(This takes place after the first battle with Max and his gang and a whole new gang comes to town, including ayoung girl who Sam befriends. This takes place the summer before his last year of high school and Sam is 17 years old now.He is going to have a summer he will never forget. (This fic was originally written in 88/89 in a notebook after I had seen the movie and totally fell in love with it.) I am very sad to find out that Corey Haim who played Sam Emerson has passed away. It has always been my dream to meet him regardless of his past addictions and would of been fun to talk to him. May he rest in peace. Now I can only hope that he finally has peace now. I will always love Corey Haim as Sam Emerson in The Lost Boys. Peace out Corey!
Prologue
Summer had finally came again and after the summer he would be in his last year of high school, he
had adjusted to life there in Santa Carla, even after the battle with Max and his gang of vampires.
He wasn't afraid of things anymore. Sam had the whole summer to look forward to, he was happy that
they had gotten Max's old house and that his grandfather rebuilt his house. What was even more great
was that his mother owns the video store and runs it now. Michael and Star are still together and live in
an apartment with Laddie who had grown up a bit, since he had changed back to himself. Sam was
really looking forward to all the activity that came to the boardwalks and the beach. Expecially the
bands and the sideshows. Sam hoped to meet a girl, he wanted to be in love like Michael was with Star.
He envied his brother and his life alittle. Would he find a girl or would he just be alone and would
he find the right girl?
