Chapter One

Warnings: None for this chapter
Pairings: Jack/OC (Cassie aka Cassandra) Eliz/Will and furture pairings...

“Please Ma’am you have to be joking?” Freda the maid pleaded.
Cassandra shook her head, “No I intend to learn, and I shall be good!”. Freda sighed and reluctantly turned around. She slowly unsheathed a sword from the armoury wall.
“Are you sure this is wise My Lady?” she asked handing the sword to Cassandra. “At this point I’m not sure of anything, really” Cassandra admitted as she examined the gold hilt of the sword.
“Well, who are you going to get to teach you My Lady?” Freda asked well eyeing the sword blade.
“Actually I was thinking perhaps Mr Turner, Elizabeth said he wouldn’t mind” Cassandra replied. “Ah, Lady Elizabeth’s husband” Freda agreed with a nod of her head.
Cassandra put the sword back into the sheath and looked at Freda. “Now all I need is someone to distract my brother well I’m gone”. Freda’s eyes widened, “but My Lady what could I possibly do?” she asked a hint of fear in her voice. “Um, just ask him to explain the king of England to you” Cassandra replied, Freda sighed, “I shall try My Lady”.

Cassandra knocked on the Turner’s door well wrapping her coat closer around her shoulders. A maid soon answered and lead Cassandra in. Cassandra thanked the maid just as Elizabeth came running down the stairs.
“Cassandra!” she said, then gave her a hug. “Hello Elizabeth” Cassandra said returning the hug. “Will’s just outside in the training garden” Elizabeth said pointing to a side door in the house. “Thank you” Cassandra thanked then headed out into the garden. William Turner was practicing with two swords, he had his brown hair tied at the nape of his neck.
“Will” Cassandra called out getting Will’s attention. He smiled at her and motioned for her to go over to the mat. Cassandra walked over to him, her dress trailing behind her. “Alright Cassie, firstly, next time don’t wear a dress” Will said well placing the swords onto a wooden bench on the left side of the mat. Cassie had the grace to blush at the obvious.
“So, Will were do we start?” she asked. Will smiled, “Explaining, so Fencing eh…..”

‘He’s a good teacher’ Cassie decided as she took another sip of the tea Elizabeth had offered. “and then Jack actually betrayed us and made a pact with Barbossa, then he goes back on our side…” Elizabeth was once again explaining the story of how she and Will met Jack Sparrow. Cassandra wouldn’t have believed a thing if it hadn’t been for the fact that her brother, James Norrington had in fact been present during this. “Wow, so it was the curse of the Aztec gold?” Cassie asked. Elizabeth nodded and carried on with her story.
“So where’s this Jack Sparrow now?” Cassie asked after Elizabeth had finished.
“He’s roaming the Caribbean’s” Will cut in. “Oh” Cassie said well Elizabeth nodded.
“Does he ever visit you?” Cassie asked. “Once in a while, as you know James wants him hung so…” Will trailed off. “Ah yes, my brother” Cassie agreed. “So will you come tomorrow for more lessons?” Will asked. Cassie nodded, “Yes I believe I will, thank you for the help Will”.
“Are you leaving now?” Elizabeth asked. Cassie nodded and Elizabeth hugged her quickly. “See you tomorrow Cassie” Will said well giving her a brief hand shake. Cassie nodded then started to make her way home.

I know this may be a short chapter but its harder then it looks to start storys, I will try to make the next chapters longer and reviews and healthy flames are accepted.
