Chapter
Seven: Chasity’s “Guest” and Rumors
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
After Jack
found out that Chasity had tricked him into coming on her ship, Francisca and
Abigail asked, “Should we lock him in the brig, Captain?”style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“No.
Mr. Sparrow is my guest, not my prisoner. We’ll share my quarters.
Make sure he’s properly attired,” replied Chasity.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Aye,
Captain,” they said with a smirk, knowing what she was talking about.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
**style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
In the
Captain’s Quarters, Abigail and Francisca easily stripped Jack and using four
lengths of rope, tied him to Chasity’s bed. Their work being done, they
left.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
I wonder what
me crew is doing, thought Jack. Are they looking for me?
Where’s the
Jack still couldn’t recall where his ship had been docked. Jack
didn’t have long to ponder this before Chasity entered.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
**style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
Back on the
Black
Pearl, Anamaria and Elizabeth found Will and Gibbs.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Any news?”
asked.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“The
patrons at the Tavern of the Faithful Bride haven’t seen him since the day he
disappeared,” said Will.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Did you
find out anything?” asked Gibbs.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Yes.
An old man by the docks said he saw Jack and three women board a ship with red
s wit with black stripes on it,” answered Elizabeth.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>Athena’s Jewelstyle='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>?” asked Gibbs in
disbelief.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Aye,” said
Anamaria.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
Gibbs
looked like Anamaria had told him Jack was dead.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“What’s style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>Athena’s Jewelstyle='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>?” asked Will.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“You tell
them, Anamaria. You used to be Captain Sinclair’s first mate,” muttered
Gibbs.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“All right.
There’s rumors going around that Captain Chasity Sinclair rounds up men, brings
them on her ship, and tortures them until they go insane,” said Anamaria.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“They’re
more than just rumors, aren’t they?” Elizabeth asked.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Aye.
At first, the men are willing, sometimes, because she doesn’t tell them the
whole truth. Captain Sinclair tortures the men she “collects” as she
calls it, but what happens afterward, the rumor tellers don’t know. After
she tortures the men she fornicates with them. Like I said, sometimes
they’re willing, sometimes they’re not,” replied Anamaria.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Do you
think Jack was willing?” asked Will.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Well, if
there were three women probably not. If they’re willing, Chasity usually
gathered them up herself. But, the old man didn’t mention a struggle,
which would mean that he was going against his will,” answered Anamaria.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Maybe he
was tricked into going,” suggested Elizabeth. style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
**
“Did Abby
and Frankie make sure you were comfortable?” asked Chasity.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Not
particularly,” said Jack, trying to loosen the ropes around his wrists and
ankles.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“I wouldn’t
do that if I were you, mate,” commented Chasity.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Why not?”
asked Jack, still struggling.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Because
you’ll just hurt yourself more than what’s necessary,” answered Chasity.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
Jack
continued his attempt at loosening his bonds for a few seconds, until the ropes
started cut into his skin. Chasity was right. After scratching
Jack, Chasity got up, and crossed over to the small table and picked up a small
silver bowl. She lit a candle, and let the hot wax drip into the
bowl, and then she went back over to Jack, sat on his legs, and poured the
melted wax drop by drop over his scratches until the bowl was empty. style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
Jack made a
small whimper as the hot wax made contact with his skin. style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
Chasity
dropped the bowl on the floor and took off her clothes. Chasity got oe bee bed
and she dug her nails into his shoulders pulled herself on top of him. He
groaned in discomfort as blood slid down his chest aggravating his new burns.
He tried to pull away but the ropes held firm cutting into his skin.
"Now, now Jack you know you want to." she whispered seductively
in his ear. He tried to turn away but she grasped his head in her hands
and kissed him passionately. When he made no effort to return the gre
re
she punched him several times in the chest causing blood to spill from his
lips. He let his body go limp under hers and she had her way with him
proud that she had finally broken Jack Sparrow.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
**
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“I don’t
care if he was willing or not, we have to find him,” said Will.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Where do
you suppose we start? We have no idea which direction they was going,”
replied Anamaria.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Anamaria
has a point,” said Gibbs, “I want to find Jack too, but if we don’t know which
direction they went, then it’d be almost impossible to find them.”style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Let’s just
start looking in the towns Athena’s Jewel style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>is known for docking
in. You’d know, wouldn’t you, Anamaria?” asked Elizabeth.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Aye.
