chapter 7
chapter 7
When Joey woke, she found herself on a bed. She blinked her eyes, but they were still blurry.
"Well, well, you finally woke up." It was David's voice.
Joey gasped then shot straight up and off, but tripping over the chain that was hand cuffed to her leg.
“Where am I?” Joey asked.
“My cave.” replied David, walking up to her and grabbed her hand.
Joey flinched and pulled her hand away. "Why?"
David looked into her eyes. They were full of fear and anger that was starting to flare. he knew that bit was a matter of time before she would snap at him with her biting remarks. He sighed, "Because you are the first girl, in a long time that had put me off. That is why I want you. You put on an act, but you a strong. You are a survivor," he said pulling her closer to him.
“I know I don't know you that well,” he said holding her close and looking down into her bright green eyes, “but ever since I met you I can't keep myself away from you!” David knew exactly how he felt. She was the only person that could do this to him. That could bring him to his knees wanting more. Joey had another tear coming down from her eye. He lifted his hand and wiped it away. He stared strait into her eyes and then leaned down and kissed her. He had so much passion for her.
This was her first kiss, but she struggled. He freaked her out. And now she was pissed. Life had went down hill from the moment her parents died to her running away, and now this. Kidnapped, chained to a bed, and had a strange man kissing her against her will. Things didn't look good, but she was a fighter. Joey was bound determined to get out of this mess, and leave this hell hole and never look back. As David put his lips back to hers, she did not see them began to float upward as far as the chain on her right ankle would allow. Joey's mind raced. She had a chain on her ankle. He was kissing her, making her lose focus. A key. That's what she needed. A key. David would have it, so playing along, she began hesitantly, running her hands across his chest, feeling the pockets. David began to moan and kiss her harder. Joey's mind started panicking. As he put his hand on the back of her head. Joey out a yelp pain. David pulled away, and they floated back down to the ground. He pulled his hand away and looked down at his hand. Blood. David started to panic. He had to clean his hand off before something bad happened. He looked all around and then finally found a cloth. He cleaned his hand off and then got a bandage for Joey.
“Turn around.” David said. “This will only hurt for a second.” Joey thought about refusing at first, but then sighed and turned around. David carefully put the bandage to her gash and tapped it on. Joey turned back around to face him again. David started to crowd her toward the bed. Fear and fight rose up in Joey. Before she could think, David had pushed her down on the bed and was over her.
"Stop. Stop this," Joey tried begging.
"I can't. You are mine. You will belong to me."
As Joey fumbled for her knife, David had his shirt off, and was unbuttoning her blouse.
“David...David...DAVID!” the gang was back. David sat up and put his face in his hands. Without a notice David got up.
"God damnnit!" David swore. He had been so close. "Come on you guys. Come meet her I know your DIEING to.” he yelled out. With that said the whole gang came flying into the entrance of the cave. All of them were laughing and yelling David turned around to face Joey. She buttoned her shirt and looked around fearfully, squinting and blinking. David then remembered. Glasses. She wore glasses. With out them she could barely see. When he found her on the bench she had been trying to fix them. She was pretty with them, beautiful with out. Soon he'll fix that. That is if he could be alone with her. The boys will not harm her, if he says not to, but she apparently was not use to male company. David allowed a small grin. That meant she was a virgin. Lucky him.
The gang all fell in place behind him. David observed Joey silently making sure she wasn't too scared to meet the gang.
“Come here Joey," David motioned for her to come to him.
Joey paused, them walked forward and came to him. He introduced her into the gang one by one. “This is Paul, Dwayne, and Marco. Guys this is Joey."
They all looked at each other and laughed. They knew her already but they choose to keep their mouths shut.
“Now gentleman if you'll excuse us we are going to go on a little walk!” David went and pulled out a small key from his back pocket. Joey widen her eyes, as David grinned at her. He had knew what she had been looking for. He unlocked the chain and pulled her close. David held on tight to Joey and flew through the opening in the cave with her. David would do anything for a quick get-a-way.
