Riddick is not mine but Talia is. Yes it's long but I didn't feel like breaking it up into chapters. Enjoy!

Killer Instincts

“Come on you bastard. Get in there!” The merc called Rex shoved the bound and
bitted Riddick into the back of the ship. Riddick could taste his fear and
couldn’t wait to taste his blood.

There in the back was girl strapped into a wall of the ship. She wore loose
dark blue pants that hugged her hips and a tight black tank top that showed
off her small but attractive breasts. She was bound in the same way Riddick
was right down to the bit in her mouth. As Rex quickly strapped Riddick in the
girl barely raised her head. Her eyes were black and dead looking. Her body,
what Riddick could see of it, was covered in bruises. Her right shoulder was
dislocated but she seemed unfazed.

“Now I’ll not have any trouble from either of ya. Especially not you…” Rex
said moving over to the girl. He reached out to feel her up and she jerked
forward growling. Riddick was pleased to watch Rex leap backward. Riddick
laughed out loud around his bit. He didn’t bother trying to say anything and
Rex sulked away.

Hours later an annoying sound came from the girl. Looking over Riddick saw
something he’d never expect, the girl was gnawing through her solid steel bit.
In minutes she was able to drop the piece into her awaiting left hand. She
didn’t spend much more time picking her restraints without looking and one
handed. In almost no time she was free.

“Who are you” She asked walking over. She didn’t look him in the eye and that
annoyed him.

“Ri-ick” He said around his bit getting more and more irritated with the girl.

“Riddick. Right.” She said and took off his bit. He glared at her.

“You can pilot right?” She asked slowly freeing him. He stretched and she
stepped out of his way without looking at him.

“Yeah I can but you seem to have things under control, you pilot the damn
ship.” He snapped. She merely sighed.

“I can’t. Now do you need me to kill the merc? Or can you handle that?” She
drawled.

“Who the hell are you anyway?” He snarled with a voice that made most men shit
themselves but this girl who couldn’t be over 20, looked bored.

“Talia. My name is Talia Spike. Now I don’t know about you but I’d rather not
go back to the slam so if we could dispose of Rex we can find a place to part
ways.” She said a little exasperated. Riddick meant to grab her and pin her so
he could show her who was in charge but she easily avoided his advances and
with a shake of her head left. Riddick followed just in time to watch Talia
silently stride up behind Rex and snap his neck. She tossed him out of the
pilot’s chair and gestured to it.

“Well? You wanna fly this thing or you wanna crash?” She asked. It was really
beginning to piss Riddick off that she wouldn’t look him in the eye.

“You take it. You seem more then capable.” He said with plenty of sarcasm.

“Told you, I can’t.” She said again patiently.

“Why not? Badass like you should have picked that up a long time ago.” He said
advancing on her. She shook her head.

“Sure…I’ll pilot. You don’t mind doing a head on face plant with the next star
or planet we come across.” Her patience was wearing thin. Riddick laughed his
loud evil laugh.

“Can’t even avoid a damn star? What are you blind?” He asked.

“As a matter of fact…I am.” She answered bitterly. He stared at her
suspiciously.

“You kill pretty easily for a blind woman.” He said in a low gravely voice.

“I can sense life force. But I can’t see…my eyes don’t work.” She explained
and Riddick took the controls. A blind convict was intriguing to say the
least.

Talia sighed as once again her blindness had impeded her. She hefted Rex into
the airlock with one arm and sent him off. Riddick remembered about her arm
and after setting the ship to auto pilot he came over to her. She stepped away
but he followed grabbing her good arm. She stopped.

“What do you want?” Talia asked.

“Your shoulder is dislocated. You should let me pop it back in.” He answered.
She nodded and with only a grunt of pain allowed him to do what he suggested.
She rubbed her shoulder sighing in relief. It had been like that for three
days.

