Toss the Dice Again

Chapter One

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters in this story! They belong to dream works.

This is a short CH- there isn’t much to it, as there isn’t much to the story. The next should be longer

Oh yes this is my first yaoi fan fiction, bare with me.

I own nothing the characters are © to Dream Works I think… so here it is and I hope you find it interesting. ^..^

He sat quietly watching the day’s battle to the oncoming night. He sat here mostly every night now. It was his get away, from his family mostly. He sighed racking his hands through soft blonde hair, away from his face. He watched patiently as the sun surrendered to the night falling into the ocean. Miguel’s thoughts traveled over his past resting on the memory of his mother, sick and in labor. He was fourteen then, the night she died giving birth to a dead baby. That child would have been his sister, now nearly two years old. All that was left was his father, uncle and himself.

The stars had taken their place in the night’s sky, the moon full and bright. Miguel cursed rubbing the mist from his eyes with the back of his hand. He would not let himself cry. Not then, and not now. He heard a crowd from the alleyway. He stood and stretched, he climbed easily off the roof and landed in the alley. There he found a group of men; Night-Crawlers, as he knew them, and not to go near them. He moved closer to the group stepping into the circle. He spotted what they were all watching, two men a middle-aged well built sailor and a young man about his own age. The younger one was slick raven hair pulled back in a short pony tail at the base of his skull. He looked around the group of onlookers and spotted Miguel, catching his eye, blue and green locked for a moment. The raven haired boy winked at Miguel, “Show me seven!” he called tossing a pair of red die across the dirt. The Night-Crawlers watched intently on the dice, as for Miguel, his eye never left the wiry man. This of course did not go unnoticed by the other as he inwardly smirked, settling his gaze on the die as the easily landed on seven, declaring him the winner.
