Chapter 7 - Wedding in Black

Title: The Siren
Author: Hellborne (the_ferret_mom@yahoo.com)
Age Rating: 18+

Disclaimer: Characters, if you saw them in the movie, not mine. See the Mouse. Story, mine, but I make no money. He does, but not on this.

Typing convention: / is used for thoughts. * - * - * is used for scene changes and passages of time.

Summary: Will has been abducted by The Siren, a beautiful pirate captain with a crew of women. It's Jack's job to get him back, and he seems scared about it. Many surprises.

Warnings: H/C, angst, lemon, rape, Het.

Betas: The two greatest BetaGoddesses in the world, Pendragginink and Littlebird! You're both truly magnificent, and I wouldn't be able to write half as well without you!

Notes: Bittersweet: Idunno...it looked like a comment on my story...oh well. Don’t let fear keep you from publishing (or writing) a fic. Get a friend who also reads the PotC fan fictions to beta for you...then post it with an author’s note that it’s your first fic. Then, if you do get constructive criticism, remember a couple of things. First, this written medium of the Internet doesn’t allow for inflection of voice, so many things can be misinterpreted from criticism to flame. Believe me, I used to be accused of flaming people (back in the good old days of FidoNet) when I was actually meaning to discuss something rationally. It’s taken years to hone my writing skills to the point that I don’t sound like I’m flaming or yelling (without allcaps no less!)...and sometimes I STILL have problems with it. Second, look at the criticism and re-read your story. Are they right? Should a period go there, or is it better left a comma? See what I mean? We’re all here for YOU, the writer. Do it for your OWN enjoyment, then publish it for the enjoyment of others. Then get your first glowing review and realize how wonderful it is to get reviews... As for me being one of the best, the only way I can tell whether that’s true or not is through the reviews, and oddly enough, the two stories that I think are the best (“The Makings of a Pirate” and “And the Winds of Destiny...”) get the fewest number of reviews...which either means that “both” of my fans are reading them a LOT of times... or that there a re a lot of people out there that really don’t give a flip about them. I’m glad I could help with the bad mood...when I get into that kind of mood, I go cuddle my ferrets. You’re very sweet. But promise me that if/when you notice things, you WILL let me know!

Amanda: I will. I’m only a couple of chapters from where I want to end it...and finally, in chapter 9 the muse is getting happy. I might even be able to save Jack from them...they’ve been trying to kill him off all through chapter 8 and the first half of chapter 9. It was only last night that he came around (or didn’t anyone know that Jack makes a great muse?).

Littlebird: Actually, from my experience the authors that want constructive criticism and determine that they are really flames just don’t understand how to read the proper inflections from the reviews. Written medium is very hard to capture emotion, and a lot of time, any criticism CAN be read as a flame...so I go read what they’re talking about and figure out what they really meant. And if it’s still a flame, I giggle and go write some more... I promise to get back to Power of the Sparrow as quickly as I can churn this out...this muse has been bugging me the loudest, so it gets dealt with so I can dream up other stuff (literally). As for tormenting you, I must be a sadist for all the torture I put Jack through, so why not the readers as well? Angeline’s disease is not a fake. They wouldn’t have known about it by name back in the 18th century, but it’s actually acute myelogenic leukemia (see WebMD for entire list of symptoms...Angeline was lucky she didn’t get all of them). Re Jack’s collar. She took it off just before getting off the ship on the way to the ball. Sorry about that...I must have forgotten to write it down (or just skipped that part...could be). As for what has been nicknamed “ah heir and a spare”, you’ll have to wait for Chapter 9/10 on that one...I *DO* cover it though... And as usual, thanks so much!

Jackfan2: Don’t *STAY* at ease...believe me, just *DON’T*. (re: words of wisdom) That’s what I figured you meant...

Pendragginink: Hi Pendy! Yeah, Norrie’s a bit of a stiff bastard...a lovable stiff bastard... I’m voting for the last option... And yes, Norrie does have a thing for Angeline. Why do you think she was called “The Siren?” Hey! I don’t know if this chapter is 9 or both 9/10...it just keeps growing...like kudzu. I might have to split it.

A/N: This chapter was written during our homeless phase, with my depressed muse going rabid. However, we've gotten all six of the remaining ferrets out of the shelter (I've lost weight on this one...the $210.00 it cost to get them home had been slated to go for food throughout this time). So hit the REVIEW button to make me feel better so that maybe the muse will cheer up and give me some happy plots! Remember, I want your HONEST opinion of the story...good, bad or ugly, I love the reviews!

Chapter 7 - Wedding in Black

Elizabeth's gown was magnificent despite having only a week to have it made. Lord Markham had insisted on the impossibly fast engagement due to his sister's condition. As it was, due to her insistence, Angeline would be lying on a cot to the side of the pews, barely able to move. She knew she was slipping fast, but she wanted to see her brother married before he could run away.

Jack looked completely stunning in the clothes chosen for him by his best man. /James was right. Black truly IS my color. And it'll be good for tonight's plans as well./ He went to where Angeline was. "Angel my love, are you sure you want to go through with this?"