“It’s on autopilot headed toward Tursiot VIII. We’ll be there in a couple of
days. In the meantime I’m starving.” He told her and left to find the kitchen.
He expected her to follow like a lost puppy or to call to him for help but she
did neither. Obviously this girl wasn’t helpless but he had no idea what her
limitations were. Apparently she had few because she beat him to the kitchen
and was eating an apple while sitting on the counter.

“Took the long way huh?” She asked and took another bite.

“I thought you were blind, how did you get here?” He asked as annoyance grated
in his voice.

“I’m blind, not dumb. I simply told the computer to guide me to the mess
hall.” She explained as she started eating the core of her apple Riddick made
himself something to eat and sat down at the grimy table. He dug in eying
Talia cautiously.

“So…why did he snag you?” Riddick asked after he finished eating.

“Same reason he snagged you, I’m a wanted fugitive, a killer.” She answered.
She hopped down from the counter and carefully sat at the table across from
Riddick.

“What turned you to killing?” He asked biting back the laughter at the image
of some one groping around to make a kill even though he had seen her in
action.

“Circumstance. You?” She asked conversationally.

“Circumstance.” He said with a little bit of a mocking tone. She chuckled.

“I was captured by an alien force and ended up killing most of my captors
before they got me to the mother ship. There they trained me and manipulated
me until I became their assassin. Wasn’t long before I broke away.” She told
him with a shrug.

“How old were you when they took you?” He asked.

“Ten. I was already an avid hunter so the strange creatures were easy enough
for me to kill.” She answered absently rubbing her right shoulder. Riddick
just nodded and just about kicked himself when he realized she couldn’t see
the action.

“What about you Mr. Riddick? How’d you get into the killing business?” She
asked. Were the two really having a casual conversation about killing? It
seemed so and the thought made Riddick want to laugh.

“Spent my early years moving from foster family to foster family and they all
sucked. Ended up with a homicidal foster brother who tried to kill me in my
sleep. I lived, he didn’t, and every one blamed me. All down hill from there.”
He told her.

“I’ve heard of that case. Long time ago. How old are you?” She asked
curiously.

“Thirty something, lost count. You?” Riddick asked.

“I’m twenty. I think.” She grinned which brought a new light to her face.

“In a couple of days we’ll be at the planet I picked. We can split up there.”
He said and took off to find the only bed. He sat down and took off his shirt.
There in his side was a deep wound received from Rex and the main reason he
had been captured. It was bleeding again and the foggy feeling he got told him
he had lost enough blood to be concerned. At this point the best he could hope
for was a quick bandage job and plenty of sleep. He collapsed leaving Talia to
fend for herself. She didn’t mind, it wasn’t the first time. She went back to
the cockpit to monitor the alarms so that she could go get Riddick should any
sound. She curled up in the copilot’s chair and was soon fast asleep.

Talia woke some time later from a nightmare. She shook it off and went to see
how Riddick was doing. She had scented his blood before and doubted that the
convict knew how to bandage it properly. Sure enough when she sat beside him
he had a rough bandage around his middle already darkening with blood.

Talia retrieved the med box and quickly cut away the old bandages. He must
have been truly exhausted because he didn’t even wake when she gave him a
local pain killer. With the ease of having plenty of practice on herself,
Talia began sewing the wound shut. She was concerned that he never woke but
after a quick check of his vitals she was assured that he’d live. When she
left he was still asleep. She had used her ability to sense life force and her
acute sense of touch to patch him up. The scar would be ragged but he wouldn’t
bleed to death.

Riddick woke to find his side numb and tight. He looked at the stitches there.
He touched them gently and frowned. Obviously Talia had done it but how? And
why did she trust him enough to work on him in his sleep? At any moment he
could have woke up and killed her out of instinct alone. He was surprised that
he hadn’t.

Riddick stood with a grunt. She had chosen to numb just what she was working
with rather then giving him a lot of pain killers. This was a good thing sense
it left his head clear. Maybe he wouldn’t kill her after all. However he did
want a word with her.

He stalked through the ship and found her in the kitchen drinking a strong cup
of coffee. She sat there calmly sipping the hot drink her dead eyes staring a
nothing. When she heard him come in she titled her head slightly.

