Endearment

Just an A/N to say THANKYOU for everyone who has reviewed, i really appreciate it!!

And I just want to say that PirateDiva is the best!
If it wasn't for her then I probably wouldn't be writing this, and she has given me alot of pointers on where to go!!!
SHES BRILLIANT!!!!!

******Also; Just to clear up your quiery Ziva (and I'm glad you have asked so that you can understand the story :-))

Elizabeth and Will did indeed get married on the ship.
Because her father and various others did not approve of this, they got hitched whilst they were on the run, and boarded a Ship heading for India.

Jack had not seen lizzie or Will in two years...(but with lizzie being with Arafat for 6 months, this means that for 1 year and a half Lizzie was obviously back at Port Royal, trying to get on with her life with Will....

(this sounds slightly weird but i did have a background story prepared just incase of the eventuality of someone or many of you getting confused lol ...And if you think about it, getting married on a ship sounds like the kind of thing Lizzie would do...she seemed more at home on the water)

I hope I have cleared up any of your confusion!
If not, just let me know!!!!

I hope you enjoy this next chapter!!!!****

Chapter Eight:

' Such sad Eyes.
Take courage Now.
Realize.
When this world makes you crazy,
and you've taken all you can bare.
Just call me up,
because you know I'll be there'

- 'True colours' by Phil Collins

Jack and Elizabeth walked the empty streets.

It was early morning and they were both exhausted.
Jack was pissed off that his crew had gone off and left him there...and there was a pain in his ass that was now officially tagging along for the ride.

Jack had not told her about what Arafat had made him decide.
At the end of the day, she did not need to know.
She knew who he was, and there was no need for her to change her mind and think that there was more good in him than she originally thought.

No, that secret would go with him to the grave.

"Are you sure you didn't see anything attack those guards?" He asked her, pointing with his handcuffs to take a left, down a back street.

Elizabeth shook her head.

"There was nothing there." She told him. "It was almost as if they were being choked by air itself"

Jack pondered on that for a minute. "If they choked on thin air, then why didn't we?"

She had no answer for that.

Jack stopped suddenly.
Elizabeth walked right into the back of him.

Looking disgruntled, she glared at him.

Jack ignored it and looked infront of him.
His ship!

A smirk rising upon his face, he picked up as much pace as he could as he began walking again.

Elizabeth looked at the ship in the distance.
Something within her froze.

Ship.
Water.
Going under...
Drowning...

She closed her eyes and willed the images to go away.

Will appeared there instead.

There was not a day that went by when she did not think about her husband.
She wore the ring on her finger proudly, and she would never take it off, not for anyone.

He was her everything...and yet he was everything that she never got to explore.
Torn apart on a wedding night...

She blinked back tears, and focused upon her surroundings.
To her horror she found that the ship was extremely close to her...and herself and Jack would be ready to board at any moment.

"Excited?" Jack asked her with a smirk.

"Why would I be?" She asked him curiously. "Are you?"

"Yes" He answered simply.

"Why?"

"Because I'm home"

"And then what happened?"

"There were around 30 guards surrounding us! They ran towards me, and thats when I drew my sword and started fighting. The battle lasted for about an hour and a half, and ol' Whats-her-face over there was no help because she was out cold! So...I found myself surrounded...."

The crew looked at him in awe.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes.

She was all too aware of Jack's tall tales...they sounded very enthralling...but 99% of them were embelished with lies.

She stood by herself at starboad on the ship, watching the wave gently lap at the ship.

Jack had insisted that the crew set sail for a less dangerous part of the country...for fear of those guards coming after him again.

She didn't blame him.
He took one hell of a beating.

She knew he was a fighter, so she didn't understand why he let them beat him so fiercly...the Jack Sparrow she knew would have held his own in a fight.

The wind blew her hair around her face.
The blue Sahri she still wore seemed to be blowing elegantly against her body, showing off her curves.

She felt like a Princess who had just been rescued from a Castle by an unlikely hero.

She heard the crew's voices die down as they got back to work.

She looked over her shoulder to the otherside of the ship, to see Jack standing there and admiring the magnificent sunrise over a beautiful country.

He was not wearing his Sahri anymore.

'Pitty...' She thought, smirking to herself when she remembered the image of him standing there with a sword in hand, whilst wearing a fuscia coloured Sahri.

His normal Pirate attire was back.

Only now he did not walk like he used to.
His leg was still damaged, and his face was covered with a few purpling bruises.

She admired him for a moment.
Like herself, he seemed to be deep in thought.
She often watched the sunrise from her balcony. Watched the ripples change colour in the sky and wish that she could see sunrises like that back in Port Royal.

She slowly walked from one side of the ship, to the side that Jack was on.

He knew she was behind him.

"Did you see many of these?" He asked her.

She knew exactly what he was talking about.

Leaned against the railing of the ship, looking at the deep red sunrise.

"Everyday" She said simply. "It made me keep my hope. I thought that if I watched the sunrise everyday, then it would be another day that I have lived to be rescued"

Jack smirked.
"Some rescue"

She laughed slightly.
"Well...with you nothing ever runs smoothly"

"That's why I'm such a good Pirate" He told her, looking over at her. "Its the element of surprise that you don't expect"

He did have a point.

"I would not expect anything less of you now, Jack" She told him, a smirk playing on her face.

He kept his eyes on her. "I'll keep that in mind for the next time I save your life"

She looked back at him.

Something in his eyes was trying to tell her something.
Something she needed to know.

"I'll hold you to that" She told him with a smile.

"Your on" He answered, shaking hands with her. "Now then...what should I do first...sleep or find my T'hak Mahara?"

Elizabeth rolled her eyes.
"I suggest you sleep first...no offence or anything but you look bloody awful"

Jack faked looking hurt.

"You don't look so hot either"

Elizabeth smirked. "All evidence to the contrary...I think I look pretty damn good in this Sahri"

Jack didn't answer to that.

He didn't have to.

The look he gave her said it all.
