Chapter Nine: Back and forth again
“I...I didn’t...”
“Yeah. Obviously not.” Sands turned around and started setting up his things.
Liljana labelled the look on his face as ‘shock’ when she came up behind him and kissed his neck in an imitation of what he did earlier. “What are we doing?” She whispered.
Sands turned around, “I don’t know...I don’t care...I just know that I really want you.” He leant down and claimed her lips. “I can’t help it.”
“I hate you.”
“I hate you, too.” Sands lifted Liljana up and sat her on the bench, standing between her legs. He pushed her long skirt up past her knees, pulling her to the edge of the bench. Liljana let his hands work their magic as his mouth attacked hers. Her body writhing on the bench at what he was doing to her, the feelings he was provoking.
Sands swallowed her moans and sighs as she climaxed.
“Can you come to my house, tonight?” She asked breathily.
“Yes.”
“At ten o’clock, wait at my back door. I’ll let you in and we’ll have to sneak upstairs.”
Sands grinned.

Liljana lay on her bed, winding the phone cord around her fingers as she spoke to Naomi; “I guess he has a point. No offence, Honey.”
“It’s okay. I didn’t really think about it before I opened my mouth and yelled. I was just so...”
“Jealous?”
“No.”
“Shocked?”
“No.
“Hurt?”
There was silence for a moment before Liljana sighed, “Yeah. I guess. I just hope Dave doesn’t find out.”
“Stop worrying. I’m the only person you’ve told and he’s sure as hell not going to hear it from me.”
“Okay! I’m stopping worrying right now...right this instant...any day now...”
Liljana heard Naomi sigh, “Everything happens for a reason and works out for the best, Lil. Trust that.”

When her parents had gone to bed, Liljana tiptoed through the house to the kitchen and unlocked the back door. She saw Sands leaning against the wall, “Come in.” she whispered, holding the door open for him. He took his shoes off as Liljana locked the door again. She took his hand and smiled before motioning for him to be quiet and leading him through the house to her room. They snuck past her parents room, shutting and locking her bedroom door behind them.
Liljana turned on the lamp beside her bed and suddenly felt very underdressed in her spaghetti top, boxer shorts and thin dressing gown. She turned to face Sands who stalked towards her, almost like she were his prey. Liljana’s breathing picked up even before he reached her.
Their lips met passionately, Liljana’s hands going straight to his shirt, unbuttoning it and throwing it on the floor. Her dressing gown followed before Sands picked her up and laid her out on the bed, her hair fanning , her skin flushed, her breasts rising and falling to a silent beat. Liljana watched as Sands shed his jeans and knelt on the bed at her feet in just his boxers. He crawled up her body, never breaking eye contact. “You’re amazing.” Liljana blushed even more and looked down for a second before meeting his eyes again. He brushed a strand of hair away from her face before leaning down and seeking out her mouth, continuing to show her a big slice of heaven.

Liljana had had a smile on her face all day. Her mom had been giving her funny looks before she went to college and Liljana noticed she was still giving her the same looks at dinner.
“Mom, is everything okay?”
“Yes, Dear. Everything is fine.”
“Right.”
After dinner, Dave and Liljana sat watching the news while her Mom washed up. Halfway through the news, Liljana’s Mom came into the lounge and turned off the television, sitting on the coffee table, in front of them.
“Mom?”
“Now, I want to talk to you kids for a moment. There’s no need to get embarrassed, but...do you think you two could keep the noise down when you’re...you know.”
“Mom!”
“Well, I couldn’t get to sleep for hours, last night.” ‘Oh s.hit. Oh God. He’s going to know. No. No. No. Fu.ck! This isn’t happening.’ “And, well, Dave...I didn’t realise you were quite so...uh...well...” Her mom blushed and Liljana followed, Dave tagging along on the end.
“Mrs Smith, I wasn’t even here last night.” He put in, looking between Liljana and her mother, confused.
“Oh?” Mrs Smith looked at Liljana questioningly.
“I never realised just how explicit ‘Arizona Dream’ was...” She smiled and tried to keep her eyes wide open. She saw Dave look away from her, “I’ll keep the volume down, next time.”
“Yes, you do that. Sorry about that, Dave...” Mrs Smith got up and left, embarrassed for both her self, Liljana and Dave.
Dave was quiet for a long time, “Dave?”
“You would tell me, wouldn’t you? You would tell me if you were cheating on me.”
“Of course!” Liljana’s heart sank.
“Look me in the eyes and promise me, Lil.”
She looked into his eyes, trying her best to hold back tears that she knew wanted to escape and said, “I promise.”
