chapter 9
They awoke the next morning, yawning, and smiling that the other was still there.
They stood and got dressed, the then, once clothed, walked to each other, enveloped arms, and met in a passionate kiss.
Jack leant her backwards slightly over his arm as he deepened the kiss.
When they finally pulled away he smiled at her, reaching onto the table, retrieving his hat,
She could feel his erection on her stomach, one he would regret greatly for not doing anything about, as he leaned back, placing the hat on top of her head.
He studied her with it on and smiled, leading her out the door
2 of the crew who stood at the rear of the black pearl turned as they emerged into the air.
They turned their heads to the pair and cheered to jack, who blushed slightly
William turned from the wheel and looked at the two...blushing as well.
'Well then...will ye be staying?...or leaving?' jack asked her wincing carefully as he spoke the last part and she sighed.
'I must be off.... Give me a day at least afore ye come chasing after me ship again’ she smiled,
Jack looked at her, hiding the fresh wound
'If that’s how ye want it...' he accepted, forcing a smile and she leaned in, kissing him sweetly, not caring about the catcalls the crew were shouting.
Their lips parted and jack smiled, gathering all the courage he could to walk away from her.
Without thinking he swung back to the pearl, and will, noticing Jacqueline made no attempt to follow, placed his hand on jacks forlorn shoulder,
Jack ran his palm along the wheel of the k pek pearl and sighed, feeling the snapping of the tow cables behind him,.
He looked to the front of the black pearl, the one love of his life, and was amazed to find himself considering jumping from her rails and climbing onto the red tides deck
He knew he couldn’t do that anyway, and sighed, the last thing he heard as she slowly turned her ship around to go east, opposite of the pearls western course, was her soft voice, singing over the waves
'And really bad eggs'
Jack smiled deeply, humming to himself.
He finished 2 more verses in his head before turning the wheel roughly
The crew scrambled for holds as they watched jack turn the boat nearly on its side, doing a full turnaround in the water.
'What’s in yer head jack?!' will cried out as the boat slowly began to settle again
'Were going after `er' he smiled brightly, cracking his neck
'But what about Tortuga?'
Jack looked out into the horizon...she had a good head start..but the pearl eventually would gain on her.
Jack grinned in excitement; the chase always was the fun part
'Not without my hat'
