As were your orders, my master, the Jedi have been killed. Has been killed. I failed in my task - The master is no more, but the apprentice defeated me. It was not an easy fight, not the best duel I have ever fought in. It was a long and hard battle, and I tired. I felt such glee in killing Jinn, and felt Kenobi’s learner status meant I was a better fighter than he. A grave error in my judgement. One that resulted in my death.
I have some interesting news for you, my Lord. Kenobi did not use the Lightside to defeat me. He instead drew on his fear of losing his Master, and his hatred and anger at me and used the Dark. Even now, I can feel his internal battle with us; he is tainted with the dark. It is running ragged through his veins. A potential apprentice for you, perhaps?
Even more interesting is the boy… Anakin Skywalker, whom they found on Tattooine. He is a very talented young man indeed. Strong in the ways of the Force, yet with no training and no knowledge of the Jedi or the Sith, he is in a vulnerable position. Master Jinn, the one person who truly believed in him, has been… eliminated . The recently-knighted Kenobi, his own master, is too busy with his own grief to pay any mind to him, and… I beliee fee feels some resentment towards Skywalker for coming between him and his master. Yoda and the council are wary of him, feel his power is to great, his emotions too raw.
If I may be so bold, my master, I suggest this boy be watched very carefully.
