Star Wars: Dark Force
A long time ago...
In a galaxy far far away...
The new alliance of the Republic has finally retained order
as well the new Jedi council led by the spirits of fallen Jedi.
Along with the help of the Jedi council and Jedi academy, the Republic rebuild the capital on Bespin after the fall of Corauscant.
However rebel forces are trying to stop the rebuilding of the Republic.
Alough the rebels are no longer their main threat…
As the Republic turns their attention to the rebuilding of Bespin a strong presence shows it self to the Jedi. A beast beyond the imagination of the Jedi and Republic…
A large black ship pierces the darkness of space. The long flat surface reflects the stars and planets of space. Inside…
A man in a dark red uniform, almost the color of freshly spilled blood, entered a dark room with a large bed in the center. His uniform was one of a highly ranked officer. He got down on one knee and bowed at a man sitting on the bed, “Master. You called for me?”
The man on the bed turned to the officer. He had dried gray skin and piercing yellow eyes. A hideous and frightening soul, “Moff Forem. It is time. The ‘project’ is ready?”
Moff Forem grinned, “Yes. I had a feeling this is why you summoned me, master.” He turned toward the door of the dark room, “Bring him in!”
The door slid open and three figures walked through the open doors. Two were soldiers leading the third. They wore crimson battle armor. Their helmets were shaped like the old Republic Scout Troopers’ but with their mouths cut out. The third figure was like a dark shadow floating just above the floor with the way it walked. It had a pitch-black Jedi robe with dark gray armor covering its breast, shoulder, and upper arm. A hood covered the identity of the figure.
The solders waited for the figure to stand next to the Moff and then left. The man on the bed turned to the new presence in the room, “Show me yourself.”
The figure lifted its hood. It was a man. At least what seamed to be. The man sent a chill down Moff Forem’s spine. His eyes were as crimson as the solders armor. Around his left eye was an unusual tattoo. They looked like black tree roots reaching down the left side of his face and down his neck. His hair was long and black that fell down his shoulders.
Not only was this man creepy, he was strong. He must have been around 300 ibs. And only looked to be around his early twenties. The man on the bed chuckled a dark leathery laugh, “He is better then I imagined! This ‘Shadow’!”
The ‘Shadow’ raised his head and spoke in a dark husky voice, “Thank you, master.”
The man jumped from his bed and ran up to the ‘Shadow’, “You will bring fear and death to my foes! Since you wear two I raised you to be a Jedi! Training all day! Stopping only to sleep and eat! Like my son I raised you to who you are now.”
The man smiled a toothy smile and continued to babble on, “My son! We will wipe out the Jedi! Then with their main force destroyed! We will destroy the Republic!”
The Moff finally got off his knee and looked at the two of them, “No that his training has been complete, what shall we do?”
“Gather up our main invasion forces and out Jedi students. We shall strike the Jedi academy on Yavin 4!” The man chuckled.
“Yes. Master Styr.” The Moff turned and left the room.
Styr Froma’ outreached his gray hand. In his hand lay a light saber handle, “Take this, son. I had the greatest men of men build this for you.”
The shadow took it in his hand and flipped the switch. With a low pitched ‘whir’ the crimson blade erected from the handle. He swished it around in the air. It swiftly cut the air like it was butter. Once he was satisfied he turned it off and strapped it to his belt, “Thank you, my Master.”
Luke Skywalker stood before the newest Jedi council. Since the Jedi council building wasn’t finished on Bespin they stayed in an empty cloud city building. Twelve Jedi sitting in diamond shaped chairs surrounded Luke. Some were spirits of fallen Jedi, others were alive. The Jedi spirits included Yoda, Mace Windu, Aayla Secura, Kit Fisto, Obi-won, and Luke’s father.
Luke was much older. His hair was white and his body was more limited than it once was, “How is the council building coming along?”
“Fine. It should be finished soon.” The young spirit of Anakin (I have him as he was on the DVD set) told him.
