Chapter 8: Hell hath no Fury…
Even as Jack moved back, Will followed…
Deciding, in a moment of brilliance, to put a desk in between himself and the enraged blacksmith, he smiled contently.
Yet, a moment later the desk was sent flying through the room.
Jack’s eyes widened as he quickly looked through the room for any other possible means to keep them separate.
In a desperate attempt, not wanting to hurt Will, but even more so not wanting to get hurt himself, he ran past the blacksmith, towards the door of the cabin.
Fast…But not fast enough.
The sharp pull on his hair was enough to make him realize he had been caught, and there’d be no telling what the youth would do in his fury.
Allowing himself to be pulled back, he looked at the blacksmith with a light grin, “I’ve been needing to get that hair cut…situations like these”
“Be quiet”
Jack pursed his lips tightly together, nodding, yet the grip on his hair didn’t lessen, after what seemed like minutes, the elder peeped out, “Are you…intending on letting go, mate?”
A punch then and Jack could feel the blood dripping from his nose, “Bugger!”
Footsteps could be heard, rushing towards the captain’s cabin, and Will pressed Jack against a wooden pull, his arm pressed against Jack’s neck, “Not even so much as a peep out of you captain”
As the voice of mister Gibbs was heard, asking if Jack was alright, needed help, Will told him to answer, but not to even think of calling for help, “Aye mister Gibbs. All is well. I’m just…”
For a moment he was silent, pondering, “The rum’s gone. Need to find it”
It was all it took for the footsteps to go away.
Will used the moment to manoeuvre Jack’s dagger from him, cutting off the elder’s shirt, who looked visible stunned, “I liked that shirt”
Will pressed the dagger to Jack’s bare chest now, “I’m not a slut. I didn’t want it. I didn’t want any of it. I didn’t ask for it. It shouldn’t have happened. I didn’t like it. You think I did?”
Jack gulped, his wide brown eyes searching Will’s for any sign of the Will he’d come to lo…like…but there was nothing in those eyes but naked fury. For a moment, he was lost for words, then shook his head, “No William, I know you’re not, I know you didn’t. Anyone who’d think so should be considered ignorant”
The answer was not the answer Will had wanted, making a light cut, watching the blood appear on the elder’s chest, “I will not be used again. I won’t”
The blade cutting his skin drew a sharp hiss, “William… I’d never use you”
The dagger was thrown aside, Will’s head bending to trace his tongue along the line of blood, “Be quiet Jack. This time, I will not be used”
The youth proceeded to move his hands to unbutton Jack’s pants, at which point Jack pushed him, causing Will to tumble backwards, making a harsh impact with the wooden floor.
A soft growling noise escaped him as he rose to his feet, “You’ll regret doing that”
Jack shook his head, “No William”
Will approached the pirate again, whilst Jack stood, just waiting. The youth then proceeded throwing several punches, hitting the pirate wherever he could, his anger unleashed as tears streamed down his cheeks.
Jack smiled, “That’s it mate, just let it go….just like that.”
Then, after he felt it was enough, he took hold of the youth, “I’m sorry mate” then knocked him unconscious.
