Paperwork
“There’s no way I can convince you to do this for me?” Crys Carlson asked, staring at an impossibly large stack of paperwork.
The amphibious Abe Sapien sat on the bed across from Crys’s desk and looked up from his book. “Nope.”
“But I really hate this crap.”
Closing his book Abe eyed the blond. “You know it’s bad enough getting roped into doing Red’s share of the paperwork without you trying to do the same thing.”
“Which by the way is completely unfair. Hellboy isn’t your girlfriend.”
“Thankfully no, he isn’t.”
Crys pouted, knowing she was simply going to have to do the work herself. Still, work could wait.
She quietly left her desk and approached the bed. Having buried himself back in his book Abe was oblivious to the outside worked and she knew it. Crys had straddled his lap and confiscated his book in one quick motion before he could do a thing to protest.
Still, Abe knew better than to let on that he was surprised. “You’re procrastinating.”
“I’m spending time with you.”
“To avoid doing paperwork.”
She chose to ignore his nonsense that was of course completely true, and leaned forward until she was inches away from his face.
“Yes?”
“You are absolutely no fun, you do realize that don’t you?”
Abe smiled, an act that was so faint most people wouldn’t even notice. Instead of replying he kissed her forehead.
“Oh come on, you can do better than that,” Crys teased, bringing her lips to meet Abe’s.
The two kissed softly, something that had disturbed John Meyers the first time he had witnessed it. Slowly the kiss turned deeper and more passionate until Abe finally pulled away. He stared into a pair of blue eyes, reading their contents. He didn’t need psychic powers to see Crys’s thoughts, they were written plainly in her eyes.
“I don’t think this is such a good idea.”
The playfulness had dropped from Crys’s voice, leaving only the husky tone of femininity. “Why? You always say that and I always just listen. Now I want to know why.”
“Because I can’t let it go any further. You knew when we began dating that-“
“I knew you loved me. I knew we were different but it didn’t matter. I knew everything I needed to know Abraham.” She lightly touched the side of his face. “I don’t know how to break it to you but I already know you’re not human, and I really don’t care.”
She kissed him again, resting a hand on his chest for support. She could feel him hesitate but it only took a couple seconds for him to respond. This time however it was Crys who pulled away, instead taking hold of both of Abe’s webbed hands. She flattened out her own hands and pressed her palms against his, concentrating hard on what she was feeling.
Abe received those feelings and swallowed hard. “Crys, I…”
She smiled. Seeing Abe at a loss for words was a special treat, and knowing she’d been the one to cause it added to the enjoyment. Reluctantly she forced herself to become serious. “If you really don’t want to go any further we don’t have to,” she said tenderly. “But if you do then I’m ready. I love you Abe and there is nothing that could happen tonight to change that.”
After a short pause Abe took back his hands and ran them along Crys’s back, urging her to lean forward. With a soft sigh she rested her head on his chest, repositioning her lap so she could lay flat against him. He held her tightly, enjoying the feel of her warm body against his cool skin. He lightly kissed the top of her head, to which she responded by kissing his chest with equal tenderness. Much to Abe’s surprise the simple display of affection sent a jolt of electricity through his body, causing his heart rate to quicken.
Taking notice of his reaction Crys kissed his chest again and then once more after that. He squirmed beneath her but didn’t protest so she continued, eventually nipping at his blue flesh.
“Relax,” she instructed softly when he bolted upright.
“I can’t…”
She felt disappointed but tried not to let it show. “It’s okay, we’ve got plenty of time.”
“No, that isn’t what I mean.” He sounded breathless. “I need my respirator.”
Crys smiled and got up, retrieving the apparatus from the chair he had left it in. It wasn’t uncommon for Abe to bring his respirator to Crys’s room since they sometimes talked for hours. Once he had it on he took a deep breath.
Crys returned to the bed removing her sweater as she walked. She discarded the useless garment, leaving her in only a thin white camisole from the waist up. Taking advantage of Abe’s reoccurring less of speech she returned to her former position. Paying close attention to every sound the man beneath her made she lightly licked his flesh, following every lick with a nip and every nip with a kiss. She heard his breath quicken and could feel his arousal beneath her. She began trailing her kisses upward, eventually making her way once again to meet Abe’s mouth.
Pulling her towards him Abe kissed her ferociously, finally letting the dam holding back his desire break. When she sat up he wanted to protest but stopped when he saw her reach for the camisole she was wearing and pull it over her head.
Bare breasted and straddling his lap Crys stared into Abe’s eyes, mentally inviting him to touch her. She bit her lip as he brought his hands to her scarred flesh, exploring the unfamiliar terrain with the unique pads on his palms. She gasped as he moved his hands over her breasts, and it suddenly seemed like she was wearing far too many clothes. Reluctantly she left her perch astride him and unbuckled her pants, letting the last few bits of clothing she wore hit the carpet. Now completely naked she stood in front of Abe and smiled.
“Crys…” Abe searched for words but her name was the only one he could find.
“Trust me,” she whispered, gingerly taking hold of the waistband of his shorts.
Uncertainty gripped him and more than anything he feared her reaction. His feelings weren’t easily masked and Crys took immediate notice. Keeping his gaze steady she removed the shorts and tossed them on the floor with the rest of her clothing. She only broke eye contact to give him a reassuring kiss before straddling him a third time.
Without a word she positioned her body over his, sliding his length into her with minimal difficulty. Bracing her hands on his chest for support she started by rocking back and forth, eventually moving into a rhythm they both picked up on.
Grinding her body against his Crys tossed her head back, fighting the urge to cry out as she got closer to orgasm. Once it broke over her she made no sound, only a light airy gasp. Amazed at both her ability to remain silent and Abe’s level of control she continued her movement searching his face for a sign of his climax. She didn’t have long to wait as seconds later his body tightened and he lost his control. As he came he held tight to Crys’s waist, unintentionally feeding her the sensations he felt. With the onslaught of the second orgasm Crys’s silence was broken.
Exhausted she collapsed on top of him already feeling sleep tug on the edges of her consciousness.
“You’re going to have to get back to your room soon aren’t you?” Crys asked, fighting to stay awake.
Abe wrapped his arms around her. “I won’t be able to stay the night, no.”
“Well then we need to get you a bed in your room because I am not going without that ever again.”