“Feeling better?” She asked sweetly. He wondered if she could feel the heat of
his glare.

“Why did you do that? I could have killed you.” He said.

“You were dying. That would be bad for both of us. Besides, you’re interesting
and I doubt that you could kill me as easily as you think.” She said. She
wasn’t being cocky but confident and so far he had never smelled fear from her
only her own subtle scent. He sat down across from her weighing what she had
said.

“Coffee? It’s not bad.” She offered and stood to pour him some. He caught
himself nodding and grumbled ‘yes’ still trying to figure her out. It was true
that without him nothing short of a miracle would get her to a planet safely.
But for that very reason she should be terrified that he would leave her or do
worse. Why then did she seem at complete ease around him?

She handed him the steaming cup and sat back down. She dropped only subtle
hints about her condition. Any one who saw her would assume she was sighted.
She even made an effort to ‘look’ at him and managed to come close to looking
him in the eye but there was no focus in her gaze.

“I must have you really confused. You’re so quiet I can hear your heart beat.”
She commented. Her voice was soft as if she enjoyed the quiet but not the
silence.

“Just thinking…How’d they ever suspect you of murder?” He asked genuinely
curious.

“I turned myself in. At first I was offered a deal, if I went without a fight
and gave up my bosses for the bastards they were they’d go easy on me. Send me
to juvy instead of the slam. You see I knew what I was doing was wrong and
wanted out but the cops turned out to be worse then my bosses. I was sent to
double max prison after every one of my assassinations and a few murders that
weren’t mine were pinned on my head.” She said with a soft voice filled with
bitterness.

“Double max on your first go? How old were you?” He asked with furrowed brows.

“Fifteen and very naïve. A year later they bumped me up to triple max where I
escaped.” She answered her voice returning to evenness.

“Fifteen…impressive.” He commented. She shrugged and took another drink.
Riddick looked at her and really saw her for the first time. Her raven hair
was in a bunch of braids that spilled just past her shoulders. Her skin was
pale and scarred. The bruises were fading and the swelling was gone. She had a
vertical scar that sliced above and below her right eye. She was thin and
curvy and probably only five feet tall and some change.

“I’d bet good reds that you’re staring at me.” She said with a soft chuckle.
It pulled Riddick out of his thoughts.

“Does it matter?” He asked.

“Guess not, just interesting. Why are you staring at me?” She asked curiously.

“Because you’re the prettiest thing in the room to stare at. Does it bother
you?” Riddick wondered briefly why he actually cared.

“No. Not really. I just wish I could return the favor. There’s only so much
detail I can pick up with my senses.” She said thoughtfully.

“Where do you plan on going when we land?” Riddick asked. Here they were again
making conversation, it was odd. She just shrugged.

“I’m an assassin by trade so I’ll just wait for a job from my connections.
Find a hotel until then.” She answered.

“You still do that?” Riddick furrowed his brow a little.

“Not much else I can do. Who would hire me and for what? You shouldn’t sound
so surprised, like I’m supposed to be innocent after so much killing. Besides,
I only take on marks that need killing.” She explained. Her tone was that of a
person who felt trapped by their past. He could relate.

After that conversation they didn’t speak a lot. They parted without saying
goodbye but something told Riddick he’d not seen the last of her, Talia the
blind assassin.

He claimed the ship as his and got some one started on the few repairs it
needed. His next stop was a bar.

Talia took a shower before connecting with Dibach, her greedy connection to
the seedy underbelly of crime and the lords there of. She was wearing a cotton
robe provided by the cheap hotel while her clothes were being washed.

“Talia, good to see you’re well.” He said jovially.

“Dibach you sent me on a bad run. I don’t appreciate having mercs waiting for
me when I get to a mark.” She said evenly but the threat was clear in her
voice.

“Taly, come now you know I can’t predict the future. How was I to know the
mark would beef up security?” He asked innocently.

