Whisper Part 2

August 1776:
it was a typical warm day in the Caribbean and Sara was mending some of the sails for the pearl since she knew how to sew it wasn’t a difficult task, Sara grew accustomed to the crew and the crew instantly liked her since the first day she aboard the ship all except for Barbossa who in which was giving her a hard time and always tried to get her to stay with him in his cabin which never worked and Jack always came to Sara’s rescue but as usual Barbossa waltzed up to her and crouched down so he was looking at her directly in her face “So! Missy, ow are we’s this fine mornin?” Sara sat there and rolled her eyes at this grotesque man standing in front of her “What do ye what Barbossa?” she asked timidly “What Luv! A man can’t ask a woman how she is doin.” Sara just sat there and chuckled at this man for thinking that she’s a complete dolt “No, cause usually when a man approach’s a women that they know has no interest in them yet antagonizes them they usually don’t care how the women is doing but yet, has something that they want to inquire to the women and tries to make small talk to make the conversation more easier and hope that the women will be more comfortable and when they are sure that the woman is comfortable they just slide in what they really wanted to inquire, so Barbossa I shall ask you my question once more what is it that you want? Barbossa sat there and laughed at Sara’s comment “Ye have a sharp wit on ye missy ill grant ye that, alright ill tell ye what I want… I want ye for tha matter but I know if I touch you the Cap’n will have me head on a golden platter, but that’s not what im inquiring you for. I’ve noticed in yer whole two years on this ship that you are an impeccable sword fighter, and that your very quick on your toes, and I wanted to know if ye could teach me some moves to go against my opponents” Sara furrowed her eyebrows looking at him like he’s nuts “Why so ye can betray our Cap’n and overthrow his title, and then try to off me at the same time?” Barbossa was starting to get very irritated at Sara’s remarks and started yelling at her “YOU LISTEN HERE MISSY IM FIRST MATE ON TIS SHIP!! AND IF I ASK YE TO DO SOMETHING YE’LL DAMN WELL DO IT!!!!” and then was about to slap her in the face but when he raised his hand he noticed that she was gone from her previous seat and then suddenly felt his arm being twisted in a very painful manner and then heard a women’s voice giving him a soft low chuckle “Ye, know Barbossa ya think that since I am a women that ye’d frighten me, but what ye don’t realize is that I have been beaten since I was 16, my brother killed my family in front of me and killed my lover, and my baby, I’ve been raped, and I’ve been tortured down in a dungeon that was built in my basement by my father, my lover has cheated on me and beaten the shite out of me after finding out that our baby is dead and blamed it on me Oh! And don’t let me forget my brother TURNED ME INTO A BLOODY VAMPIRE!!!, so if you try to threaten me and make demands on me and try to frighten me I will have to be forced to have to sink my fangs into yer neck and drain ya dry cause I am a demon mate, I do have a dark side and trust me you don’t want to see my dark side” and then with one swift action Sara let go of Barbossa’s arm and shoved him into the mast and stalked off Barbossa is infuriated that this women made him look like a bloody fool and saw Jack standing there just chuckling over the whole scene “I told ya mate she’s a pistol, dun like bein threaten that one, She’s very sensitive about people threatnin her but I do agree if ye ever talk to her like that again I will have yer head on a platter Savvy? After that Jack stalked off back to his helm and Barbossa just went off sulking. It was late at night and Sara just finished cleaning the dishes after making the crew dinner, for some reason the crew loved her Sheppard’s Pie which would’ve been an insult to all the Irish women if you didn’t know how to make it properly, Sara decided to take a walk around the ship just thinking of things such as her past, Will, Maria, Liam she missed them and she wished she knew where Maria was it’s been so long since she saw her friend, and to be honest she wished she had a girl to talk to about stuff that only girls understand, it was hard being the only women on the ship and the only two people you completely trust were Jack and Bootstrap. Suddenly familiar voices of Jack’s crew were all huddled into a near by room talking about a plan, since Sara has amazing hearing she hid in the shadows to hear about what they were talking about but all she could make out was about a crazed Captain, and how he’s sending them to their deaths, and how this treasure they’re hunting for is false and that he should be mutinied, Sara’s heart dropped once she realized who they were talking about, they were talking about Jack and this made her worry so she ran out of her hiding spot and went to go find him. Sara finally found Jack in his cabin and literally ran in and practically slammed the door behind her causing Jack to almost fall off his seat, Jack quickly turned around and saw Sara’s terrified look on her face, he instantly run up to her giving her a worried confused look “Sara what’s wrong luv?” Sara had tears in her eyes and was completely terrified “Jack it’s the crew, I over heard them talking in the galley they’re talking of mutiny Jack, they want to send you away, or hurt you and take the Pearl!!” Sara said waving her hands all around “What the bloody ell are you smilin about?!?!” she demanded him when she saw that he had a goofy grin on his face “Because luv, yer worried about O’l Jack, but there’s one thing you forgot luv im Cap’n Jack Sparrow!” he said triumphantly “JACK! This isn’t a joke!! And yes I am worried about ye!! Yer me best friend mate! I lost everyone who’s ever mattered me and I don’t want to lose ye too!!” Jack looked deep into Sara’s eyes and saw that she was worried, even though it hurt him to know she still only thinks of Jack as a friend and nothing more, Sara hasn’t kissed Jack since the day she joined their crew and this really panged at Jack’s heart, she was too precious to him and this is what scared him, pirates weren’t supposed to be so infatuated with any women but their ship and Sara was cutting to close on this, there was so much about her that Jack was so intoxicated with, not only by her looks but by her mind she was witty, smart, friendly, non judgmental, she showed so much compassion