Joey was stunned. She didn't know what was going on but she was going to get away as so as she could.
chapter
David took her back to the cliff. He didn't have any where else to go so he decided to take her there. The gang could find it but he highly doubted they would.
“I'm sorry.” he said in a small whisper.
“For what?” Joey asked looking bewildered.
“For this," David leaned forward but was interrupted when the gang showed up again. David pulled away as Joey shoved him. He kept a hand on her wrist.
“What're you doing here guys?” he asked coldly with anger.
“We gotta talk, man!” said Paul.
“Yeah, man. If your gonna get involved you gotta turn her.”
“You know I'm trying to, but you keep interfering. And that's the reason why your here isn't it?”
“Turn me to what? I don't understand!” Joey hissed.
“Hey. I'll turn her for you David, she's hot enough! You have always shared before, no need to get greedy now! ” Dwayne yelled at David. He moved toward Joey.
“Don't you touch her. You guys have done enough already. She's mine. No one else's. Now leave us alone and go back to the cave to eat your supper I'll be there in a while.”
“You better be. Cause you know what will happen if you aren't.” Paul gave David an evil look. “Come on you guys lets go eat!” they all flew off and left David and Joey by themselves.
“I do not belong to anyone, least of you! You better let me go. I just don't understand, David!” Joey started to pull away.
“Don't worry. You will understand soon.” he whispered pulling her closer.
“David please.”
“Just relax, and it won't hurt," David put his face into her neck and Joey tensed. She rushed into her pocket and pulled out the knife, snapped it open and slashed at his face. David pulled back surprised and let her go
Joey fell to the ground with a thud. Tears were streaming down her face. She shot back up and turned to run when he grabbed her arm. She spun around angrily and slashed the knife back at him.
" Let go of me you bastard! Let go!" With that she slashed a deep cut into his cheek. David and Joey froze. David brought a hand up to his face and touched his cheek. He stared at her in amazement.
Joey gasped as she saw the gash heal over. Both hands came up to her mouth as she whispered, "My God. What are you? You are not human."
David looked at the blood on his hand then at her. " You cut me."
Joey dropped her hands and looked squarely at him. With hate and fear in her half blind eyes and voice nodded," Yes. Yes I did, and do more if you come any closer."
David was now sure that she would be his. She was half blind and not aware of all that he could do. With an movement faster then the eye could follow, he came at her. He landed right on her. They hit the ground, knocking the wind out of Joey. All she could do was look up at him as he started unbuttoning her blouse.
Joey struggled as David sat on top of her. He looked down and sneered," I enjoy a good fight, But now I am beginning to lost pashinc with you, and that means I could end up hurting you."
Joey stilled.
"Better. Now this will hurt a little," as David leaned down, Joey found a rock and hit him over the head.
He grabbed his head as Joey took off into the words.
"Joelle! Joelle, come back!" David yelled.
Joey ran faster blindly, then tripped and fell. She rolled down a hill. As she stopped she looked up in front of her was a old shack. At least that's what it looked liked to her blurry eyes. Joey hurried inside and tripped over a lose broad. She looked down then up when she heard David call her name. "Joelle!" With out a seconded thought she pried the board up and slipped under the floor, pulling the board back in place.
David couldn't look her for her any longer. The sun was about to rise. She was tired, a human, lost, and half blind. She wouldn't get far. He'll look for her tomorrow night. So he flew back to the cave. When he got back to the cave he found it empty. He was happy. He needed some time to be alone. He was weak. He didn't want to leave Joey, but at the same time he wanted for her to run from him. He walked over to the end table that was sitting next to the couch. He bent down and pulled a jewel bottle out. It was filled with something red. Blood. David's blood. He thought long and hard about smashing it. He knew that that bottle had brought nothing good. But what if he needed it? He placed back into the end table. He wasn't going to smash it just yet.
When Joey woke, she found herself on a bed. She blinked her eyes, but they were still blurry.
"Well, well, you finally woke up." It was David's voice.