“Because it’s your job to find these things out. We’ll have a nice long chat
after you get my ship out of the graveyard. I’m on Tursiot VIII in the Star
Motel.” Her voice was sharp as steel at this point.

“How the hell did you get there?” He asked. Tursiot 8 was a long way from her
mark.

“With no help from you making it none of your business. Just send me my ship.”
She ordered and shut down the connection before he could respond. Talia sat
back and finished brushing her wet hair which out of braids went half way down
her back. Her clothes were delivered and she set them aside. After checking
that her door was locked and that her blades were handy she finally curled up
in the soft bed and fell asleep with nothing on. It was no surprise that sleep
came easily.

As Riddick sat drinking in the bar three guys in black jump suits came in.
They would be human looking if they weren’t orange. Though male each one had
white hair down to their waists and even in a shit hole odd ball place like
this they looked out of place. Even so only Riddick seemed to pay much
attention to them.

They went to the bar and spoke to the bartender in hushed tones but Riddick
picked up every word. He didn’t like what he heard. They were flashing a photo
that Riddick would have recognized if he were half blind.

“She’s five feet five inches with lots of braids in her black hair. Black eyes
and dark clothing. Have you seen her?” One of the aliens asked. The bartender
seemed unmissed.

“Nope. Aint seen a woman like that ever. Buy something or get out.” He
answered gruffly.

Riddick quickly did some analyzing. These weren’t mercs…too stiff but they
weren’t cops either. Their weapons weren’t standard issue and they would have
flashed a badge by now. He wondered if they worked for Talia’s original
bosses, she never did describe them or tell Riddick who or what they were but
then again he didn’t expect much of a description from a blind woman.
Regardless of who they were they were after Talia and Riddick decided that
they wouldn’t get her.

He stalked out after them when they finally left and came up behind them. He
made a point to make plenty of noise like a normal person might so that when
he got close they stopped and turned a suspicious eye on him.

“You guys looking for a braud with lots of braids? Who can kick ass in a
fight?” He asked friendly enough.

“Yes, do you know where we can find her?” They were having a hard time
concealing their excitement. Riddick grinned.

“Yeah, I’ll take you to her for a price.” He answered. The three galnons, this
particular species, conferred in whispers and the only one who had spoken out
loud so far looked up.

“We’ll give you fifty credits if you take us to her.” He announced sounding
all superior as if Riddick should be honored to take the gig.

“Make it seventy-five and you got a deal.” He said with a nice friendly grin.
He was trying to keep his voice light but was getting more pissed off the
longer he stood there. The three conferred and nodded.

“Lead the way.” The apparent leader said. So that’s just what he did, right
into a dark alley where he sliced their throats neatly and pocketed the creds
they had on them.

Of course Talia hadn’t told him where she was staying but there were only
three hotels in the town and it wasn’t long before he picked up her trail. He
was impressed at how direct her route was to the Start Hotel as if she didn’t
care who was following her. He didn’t bother with the guy at the reception
desk looking half asleep and instead slipped upstairs.

He knocked on the door but there was no answer. Cursing he broke in with brute
force and looked around. There was no sign of struggle which was good because
he knew there would be blood shed before Talia was taken against her will.

He found her sound asleep in bed. He was a little stunned to find her naked
with the sheets crumpled at her feet. He saw the glint of a dagger sticking
out from under her pillow and grinned. His gut told him that they didn’t have
a lot of time so he shook her awake. She had the blade at his throat in half a
heartbeat.

“Talia, it’s me, Riddick. Calm down.” He soothed. She tilted her head and
eased the blade away.

“You got a death wish? I could have killed you.” She growled. Riddick didn’t
doubt it.

“Had to come and you didn’t answer when I knocked.” He answered.

“What do you want?” She asked as she stood and slipped on the robe.

“The bosses you turned in, did they ever work with galnons?” He asked and
watched as she tensed. She threw on her clothes quickly.

“My bosses were galnons. Are they here…wait…” She sniffed and came closer
sniffing him.

“You’ve got galnon blood on your hands…tell me you didn’t kill them.” She
groaned already knowing the answer.