Let’s go to Kingston,” replied Anamaria.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
**style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
It took
three days to get from Tortuga to Kingston. Anamaria started asking
people if they’d seen Athena’s Jewel. style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>No one had.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“What now?”
asked Gibbs.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“We move
on. Athena’s Jewel docks in almost every harbor in the
Caribbean,” said Anamaria.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
**style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
<
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
A month had
passed, and still there was no sign of Jack or style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>Athena’s Jewel. style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Maybe we
should call it quits,” suggested Gibbs half-heartedly.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“No.
We can’t stop now. We have to find Jack,” said Will.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“We’ve
searched half the Caribbean. We’ll never find him in time, if it’s not
already too late,” argued Anamaria.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“I agree
with Will, we have to continue, until we find him,” said Elizabeth.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
**style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“I have a
job for you to do,” said Chasity, entering her cabin, “undress.”style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
Being on style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>Athena’s Jewel style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>for a month had started
to take its toll on Captain Jack Sparrow. He lost fifteen pounds
already, as he only ate a piece of bread at mealtimes and drank water. He
didn’t put up much resistance to her commands anymore, so of course, he did as
Chasity commanded, and undressed. Meanwhile, Chasity stood by the door,
and watched. Jack didn’t particularly like Chasity watching him
the way she did, but he wasn’t stupid enough to say so. When he was
finished, Chasity crossed over and stood in front of him.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“My deck’s
awfully dirty. Clean it,” she said, and shoved a wooden bucket full of
soapy water at him and a scrub brush.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
Jack took
the scrub brush and bucket and Chasity opened the door. The crew stopped
their work, and looked at Jack holding the bucket and scrub brush in front of
him, and Chasity standing behind him. Upon seeing the crew, Jack was
beginning to have second thoughts about scrubbing the deck naked.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Move,”
Chasity hissed, pushing him a little.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Girls,
Captain Jack will be scrubbing the deck. I want you all out of his way,
and you’re to let him know if he missed anything,” she spoke to the crew.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Start
scrubbing,” she ordered Jack.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
Jack
dropped to his hands and knees and started scrubbing the deck.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
**style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Why’d you
leave Athena’s Jewel if you were first mate?” Elizabeth asked
Anamaria as they were wandering the market area of Nassau Port.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“I didn’t
like the way Chasity treated men. I’ve seen plantation overseers treat
their slaves with more respect than Chasity Sinclair treats the men she
collects,” spat Anamaria.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“I had
planned to trade my little boat for a big ship and a crew of my own, until Jack
stole it,” she added.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Why’d you
stay on the Black Pearl?” asked Elizabeth, “if you wanted your own crew
and ship?”
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“I like the
way he captains. Chasity used to be just like him, then one day, she changed,”
replied Anamaria.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Have you
seen Jacarroarrow?” Elizabeth asked a woman passing by.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Have you
seen Athena’s
Jewel?” asked Anamaria.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
The woman
shook her head at Elizabeth and Anamaria.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
**style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Have you
seen Jack Sparrow?” Will asked an old man.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“No,” said
the old man.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Have you seen
Athena’s
Jewel?” Gibbs asked two young boys.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
The boys
shook their heads.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“Where are
they? They can’t have disappeared,” said Will.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“I know,”
answered Gibbs, “maybe we’re not looking hard enough.”style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
**style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
Scrubbing
deckdeck was harder than it looked. When Jack cleaned a spot, and moved
on to clean another, the crew dirtied the first spot up, and called, “You
missed a bit!”
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
So, while
Jack was recleaning the first spot, the crew would dirty up the second
spot, then Jack would have to clean that spot again, while they would dirty up
the first spot for a third time, and back and forth it would go, until the crew
decided to let Jack clean a third spot, then they’d begin again. style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
So, it took
quite a bit longer than if they’d just let him clean in peace, which was the
whole reason they were doing it in the first place, and they laughed at him,
since they found it extremely hilarious. All in all, it was a pretty
humiliating experience, which was Chasity’s plan.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>

“Have you
seen Athena’s
Jewel?” Will asked a middle aged couple.
style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
“My sister
wrote a couple days ago, and said she saw it in Crestview,” the woman said.style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:black'>