When she spoke, her voice was so weak that Jack wanted to weep. "Yes, baby brother. You just take care of your bride and the Markham heir. If our positions were reversed, you know that it would be the same."

He leaned down to gently kiss her on the cheek. "I know. I just can't help but wish they WERE reversed."

"No, Jackie. Just be happy with your Elizabeth." Jack nodded.

Commodore Norrington walked up and put a hand on Jack's good shoulder. "Everything is ready. Time to go." He bent down to Angeline, and kissed her gently on the forehead. "You are the bravest woman I have ever met, Lady Markham. And one of the most beautiful." He left with Jack.

Jack and James stood with the minister as the music started. Elizabeth, her father and her entourage entered the hall and proceeded down the aisle. The hall was filled with all of the Port Royal aristocracy, and was decorated in black and white, per the groom's orders.

"We are gathered together..." Jack's mind was drifting. All he wanted was for his life to be back to normal: just him and his Pearl and the freedom of the sea.

"Is there any among you..." Elizabeth was close to tears. She wanted so much to marry Will and Will alone, but Jack needed her and gave her a way to be with Will anyway.

A voice rang out from the back of the church. "I object to this marriage on the grounds that the bride does not love the groom! She loves me!" All eyes turned.

Jack turned and stared. "Bloody stupid Will."

Elizabeth stood wide-eyed as Will ran to the wedding party. As he neared, she whispered, "not now, Will. We'll explain it all later!"

"No. You cannot marry this man."

James took him by the shoulder, pinching it, guiding him out of the hall, whispering, "You shall have Elizabeth in less than a year. Please do not ask questions until after the ceremony. Now go wait at the docks near the Rapier, but do not be seen." He pushed him to get him moving. Norrington then returned and the ceremony continued without further ado.

Will waited near the docks, watching the soldiers move powder and supplies onto the Rapier. About an hour later, he saw Elizabeth, James, and Elizabeth's new husband walking slowly to the ship; two men bringing up the rear with a woman on a stretcher and her nurse. Then he got a good look at the woman on the stretcher. /Angeline? She looks so much older! What happened?!/

James moved slightly away from the dock. "Mr. Turner, you may come out now."

Will moved from his hiding place to join Norrington. "What happened to the lady on the stretcher? I saw her only a few weeks ago and she was so different."

"She is dying, Mr. Turner. Come with me and I'll explain." He turned and walked toward the Rapier, following the rest of the party onboard. Will trailed him closely up the gangplank.

"But Jack, should we not wait until we can do this properly on land?"

"Elizabeth, There is no place on land to do this properly in my own opinion. Commodore Norrington himself has given us his cabin for the trip, and my sister wants the proof even more than decorum demands it. And as she won't be with us much longer, I intend on honoring her request." He kicked off his shoes and removed his stockings. "Besides, don't you want to get this over with so that you can be with young William?"

Elizabeth was almost in tears. "I should never have agreed to do this!"

Jack moved close, taking her gently by the shoulders and looking her deeply in the eyes. "Elizabeth, I would never have chosen you had I not wished you to be the mother of my heir, nor would I have chosen you had I not had some feelings in the matter. Truth to tell, I've wanted you since we were marooned together. But you knew that. And I know you've had some feelings for me since we met."

"Yes, but not love."

"No, not love. But feelings of a kind that you wanted a pirate's life spared no matter what he may have done. And that was before you even knew my name."

"That was at a time when I looked at pirates romantically...as a child. I've grown up since then, Jack."

"Yes, Elizabeth, you have. You are in love, yet you chose to marry your station instead." She opened her mouth to speak. "Don't bother saying it, Elizabeth. I know that having my heir is a means to Will Turner. As I said so long ago, shortly after we met in fact, we're peas in a pod, love." He walked her to the bed and sat her down.

"I don't think I can go through with this."

"Yes you can, love. And you're allowed to enjoy yourself as well."

"Enjoy myself with YOU?"

Jack grinned. "Well, I have been known to be gentle with the fairer sex." He sat on the bed next to her, helping her out of her dress. Then he leaned behind her and undid her corset. "Well, it looks like you've learned how to keep your corset loose enough to breathe now." He took that off of her as well and looked at her in her shift. "I do believe this is approximately what you were wearing when we met."

"Only after you removed the rest of my clothes in public."

"To save your life, love. Couldn't swim with that heavy dress you were wearing, and I had to make you breathe somehow." His eyes twinkled as his grin dissolved into a gentle smile. He removed his cravat and shirt and tossed them in the pile of clothes on the floor, the bandages hiding the many scars on his chest. As he started to lift her shift, he said, "you'll have to help with this one, darling." She sat there, stock-still. "Love, if ye don't lift yer arse, I'll have to do it for you."

"You wouldn't dare."

Jack grinned, surprised, an eyebrow lifted. "Oh wouldn't I?" He stood, picked her up under his good arm, and removed the rest of her clothes completely, grimacing at the pain in his bad shoulder as she screamed.

"How DARE you!"

"Pirate. And your husband." He set her back down on the bed and looked at her earnestly. "Love, trust me. Put up with ol' Jack for only a little while and the rest of your life will be champagne and paté with young Will Turner." He put a hand on her bare shoulder, gently pushing her onto her back.

