Fire

Title: Fire
Author: gentlemanlymalice
Summary: A Kei/Sho drabble
Pairing: Kei/Sho (squee)
AN: I was writing a longer, more serious KeiSho fic when I came across a load of adorable drabble-pieces and felt the need to write my own. Just having fun, you know?

FIRE

Kei can’t quite believe it, even as he feels Sho’s skin underneath his fingertips, feels a hipbone jutting almost painfully into his own. Sho is so warm; it feels like he’s going to burn off Kei’s considerably cooler skin. As he trails a hand down Sho’s chest, Kei wonders if the heat will fuse them together permanently. He wonders why he’s not afraid of the blaze.

Kei likes to take it slow. He’s got all the time in the world. He’s got until the end of the world. But Sho is mortal and Sho is impatient, and he pulls and surges and pleads so beautifully. Kei knows how hard it is for Sho to plead for things. Sho doesn’t like to plead. And so Kei succumbs to the mounting heat, letting the flames lick at his skin, higher and higher.

Kei never knew fire could feel so good.

When it’s all over, and they’re lying side by side, Kei asks Sho, lazily, why he finally gave in. Sho just grunts, and Kei can feel him glaring. He doesn’t even have to look. Saying that Sho gave in implies that Sho was weak. And Sho hates feeling weak.

Kei knows he’s going to pay for that remark, and sure enough, when the next time rolls around, Sho is most careful to end up on top. The fire is even fiercer than before, and Kei lets it consume him without question or reserve.

Kei doesn’t mind being weak, not for Sho.

Besides, there’s always next time.