“What did you want me to do? Lead them to you?” He asked with a growl.

“We have to move quickly. When you kill one group of these galnons they send
twice that number until the job is done. How many did you kill?” She asked and
sat at the old computer counsel.

“Three…they were looking for you pretty insistently.” He answered as he
watched her. She was typing furiously and suddenly a pock faced middle aged
man appeared on the screen. He blond hair was receding into an extreme widow’s
peak and his nose was crooked as if it had been broken. He grinned falsely
when he saw Talia who waited for him to greet her obviously unable to see him.

“Taly, my lovely, two call in one night? Are you finally falling for me?” He
asked smugly. Riddick instantly hated the guy.

“No. And stop calling me Taly. Where’s my ship?” She demanded as anger slipped
into her cool voice. Riddick wondered what use she had for a ship when she
couldn’t fly and when he still had his newly acquired one.

“On its way. Took five thousand creds to get it back from the graveyard. Will
you be transferring those credits now or later?” He asked with that same fake
smile.

“It’s your fault I was caught. You’re lucky that paying for my ship is the
only thing I’m going to do to you. I’ve got glanons on my trail so hold onto
my baby ‘till I call you and she better be in perfect shape when I do.” She
said and closed the connection just as Dibach opened his mouth to reply.

“Lets go.” Talia said standing and moving toward Riddick. He grabbed her
outstretched hand. Without hesitating he quickly led her to his ship where the
repairs ere just being finished. He paid the guy in stolen creds and he and
Talia boarded. Once again she sat in the copilot’s seat and Riddick took off.
They were out in space a whole hour before Riddick broke the silence.

“How the hell did they find you? Who the hell was that guy you were talking to
and what do you need a ship for?” The questions were said a little harsher
then he meant to but her answers were just as even as ever.

“They are very persistent and have spies all over the place. The guy I was
talking to was Dibach, he keeps me supplied with what I need including jobs. I
need a ship for the same reason you do, to fly.” She was cool composed despite
the distinct feeling Riddick got that they were in deep shit.

“Ok the first two I buy but the ship? You got some one else to fly you
around?” He asked skeptically. Talia didn’t strike him as the dependant type.

“No, I fly. I altered the ship to include a neural uplink so that I can…see
what the ships censors see. I also included a personal, custom A. I. to lend a
hand in case of trouble.” She explained. Riddick had only heard of neural link
technology.

“You’re joking right? That stuff hasn’t even been tested yet. How’d you get a
hold of it?” He asked.

“I am very good at what I do.” Was her only answer so Riddick dropped the
subject. He was eager to watch her in action. He watched as she sat back and
sighed.

“So what will these dickheads do if they catch you?” He asked after a while.
He had scented real agitation at the mention of her former employers and he
wanted to know why.

“First…they’ll punish me for everything I did. They’ll be very careful not to
kill me but make me wish I were dead. Then they will try their best to get me
to rejoin. They wont give up until I give in. If it takes years they’ll do
it.” She was so calm in the face of certain doom that Riddick had to admire
her.

“Any chance of escape?” He asked. She shook her head.

“I was selfish to drag you into this. As soon as we stop for a while I’ll
collect my ship and you can be on your way.” She said it without much
enthusiasm. Her left hand was trembling ever so slightly but Riddick saw. He
also noted the distinct though slight scent of fear. He grabbed her hand and
she turned toward him surprised.

“I’m with you now. We’ll get away.” He assured her. She squeezed his hand and
her stern visad(sp) dropped for just a moment. What he saw underneath was a
girl who was alone and afraid. She was stronger then any one he knew and at
this moment she was very attractive. He reached up and touched her face. She
leaned into his hand and he moved in capturing her lips in a passionate kiss.
She lost herself in the feeling of his lips. Her eyes closed reflexively as he
pulled her into his arms. His hands traveled down to her hips then up the
inside of her shirt grasping her breasts roughly. She gasped breaking the kiss
backing away.

