Author's Notes: This is my first story, so please bear with me while I experiment with form and stuff. The first couple chapters are flashback scenes, with some narrative. The introduction, I guess. Anyways. I know the title is a bit weird, but it'll make sense later. ^.^ Thanks, and review!

A dark and majestic ship anchored in a small, uninhabited cove. A commanding figure walking drunkly across the deck of the ship. A fire haired woman smiling happily as man man catches her up in his arms. His lips assaulting her neck quickly. The couple joined by another. A dark haired, dreamer of a man. His hair tied back. Two swords belted to his hip. His arm loosely around a petite woman. Her light dress blowing in the breeze.

The spyglass snapped closed as the crew on board The Black Pearl made ready to go ashore. A small, grimey looking man, concealed around the side of the cove, tucked the spyglass away. Taking up thes ofs of a small rowboat, he rowed quickly along the shore until the beach curved around into a second cove, another ship coming into view. Like the disgusting little toothless man, the ship was dirty, ugly, worn-down and uncared for. When the man in the boat climbed aboard, he was greeted with the heavy falling up boots against the deck. Looking up, the man was faced with the Captain.

Captain John Cutlass.

The Captain growled as the man stuttered under his fierce gaze. A swift kick had the gross little man at his knees, quickly relaying what he had seen of Captain Sparrow and his companions.
