The Dream
It was a beautiful day. You could hear the birds singing and the sound of the waves. Annie and Carla were watching for ships out on the horizon. They smelled the sea and felt the cool breeze swee aga against thier face.
Every now and then. they would go to the peer and watch for ships among the horizon. It was the only thing they knew of that would help them forget all thier problems with family and friends.
"Carla, do you think that we will ever aboard a ship and set out to sea?"
"We all have dreams, Annie, and they will only come true if you really believe in them."
"I believe that one day we will, do you?"
"I always will believe in all my dreams."
Annie sighed and smiled to herself as she still scanned the horizon for ships.
Carla broke the silence, "Well, we better get hom, you know how mom gets."
Annie nodded her head letting Casey know that she under stood and followed her home.

When they got home the first person they across was thier mom. Thier mom was thier least favorite person because she was al yel yelling and blaming everything on them. She expected so much from them and they couldn't do it all at once.
"Where have you been?
Carla answered with not a fear in the world, "We just went down to the peer."
Thier mom glared at her as if she was about to throw something, "You need to stop hanging out there."
"Why?"
"Because I said so."
"You could care less"
"I'm your mom, Carla, whether you like it or not."
"Some mom you are."
"Get out of my house!"
Carla chuckled, "Any place is better than this place, come on Annie."
Annie followed Carla outside the house and to harbor.
"Where are we going, Carla?"
"We are going to make our dream a reality."
