“Now there’s a power I’ve never seen before.”

“Shut up.”

“No, seriously!” Lash smirked, running a hand through damp hair. “Where’d you pick that one up? It’s a really remarkable talent, it really is. I mean, honestly. Who taught you? You must share the secret.”

“Shut the hell up!” Speed yelled, throwing a wild hit in Lash’s general direction, missing horribly, and just making the taller and thinner boy laugh. It was a happy laugh, companionable, but still a little mean, around the edges. “I’ll have you know... you ain’t perfect, either!”

Lash snorted. “Mine... my powers are useful. Seriously, Speed. Where’d you pick that one up?”

“It’s not my fault,” Speed muttered mutinously, studiously looking anywhere but at the other.

“No. Really.” Lash rolled over, flopping onto his stomach on the bed, swatting playfully at Speed’s bare rear end. “You came faster than a speeding bullet, Speed. That’s gotta be like, a record. Where’d you pick up that one?”

“All your fault,” Speed grumbled into the pillow.

“Right.” Lash rolled over again, sitting up, and smacked the other’s ass - hard - making him yelp, and bolt up. “Welcome to Lash’s school of super hero training, Speed. Now, we’re going to train you up right, and we...” he paused here, to stretch his neck and plant a fast kiss on a pouting lower lip, “Are not going to stop practicing until you develop a few new powers, right?”

Speed flopped back onto his back, sighing. “You’re crazy.”

“Sex crazy, yes.” The other Sophomore nodded. “Now. To work!”
