Disclaimer:
I do not own House of 1000 Corpses, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Road to no where
disclaimer : just some crude language in the first chapter. the only thing I own is the fictional band Lamontra, the zombie man owns the rest.
" What the fuck do you mean we're almost out of gas?! " I shouted while staring at the gas meter. " We filled it up twice as much as usaul at the last stop." Adam interjected from behind. " cheap ass hick town. We got a gig in like five hours Mack. Do you even know where the hell we are?" Mack kept his eyes clear on the fog covered road, as much as he wanted to tell the rest of us shut the fuck up and let him drive, he wasn't gonna risk driving the van into a ditch he couldn't even see.
We spent nearly two days trying to get to a once in a lifettime gig to a place we couldn't find in a town we never heard of. All four of us, Mack Adam Derek and myself, were growing restless and bored of being couped up in that crowded, rusty van. Everyone going crazy over someone sneezing or breathing too loud, it wasn't that we couldn't get along with each other, oh no, we were mostly family than bandmates , we were just eager to get this gig over with and get our career started. But with fame and wealth came a long road of hardships, and this one made no exception. " Are we there yet?" Derek asked arising from his deep sleep and brushing his wild honey blonde locks from his eyes. I always felt some spring of joy when I looked at his boyish features, though he acted more like a child than the love of my life, but he was my sun and I was his moon, I made sure he didn't go off the edge, as he did with me.
" I don't think we're even near human civilization." Adam said staring at mack. " Would you get off my back dude? I'm the ones whos had to sacrafice sleep to get our asses to gig we can't even find." mack tried to keep his cool as much as he could to reframe from arguing with his younger brother, seeing as you had to have the attention spand of a rodent to win an argument with adam. " Would the both of you quite bickering for a moment?" I pointed out an upcoming billboard for a gas stop on the next exit. " Just take the next exit an we'll be there in no time." I felt a sweep of relief wash over me, all we had to do was get some gas and get directions to ruggesvile county and we'd be half way out of here. " Capt. Spauldings musem of monsters and madmen." derek read aloud. " Doesn't sound like any gas station I've ever heard of."
so what do ya think about the first chapter? too short or just right? reviews will be greatly apreciated.
