A Little Fun
*Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the characters but would like to borrow them for a while. Then I have to give them back. This is my first fiction piece hope you like it.
A Little Fun
At approximately 7:30 on New Years Eve Special Agent Clarice Starling has just stepped out of the FBI main headquarters in Arlington, Virginia to find her 302 mustang parked towards the end of the parking lot. Normally this wouldn’t bother her except for the fact that it’s been pouring all day. Starling starts to walk across the parking lot and here’s a horn blow. She turns around to see who is blowing the horn and it is a fellow agent waving. Starling waves back as she gets soaked by the water puddle the agent just drove through. She cant help but think “great just what I needed to be soaking wet and cold”. Starling gets in her car turns the heat on to find that it’s not working.
Twenty minutes later Clarice is pulling up to her duplex shared with fellow Agent Ardelia Mapp. She unlocks the door to find the shared duplex empty. “Great guess I am by my self to night, what a shame” after reading the letter Ardelia left on the table stating she has a date and probably won’t be back until tomorrow afternoon. Starling decides she wants a relaxing evening to ring in the new year.
Clarice goes into her bathroom just off of her bedroom to light candles and to start the water. She then proceeds into her dark bedroom to remove her clothing. Five minutes later she is sitting in the bubble bath. Sitting there in the tub Clarice can’t help but wonder what Hannibal Lector does to ring in the new year.
Lost in her own thoughts Clarice never hears the unlocking of her sliding glass doors………..