after all the hell she’s been through it never got to her personality, it also amazed him that every time they would hit a port she would automatically go patrolling for demons to go save people, she was becoming infamous to demons and Jack would worry that there was a possibility that a demon would do her in one day, in fact Jack and Sara would argue when ever he saw her come in with a broken rib, or if she was soaked in her own blood it used to infuriate Jack when he saw her like this and would demand that she wouldn’t do this anymore but then suddenly she would automatically heal and act like if nothing happened, she would keep going out fighting and tell Jack that this was her destiny and that she has to do this, but all Jack wanted to say was that her destiny was with him but he’d never say that to her, Jack wouldn’t even admit it to himself it was everything he was against he shouldn’t be having feelings for this women, yet she was kind yet dangerous which attracted him more to her, while Jack was deep in thought, Sara then suddenly cut into his thoughts “JACK!! HELLO?!? YA THERE MATE?!?!” Sara said snapping her fingers in front of his face which knocked him out of his trance, Jack slowly smirked and grabbed Sara’s wrist and yanked her so close to him that she can practically smell the rum in his breath “Sara you have no need worryin about me luv, I can handle meself and they’d not dare mutinied me cause they cannot find the island without my headings savvy?” Sara nodded and looked down still worried that she’s going to loose her best friend and then she pulled her wrist out of Jack’s grasp and stepped back and looked at him “Well I hope ye know what yer doin Cap’n, I shall leave ya to yer thoughts now I really should get some rest” as she turned around to walk out of Jack’s cabin he ran up ahead of her and slammed the door shut with his back so she cant get passed him “What’s the rush luv?, why ye such in a hurry to leave o’l Jack? You always stay here with me, I don think I can sleep with out ya here” Jack said giving her a sardonic smirk, Sara just shook her head and had emptiness in her eyes “Jack please move from that door, before I have to force you away from it myself” Jack looked at her in shock that she would literally move him away from the door “Sara, im going to be careful, ye don’t need to be actin this way” he tired to rationalize with her but she just wouldn’t give in “Jack, I’ve lost to much in my life not to take chances and I dun want ta be ere when they prove ye wrong” Jack gave her a sad, and disappointed look and slowly moved away from the door and watched the women he cares so much for walk out of his room leaving him to sleep alone for the first time since she came into his life. Sara stalked off into bootstraps cabin and slamming the door behind her mutter curses about their captain, as she plummeted herself onto the bed across from bootstrap, Bill looked at her in surprise that she’s not with Jack and figured that Jack did something to obviously make Sara very angry at him “So what did he do?” Bill asked now sitting at the edge of his bed “Being a bloody incompetent idiot, who deserves what ever happens to him, that bloody wanker!” Bill started laughing “That bad eh? What happened to get ye to think of our Cap’n this way?” Bill asked more interested now about why the girl across from him is so irritated “Bootstrap, I overheard the crew talking of mutiny and I went to tell Jack about it and he’s not even phased about it, they talked about killing him or leaving him on an island to die!, and he just tells me not to worry!” she then suddenly took her pillow off the bed and screamed into it, getting all of her frustration out, Bill nodded his head and sort of chuckled knowing that sometimes Jack actually thinks he is invisible and then sat right next to Sara who was now rubbing her temples and put an arm around her and told her everything will be alright then they heard a knock on the door, but Sara and Bill just sat there until Bill yelled “come in!” suddenly the door opens and Jack enters the room noticing the scene that’s happening in front of him which was Bill having his around Sara’s shoulder and her head resting on his now “Ah I see I came in at a bad time” Jack said gritting his teeth wanting to rip Bills arm off of Sara until Bill got up quickly and yelled “No!, Jack you didn’t intrude at all we were just talking about what Sara over heard” and then quickly looked at Sara who was now looking gloomily down at the floor, Jack slowly nodded his head and Sat on Bill’s bed crossing his arms around his chest and just sat there and stared at Sara, Jack and Sara barely fought but when they did they always managed to mend things, but Jack knew that she was very angry at him this time and he needed to do something to make things better between them “Sara will you look at me?” he asked like a little kid who thinks they’re parent is angry at them, Sara slowly looked up into his eyes and Jack instantly noticed that she had tears brimming her eyes and then bent down on his knees to have his face leveled to hers “Yer really worried aren’t ye luv?” Sara nodded her head and Jack opened his arms for her to lean in so he can embrace her, as soon as she did she just allowed the tears to pour out, suddenly Jack pulled her off the bed and then sitting himself on the floor and placing her on his lap whispering in her ear and stroking her hair holding her tight against her waist “Shhh Sara, everything will be fine luv, I promise I wont let anything appen savvy, no more tears now, you know how o’l Jack hates to see his favorite crew mate cry hmm? Now come on let’s go back to me cabin and get some sleep ok?” Jack brushed some hair away from her face and turned her face to look at him, she slowly nodded and then Jack got up and picked her up bridal style back to his Cabin, as they enter the room he placed her onto his bed and then sat on the edge taking his boots, his hat, and his effects off and then rested himself against her noticing that she instantly fell asleep, Jack then draped an arm around her waist and pulled her towards him and propped his head up by his hand and start to rub her sides while she was in deep slumber and started to whisper in her ear “don’t worry luv, I wont let anything appen to me savvy?, I love ye and ill be damned that they would ever try to separate us” and then Jack gently kissed her head, knowing that when she’s asleep she’s gone from the world and then fell asleep instantly as well.