“Riddick I…I’ve never…” She stammered shaking slightly as new feelings and
hormones rushed through her body. The animal in Riddick was raging against his
barriers. He rushed forward and pinned her against the wall.

The scent of her fear clogged his nose and he stopped himself from pressing
forward. He tore off his goggles and looked hard her with a stare that made
most grown men piss themselves with fear but it did nothing to further
intimidate Talia.

“Talia…” He whispered her name with a voice thick with need.

“Do you really want this? Why me?” She asked. Her voice was breathless
uncertain. He kissed her hard.

“You helped me escape from Rex. You’re strong and powerful and I want you. All
of you.” He growled out his answer his voice full of desire not mauls.

Heat flooded through Talia and she pressed into him. He pressed back biting
her neck. She groaned. He pulled off her shirt and tossed it aside. He took a
moment to look at her scarred chest before grabbing both breasts and squeezing
them.

“Richard…” She whispered and pulled at his shirt. Her need was growing almost
as fast as his. He yanked off his shirt and picked her up by the waist. Her
legs wrapped around him tightly so that she pressed down on his erecting. He
took her into the one bed and laid her down pulling off her pants. He was
thrilled to see she wore no underwear.

She grinned up in his general direction spreading her legs slowly. She seemed
unsure even if the scent of her desire filled his nose. With a feral grin he
pulled off his pants and crawled onto the bed with muscles rippling. He was
right over her when something stopped him fro plunging in. He reached down and
started rubbing her wet clit. She arched her back groaning and gripping the
sheets.

“Oh…Richard…” Her voice was dripping with lust and it served to further spark
his own. His fingers moved further down and he stopped at was he felt.

“You’re a virgin?” He asked a little surprised.

“Yeah…is that…a problem?” She panted. He wondered briefly how such a pretty
girl had made it so long. Then he looked at her suddenly aware that he didn’t
want to hurt her but knowing that to stop might hurt worse. He pressed in
close to her.

“It’s going to hurt but not for long. I promise.” He whispered. The last time
he had had a virgin he hadn’t bothered warning her and wondered why he cared
now.

“I trust you Richard. I want you!” She wrapped her arms around him and pulled
him closer. He pressed against her opening and pushed in as gently as
possible. Pain shot through Talia and for a moment all of her senses shut down
as if overloaded. Everything roared back to life when Riddick hissed her
deeply and slowly began pushing in deeper. It tore at him how much pain he saw
in her face.

“Talia…are you ok?” He asked as soon as he was buried to the hilt in her. He
stopped there though his body demanded action.

“It’s ok…” She said softly and touched his face gently. She ran her fingers
over his brow and nose and they stopped at his lips. He bit her finger
playfully then kissed her as he slowly began to thrust. She pushed against him
and he began to move faster. Before long she was clawing at his back and they
were calling each other’s name.

Riddick had never felt some one he fit into better. After the initial
tightness he found himself fitting perfectly inside of her. She clung to him
like a drowning person. When he came it was like an explosion followed shortly
by her own orgasm. Spent he laid down beside her holding her sleepily. The two
went to sleep without a word.

“Talia! Talia!” Riddick sat bolt upright in a cold sweat panting. Talia was
instantly awake and sitting up a look of concern etched on her face. She laid
her head on his shoulder and he relaxed. Grumbling he got up and got dressed.
With a sigh so did Talia.

The nightmare of having this girl torn away from him had left Riddick shaken
and unsure. Why did he care for her so much? It didn’t make a lot of sense.
Riddick sat in the pilot’s chair trying hard not to think about the new
feelings growing for the girl.

“Richard…what’s wrong?” She asked sitting beside him.

“Nothing.” He grumbled. He glanced at her and noted with a pang the look of
momentary pain on her face. It was gone in an instant and back was the cool
mask of indifference.

“Don’t call me Richard…around any one else.” He said trying to keep the edge
out of his voice. Talia grinned.

“I can see where that would be a problem…Richard.” The way she said his name
shot electricity to his groin. She came over and stood behind him draping her
arms down his chest. She rubbed her face against his softly.