Mace Windu rested his head on his chin, “Master Skywalker. I’m sure you know why you were called here from Yavin. We have all sensed a dark cloud in the force. If we sensed it, I’m sure you have.”
“Yes. I’m afraid so.” Luke sighed.
“A presence like this hasn’t been detected since…” Obi-Won sighed.
“Me.” Anakin said emotionlessly.
“I’m afraid so.” A male Jedi in the back said.
“Hmm… disaster is approaching, soon a war will be.” Yoda finalized.
Zekk leaned up against the hatch door of the “Lightning Rod”. He was dressed in his trademark blue and black Jedi tunic and robe. He was waiting for Luke to finish his meeting with the Jedi council.
He tossed the handle of his light saber up and down while he waited. Zekk used to be a student of Luke’s until he was lured to the dark side. He did many dark acts, even attacking the people he loved. After turning away from the dark side he became a lonely bounty hunter. Never trusting anyone, and no one trusting him. He even became as close as a friend could be to Boba Fett. Which also turned out to be the wrong path in his life.
Then the ones he loved persuaded him to rejoin the academy. A few years after he graduated he returned to the academy to become a teacher. He knew more then anyone about the allure of the dark side.
Zekk spotted Luke coming down the hallway toward the hanger. Once Luke reached Zekk, Zekk asked how it went.
“They also sensed it.” Luke was troubled.
“Hmm…. Well our main concern is the academy right?”
“Yes. But what affects the Republic, affects us all.”
“How do you know this presence is after the Republic? Unless it is one of the rebellions.” Zekk pondered.
“No. I don’t think it is. The rebels are too aggressive. Whatever this cloud is, we would have known about it.”
“True. Now this dose bother me. If a rebellion force was the problem, we could quickly solve it-“
“But now we don’t know what we are dealing with.”
“Its all to familiar.” Zekk sat up from the hatch of his ship, “Just like the rebirth of the Sith… You don’t think it is the Sith again?!”
“No. I’m Sure the Sith have been destroyed. Come, we should return to Yavin.”
Mana Lighthart lay down on a boulder looking through they treetops at the Yavin Sky. She was a student of the local academy. She had long dirty blonde hair and large violet eyes. She always wore white, which was a rule for her people’s women to wear. Even her light saber was an almost white blade. It contained a rare gem found only on her planet located outside of the main galaxy, even beyond the Outer Rim.
She took the calm scenery in and stood up from her cozy boulder. She brushed herself off and headed back to the Academy that was once a temple. A few other students called greetings to her as she jogged out of the Yavin forest. She waved back and she was about to go talk to one of her girlfriends when a ship flew over their heads.
The ship lowered itself onto the landing pad. It was the “Lightning Rod”. Mana and the other students ran to greet them.
The hatch opened and Luke walked down the ramp to the landing pad. He smiled and greeted his students. He also saw his wife Mara Jade in the crowd. Zekk fallowed shortly with a large bag strapped to his back. It was anyone’s guess what was in there.
Luke usually greeted and talked to the students before heading to the temple, but this time he skipped it all and went to his room. Some were concerned, something was not right.
Mara sat down on her and Luke’s bed next to Luke, “What did they say?”
“Exactly what I thought. I fear that if another force like the Emperor’s shows itself, how will or Jedi bode? We are not as strong as we once were, and even then we were destroyed. Jedi like you and me, we are getting too old.”
“Nonsense , look at Jedi Master Yoda. He is still strong even in his body’s death.” Mara comforted him.
“Yes, I know. I just fear for my students. The force tells me I should.” Luke pounded his fist on his bed.
The ‘Shadow’ was sitting on a bench of a transporter ship headed for Yavin. The man thought of his training. His first memory was of training. All he did was training, sleep, and eat. Nothing else . If he failed or refused to do an exercise he’d be beaten. He now knew his life was meaningless. His life was that of a droids, only to serve. Death is death. Life is life. Nothing mattered to him. The only thing he knew was his power and knowledge of the force.
Moff Forem had given him full command of the invasion taskforce. His mission, to destroy every Jedi master and student…