"This is so hard, Jack."

"I know, love. But I promise you I'll be gentle." He removed his breeches, his flaccid manhood hanging limply between his legs. "As you can see, this isn't easy for me either, Elizabeth. You're my best friend's bonny lass. It's very hard to see past that, and the guilt keeps gnawing at me. I'll be quite lucky if we can consummate our marriage tonight."

Elizabeth was shocked. "But you're Captain Jack Sparrow! Your amorous exploits are famous throughout the Spanish Main!"

"Aye love, and they're not far gone from the truth this time. But I've never had to deal with guilt before, and if I may say so, it's a rather withering experience." Jack looked like he wanted to drop dead from embarrassment as he sat next to her on the bed.

"Oh, Jack. This must be terrible for you." She sat up and put an arm around him, gently stroking his bad shoulder with two fingers. She turned him toward her and kissed him sensuously on the lips, his mouth opening and his eyes widening in surprise. Elizabeth smiled in her kiss, and sent her tongue darting into his mouth, exploring his taste, tongue, and teeth, pushing him back gently and leaning with him till he was lying on the bed, her leaning over him, her breasts touching the bandages on his chest.

Jack pulled back from the kiss. "Love, is this truly you?" Jack was shocked by the transformation his new wife had just gone through.

"Yes, Jack. And I want to help you not feel guilty." She kissed him again, letting her lips and tongue gently trail down his chin and neck to his throat, where she lingered on his Adam's apple. She could see that Jack's member was just starting to come alive, and moved her mouth down below the bandages. She kissed his navel, wetting it with her tongue and blowing gently. "Such a shame you have those bandages." She bent lower, taking his almost limp member into her mouth and sucking gently, expertly licking around the tip.

"Elizabeth, is there something you haven't told William?"

She took her mouth off his organ for only a moment, her eyes twinkling. "Yes, Jack." She took his manhood again, sucking harder, the shock and the sensation of it all making him grow hard. When he moaned, she lifted her head, smiling. "See? You needn't feel guilty. Just feel ME." She moved her head to his balls, licking around and sucking on each one, her hand massaging his length, tickling the crown.

Jack gasped as she hit a sensitive spot below his sac. His manhood twitched in her hand. He gritted his teeth, pulled her up level with him, and rolled over, putting her on the bottom, ignoring the pain in his shoulder. "I won't tell William." She smiled as he lowered his mouth to her breast, his weak arm cupping her other breast, his index finger massaging the nipple.

Elizabeth moaned, pushing her hips up in her arousal. "Neither will I. Now take me, Jack. Please..." She squealed as he nipped her nipple and licked along the sensitive underside of her breast.

He moved his legs between her thighs, pushing them wide. "Are you not a virgin, then?"

"No, but I know you don't care, and I'd figure something out for Will if had come to that."

He frowned, then grinned. "Well, no worries, love. I'll take care of the evidence later." He started to position himself and found her hand taking his member and guiding it to her entrance.

"Take me hard, Jack."

Needing no further ado, Jack plunged into her hot womanhood, pulling back and plunging again and again, his head again dipping to her breast, nibbling, then sucking hard on her nipple. Elizabeth first moaned, then shrieked in her ecstasy, cumming around his member as he pounded into her. Grinning, Jack moved his weak arm between them to her womanhood and gently pulled the lips aside, massaging her clit. She squirmed, trying to get away; it was just too much for her. She screamed, cumming again and again from all the pleasure he gave her; her internal muscles massaging his organ till he couldn't take it anymore and came deep inside her, clenching her shoulder with hand and mouth, his other hand trapped between them, his shoulder burning in its ache.

They stayed in that position till the aftermath glow passed, and he rolled off of her, exhausted. "Love, I need ye to move. We must satisfy tradition y'know."

As she moved, he stood up and looked at the sheet, wet with the proof of their lovemaking, but clean of any virginal blood.

Jack moved to his breeches and took out a small dagger. "Love, I'll need you to help me with this." She moved closer. "I need you to take the bandage off my shoulder." She did, and he took the dagger in his left hand, making a cut in his bad shoulder deep enough to draw enough blood, which he smeared into the wet part of the sheet. After she put the bandage back on his shoulder, effectively hiding the wound, he smiled at her. "There. That'll satisfy both tradition AND my sister." He pulled on his breeches and took the sheet to the door, opening it enough to look out at the two witnesses.

Angeline was lying on a cot, watching the door, and James was sitting in a chair, watching Angeline and blushing. As the door opened, he turned to the door.

"Here, James." He handed the sheet out. "We'll be needing some clean bedclothes before we can sleep. These seem to be a bit soiled for a first night's sleep of a married couple." He walked over to his sister, bent over and kissed her cheek, a tear in his eye. "Angel, I'll always love you."

She smiled weakly. "And I you, baby brother. Forever. You just give us a Markham heir."

Jack repositioned her onto her back, folding her hands over her abdomen and holding them in place for a long moment before kissing them and returning to the cabin he and Elizabeth shared, closing the door behind him.