“Richard…” She whispered huskily. The urge was almost unbearable. He whipped
around and pulled her close with strong arms.

“So you’re not mad at me.” She observed with a satisfied grin.

“Why would I be?” He asked with the slightest hint of concern creeping into
his voice.

“You pulled away from me so abruptly…I though I did something wrong…” She
answered.

“I had a nightmare that reminded me how easily I tend to loose people I care
about.” He explained. In the nightmare Talia had been torn away from him by
mercs. They had taken his woman and he had been helpless. He held her a little
tighter.

“I’m not going anywhere Riddick. I’m a survivor. I promise.” She told him.

“Good. Now, where to? How do we get these assholes off your trail for good?”
He asked.

“Well we start by collecting my ship. This slag heap isn’t nearly fast enough.
Then…I don’t know. The last time they came after me like this they got me,
took me a year to get out again. I wont go back but…” She trailed off and bit
her lower lip thinking of the next move.

“We take ‘em down. It sounds like they wont stop ‘till they get you so I say
we get them first.” He said sitting back down and punching in coordinates. The
ship took off in a new direction and Talia sat down beside him.

“That could work…if we take out the leader the rest will dissolve. Finding him
is the problem.…Where are we going?” Talia asked having felt the ship moving.

“I have some one who might be able to help us on Jalok VI. Have your ship delivered there.” Riddick instructed. He didn’t even have to say where on the planet because it only had one docking bay. Talia looked skeptical but dialed Dibach anyway.

“Dibach, you still got my ship?” She asked having guessed when he appeared on the screen.

“Yes, she’s safe and sound.” He answered.

“Good. Send her to Jalok VI.” She ordered.

“Jalok VI…why the hell are you going to that shithole?” He asked charming as ever.

“I’ll be there in…two days.” She informed him ignoring his question.

“It will be there.” He said with a sigh and she shut off the connection. She sat back and rubbed her head.

“Headache?” Riddick asked and she nodded. He got up and fixed her some food.

“Here. You need to eat.” He said and put it in her hands. Smiling Talia wolfed it down. Riddick sat and watched her. She was his and he loved it.

“Thanks. Have you eaten?” She asked as she put away the plate.

“Not really.” She came over and rubbed his shoulders. He closed his eyes and leaned back purring softly. Talia grinned and rubbed his smooth head next finishing off by kissing it.

Over the next two days the pair got closer and feeling of caring began to expand to something more. It wasn’t long before they were working so well together that half the time Riddick forgot Talia was blind.

When they arrived Riddick took Talia to her ship and he marveled at its beauty outside and in as Talia reacquainted herself with it. With a whimper of protest she let Riddick drag her away so that they could speak to his contact.

An hour later they found themselves at a rundown shack. Inside was dimly lit and filthy. Riddick led her into the back room where a fat man was busily working at a computer. He was bald except for a ring of hair ending in a short ponytail. His hair was dirty greasy blond and his clothing was filthy.

“Kaine, you got the info?” Riddick asked. The man jumped and both Riddick and Talia smelled the fear dripping off of him. Something was wrong.

“I uh…yeah…but it won’t do you any good.” Kaine said. He was visibly trembling and Talia tensed. She couldn’t see him tremble but she could hear it in his voice. Then there was movement, the sound of heavy boots.

“Kaine! What the hell did you do?” Riddick demanded. He hauled the guy up by his shirt and slammed him back into his own computer. Sparks erupted from the monitor as the men in camo moved in.

“Sorry Riddick, but their price was higher then yours.” Said Kaine. Too bad for him that Riddick snapped his neck before the camo guys moved in. They tranquilized the two several times before they went down but not before five camo guys died trying.

When Talia woke up it was to the scent of burnt flesh and the feel of searing pain. A red hot piece of metal had been pressed against the flesh of her inner thigh. The scream tore from her throat before she could stop it.

