess ye be takin' the lad wit' ye?"

Jack nodded, "You're right on that, mate. Th' two 'ad a spat, an' I think it was a first for 'em both. Whatever is Will's, 'ave it brought t' my cabin. I'll talk t' th' lad. Savvy?"

Gibbs nodded, "Aye. An' I'll have some dinner for ye both brought t' the captain's galley."

Jack smiled, "My thanks, Gibbs."

The older mailediled and left, returning to the stairwell that he had come from only moments ago. Jack continued to Will; the latter was leaning against a barrel as he watched the thin line of distant land. Jack had predicted that they'd be out of the straights and to open sea by noon tomorrow.

"Will," Jack placed a hand on the young man's shoulder. "You'll be dinin' with me, t'night lad."

Will looked up and Jack smiled. "An' you can have my cabin, at least 'til all this mess is settled."

The captain grinned at thft 'ft 'thank you' he heard from the lad that followed him.
