Chapter One
Reunion

The night was young and the moon still full. Light peaked its way through the small entry wall of cave, giving the room an eerie glow. The light peered into my eyes. There was silence as well, something that I would never had experienced, but now I have. Red liquid ran down my face, my form of tears. For I could not cry something I did not have.
Everything had changed since that day my fellow friends were killed. Killed by mortal humans in a fight to find the one true leader. As I peered out of the cave, the lights from the Ferris wheel reflected off of the water reminded me of what had happened to them. Now it was time to find new members. A fresh and intriguing new start.
Walking down the boardwalk, I watched all of the girls peek toward my direction. Had I changed that much? My hair had grew longer, past my shoulders, but had I changed that much. I didn’t really know because of not being able to see my reflection in a mirror. The wind blew in my face, rustling my hair and my coat. Girls started to laugh and giggle. One of them blushed when I turned and smiled. But I didn’t want them, I wanted new vampires. More so that I wouldn’t feel alone.
As I made my way across the board walk, a certain boy had caught my attention. A tall, handsome boy. About the age of 16, he was with no one and seemed to be lost. His hair was long and had streaks of blond and red blended in at the tips. His eyes were different as well. Not a normal color, red. Approaching him, I placed my hand on his shoulder. He turned slowly, facing me. Pain was all over his face. The first perfect member.
“Are you David?” The boy rambled off.
“Yes, but how did you know my name?” I didn’t know this boy, but yet I felt like I did all of a sudden.
“A man about your age helped me. I remembered him dying at a house. I was young then, but thought that it was all a dream.” He looked up at the sky, looking for answers in a way. “ My name is Leon, but I think that they used to call me Laddie.”
“ Laddie!?” A feeling came to me. The feeling of happiness something a vampire doesn’t feel. “What happened to Star and Michael?
He looked at me with sadness in his eyes. “They ran off together and got married, leaving me behind like my parents did. So I came here to find you and become a full-fledge vampire, not a half-breed.” He smiled, laughing in a sense. “ I guess I’m the first.”
“ Well yeah.” I looked up at the sky, where the moon was started to become covered with grey clouds. “Do you want to help me search for more?” I became cautious of my words. I didn’t want to upset him from something in the past.
“ Why would we search,” He paused, smiling at me, pointing the direction of the carousel. “ when everyone is here and well.”
A group of about three guys came out from behind some smoke. Marco, Paul, and Dwayne. All of them alive.
“ David?!” One of them cried, clearly it must have been Marco. His eyes twinkled when he saw me.
“Yep! That’s David.” Paul exclaimed as he jumped down form one of the park benches on the board walk.
As they approached me, joy filled my heart. A weird sensation came upon me. We all greeted each other with hugs and handshakes. Leon stood back, letting everyone reunite for the first time in awhile.
“ David, we have something to show you.” Marco pulled me towards the entrance of the board walk where we used to park our bikes, but there instead of our old ones, were new bikes. Black with red tints. All of them different for each person. Walking over to the bikes, I ran my fingers over the body. My hand gripped the handle bar, mounted it. As I turned to face them, they knew what that meant. Party time. Revving the engine, I head it purr. It was nice to have everything back again. But this wasn’t over just yet.
AN: This story will get weirder so I though that I would warn you all ahead of time. See I used this thing where it said that David and Marco had something going on, but it never did say what....so I’m playing with it right now....Thnx for the support...kitty