“Good morning agent Talon. Glad to see you awake.” Said a galnon man in a white robe. Talia couldn’t see what he was wearing but knew from past experience. As soon as the poker was removed Talia gasped for air and managed to flip him off before the poker was applied to her other thigh. She held back the scream for as long as she could before letting go. Once again the pain was drawn away.

“I…am not…agent Talon…any more.” She gasped out. The galnon wielding the poker was dressed only in a black butcher’s apron and gloves as the torture specialists always were. He responded to a cue and began to slowly drag the hot tip down her leg and back up again. Talia felt like she was going to die from the pain.

“You are agent Talon and have been very bad. For the next week you will be punished. After that we will begin reeducating you.” He told her and cued the guy with the poker. He pushed it into her navel. She was tied so securely to the torture frame that all she could do was scream.

“Gavon, keep going until I say stop.” The galnon in the white coat instructed. Gavon grunted ascension and began touching the tip to her flesh. She was naked and completely exposed to him. There were only three areas he didn’t touch: her face, her breasts, and her pubes.

“Stop.” Said the white coat guy. Immediately Gavon obeyed. Talia coughed up a small trickle of blood from screaming so much. It had been nearly an hour.

“Continue with the next degree.” Said Mr. white coat. With a lewd grin Gavon reheated the tip for the umpteenth time and applied it directly to Talia’s left nipple. The scream was inevitable. Next came the right nipple and a general poking of both breasts. This went on for at least half an hour before stop was called. Try as she may Talia could not force herself to pass out.

“Third degree Gavon. And take it slow.” Mr. white coat said and with another grunt Gavon reached down to between Talia’s thighs. With a callous hand he spread her labia and with the other slowly pushed the tip of the poker in. Earth shattering pain ripped its way through her without end. Gavon pulled it out just as slowly and then reinserted it until it bumped painfully against her cervix. At last he removed it but the blinding pain remained. Her sobbing screams filled the room. Gavon gave her little rest before removing his apron. All the screaming had made him horny as hell and had given him a raging hard on.

“Now Gavon here is going to impale you again. He just loves it when you scream.” Mr. white coat said silkily.

Gavon climbed onto the frame and pressed the thick head of his twelve inch cock at the scorched entrance of Talia’s abused vagina. She screamed a loud no as he shoved in. He was so long that he hit her cervix and did so each time he thrust in. All Talia knew was pain and Mr. white coat’s voice.

“You see why he burned you first? He likes it tight and the burning shrinks you. I may have a go after he is done or maybe I’ll just use your other hole.” He chuckled softly.

Then Talia though she was hearing things as a feral roar tore from somebody else’s throat. She heard the snapping of leather restraints. Then there was the sound of gruesome deaths. Gavon was ripped off of her and she heard his scream of agony turn into the gurgle of death as he choked on his own blood. Next came Mr. white coat who had been shouting for order and for guards. None came and his death was, by the sound of it, as painful as Gavon’s.

“Riddick…” Talia whispered. More then ever she wished she could see, wished she could see her mate standing there covered in her enemy’s blood. She had known him by the sound of his voice as he roared and by the sound of the death strikes. She could now feel his life-force as before she could only feel pain and she could smell his musky scent mingled with blood.

He quickly released her from her bonds and pulled her close kissing her roughly. She kissed back and her pain seemed to melt away. She groaned as they parted so that they could breathe.

“Talia…I’m so sorry…” He said a little breathlessly. She shook her head.

“Not your fault my luv, and you saved me. Tell me…the last one you killed, the one to give all the orders? What does he look like?” She asked with cautious hope.

“Hmm…he has red skin and black hair with purple thorns poking out of it. He’s wearing white robes.” He described the galnon in disgust but Talia grinned broadly.

“We’re free! That was the leader!” She said gleefully. He hugged her even tighter and took her back to her ship as they were still on the same planet and in fact in the same city where they were captured. Once inside her ship the A.I. medico started working on healing her right away. She’d be as good as new in a few days. They took off toward the stars looking for a place to just be, away from mercs, bounty hunters, and cops. Maybe they would find a place…maybe not but they would be together.
