Falls the Rain
Hellraiser is not mine!! :( neither is Pinhead, but we can keep that to ourselves, can't we? Please?
There’s a whisper from the passage,
And the clanking of a chain,
Then the cenobites surround you…
…in hell you feel the rain….
Moving beneath your skin, liquid fire deep within,
Ever patient, vigilant, they extend open hands…
And the rain you cannot feel and so are still not sure is real
Shatters on the walls in icy bands,
Closer, closer, still they call you,
The message is the same…
You opened the box, we came!
Opens a door and turns a key,
Now you can see what you were not meant to see!
All of the sights! The feelings they inspire, did you think that hell was only fire?
And He speaks, his eyes so cold…they bleed you where you stand.
He will not implore you to go on, he was forged to command.
…And He will not pursue, you are not ready for the pain…
And all around you,
Ever falling…
Falls the rain.
“We have no more surprises, your path is set,
With the tears of the other Solvers, do not forget…
Remember this moment, hold on to it then,
For down the dark decades of your pain, this… will seem like a memory of heaven.”
