Sith Happens

Peace is a lie… there is only Passion.
This is what we have seen, this is fate.
Grief can lead to pleasures, pain must lead to hate…
And from this you must grow,
Grow strong and live.
Or die by the sword, if death is your reward…
I have only myself to give.

No one can end all pain… there are wounds no care can heal,
If you cannot use the pain to better yourself, you don’t deserve to feel…
And if you cannot feel, you should die,
Numbness is a weakness and passivity a lie.

Through passion, I gain Strength…
And the strength is how we grow,
Testing yourself against the most daunting odds. It is the only thrill I know.
Standing two against the thousands, with the Force and your blade…
And fear itself walks in your shadow, and you are never afraid.

Through strength, I gain power…
To shape myself in my hands,
Become the master of yourself, ah, what power that commands.
When the blood drips from your fingers,
And the fallen lie as far as you can see…
You will appreciate our lessons.
Through power, I gain Victory.

Through victory, my chains are Broken…
The lies are stripped away,
And you stand naked before your own eyes, are judged in a different way.
I would rather die than bend my head to faulted laws.
As the Jedi preach for peace I smile at their flaws.
…and when the sun is extinguished… my golden orbs are the last sight those fools see.
I will wrap myself in the Dark side of the Force…
And when I am worthy at last,
The Force shall free Me.
