Hell_on_earth: Indeed, felt like it was time to say ‘Bubbye’ to her hehe.
Sunset20: Yep, she certainly did, was just a matter of when and where really.
Chapter 7: Tension
The silence lasted, before Will spoke softly, high toned, “Jack…”
Jack frowned, “Not now William, let me do this for you”
Stepping to Barbossa, he glared, “Well, Hector?”
Defeated, the elder pirate nodded, “Aye, ye have yer way Jack”
With them gone, again Will tried, “Jaaaack”
Jack frowned again, turning to look at the blacksmith, “What is it Wi..”
His eyes widened as he saw Davy Jones, his sword pressed against Will’s chest, “Say goodbye ta him Jack”
Jack drew his gun as fast as he could, but not fast enough as the cursed captain drove his sword through Will’s heart, causing the youth to gasp and sink to the floor.
Davy Jones laughed, “Do ye fear death, boy?”, but he was pushed aside by Bill Turner, who looked at Jack, “Only one way!”
Jack frowned, moving swiftly to Will, “Come on William, I’ll be a mess without you…You’re turning me into such a good man, haven’t even done good pirating and hardly drink as much rum…You can’t die on me now.”
As the fight between Davy and Will’s father went on, the latter cursed under his breath, “Damnit Jack! Stop wasting time!”
As if just now remembering what he was supposed to do, he laid bare the heart, and gave Will a dagger, “Pierce it…if you don’t, you’ll die.”
His father’s voice made Will look to the heart, then to Jack as he lay, gasping in pain, Jack cradled him, “Do it William, I can’t lose you”
His eyes opened wide, and with his very last breath, he drove the dagger into the heart of Davy Jones.
Jack smoothed back the youth’s hair, “Come on Will, you’ve lived through worse.”
He pondered, “Okay, so maybe you haven’t…But you’re not supposed to die now!”
He was forced away by the crew, lead by Bill Turner, who all fell into a repeated chant, “Part of the ship, part of the crew, part of the ship…part of the crew”
As Jack tried to force his way in their circle, he watched a dagger being raised upwards to the sky, before being plunged down.
He sat there, unable to move, yet knew he should…
Bill had promised, Will would live.
Quickly getting to his feet he grabbed a sail, make shifting it into a parachute, crashing unto the deck of the Pearl…He looked behind him, the flying Dutchmen had disappeared.
He frowned, continuing to watch…
And indeed, the ship shot up from the sea, his lover standing at the bow.
Jack smiled, even though he didn’t quite like the large scar forming on the youth’s chest….But, Will looked happy, strangely serene, smiling as he inclined his head to the pirate.
Swinging over to the Dutchmen, Jack kissed Will most passionately, “I was afraid I’d lost you”
A throat being cleared distracted him, and he smiled cheekily as he looked at Will’s father, then kissed Will again, “Don’t scare me like that William!”
Will smiled, pushing Jack back against the mast, ravishing his mouth with a newfound boldness that sent shivers down the elder’s spine.
As Will drew back, leaving the elder breathless, he smiled, opening his mouth to speak..
“Captain Turner!”
Frowning, he looked up, “Aye?!”
Bill approached him, “Do we have a heading? Ye know he can’t stay aboard, 10 years William, go spend the one day, say yer goodbyes”
TBC…
