hello all and welcome.
Well this is my first attempt at a fiction, Wolfsbane made me, gotta love her though.
Well let's see here, first these characters are of my own creation, with a little help from Flowering_Wolfsbane, but I do not own the rights to the matrix idea and characters featured in the series.
Story may include explicit language and mild sex scene, you are warned.

It’s for the first second that you don’t feel pain, right after the bullet has lodged itself inside you, there’s a nothing… then fear, then pain.
The man stumbled as a lead bullet lodged itself inside him art, crimson blood shooting from the new wound and slowly soaking his clothes.
When you’re that close nothing can stop you. He stumbles, for less than half a second; you can’t stop running at something so small. The goal within his sign, one rooftop away, nothing but air and coding between him and the real world.
A second of searing pain, stumbled again… nothing you can do after that, a shot to the top leg and you’re done for... you can’t focus when you have such a pain coursing though you, he knew that…
Stopping at the edge of the rooftop he stood, looked once more over the dimly lit landscape of the world he fought for, nothing; left to do…
Shot again. He fell, clothes fluttering in the wind, over 2 stories down no one there to save him, no one to watch his back… no one to help him.
When you hit the floor at that kind of speed there’s not a chance in hell you’re going to survive… his pursuers may not have heard his last words, but his crew members did.
Save him, for the love of God get him out…
