Disclaimer:
I do not own The Godfather series, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Godfather: New Blood
Author note: I’ve only seen the first Godfather. Also, I’ve only seen it once. So if I get names mixed up, I’m sorry. Tell me, I’ll change it. This doesn’t follow the linear of the movie, but it’s not so far off the beaten path that you’ll end up confused.
Also, I have no beta but I have written this up on word, so technically it shouldflag up and major grammar/spelling issues. Please tell me if it's absolutely horrific and i'll change it.
I have about 4/5 chapters written in total AT THE MOMENT, as you will see they are written as Chapter xx:Part xxx otherwise, i'd just ramble on and on and on like i am doing now.
Please review and let me know if you guys like it, and i will post more! Promise.

Chapter One: Part One – For every Action…
“I am terribly sorry for the loss that you have suffered.” Don Vito Corleone placed a hand on Vincent Cillitri’s shoulder, giving it a little squeeze. Vincent looked down at his shoes. “I too, know, what it is like to loose a son…Nothing can fill the void that they leave in your heart.” Vito removed his hand from the shoulder of the grey haired man, and put it against his chest.
“Thank you, Don Corleone.”
“Tommy, get my friend a drink.” Vito ordered. “Vincent, please accept my apologies, along with the gratitude of the services your son gave to the family. If I can be of service to you, you know it would be my pleasure to do so.”
“Godfather, you are most kind.” Vincent kissed Vito’s hand. “God bless you.” Vincent took the drink Tommy offered, and nodded in thanks.
The small funeral parlour was full of people mourning their lost ones. A set up by the Barzini’s ended with over fifteen men dying in bloodshed. Vincent Cillitri’s son being one of them. Vito had organized a funeral wake for the fifteen men, mainly because Vincent’s mother had been friends with Vito’s own. And because family was everything to Vito, he wanted to show Luca Cillitri a good send off into the afterlife.
“Valerie, I have not forgotten you.” Vito continued, talking to Vincent’s only daughter and now only child Valerie Cillitri, taking her small hands in his. “She grows with more beauty every day does she not, Tommy?” The Don asked his consiglieri.
“Indeed she does Vito.” Tommy agreed with a polite smile.
“Indeed she does.” Antonio said quietly to himself. He had moved silently to stand on Tommy’s left hand side. Tommy turned his head to look at him, and Antonio raised an eyebrow slightly while taking a sip of his drink. Tommy smiled slightly and shook his head, his attention turning back to the Don.
“Thank you, Godfather.” Valerie said in a small voice. Vito smiled, remembering his own daughter and kissed her on the forehead.
“Antonio.” Vito said turning around and noticing his son. “Antonio, come here, there is someone you must meet.” He waved him closer with his hand.
“Vincent, this is my son Antonio Corleone.” Vito paused and kissed him on the cheek. “Antonio, this is Vincent Cillitri, you remember him from your childhood.”
“Of course, it’s good to see you again Vincent.” Antonio offered his hand.
“It is good to see you too, Sir.” Vincent shook Antonio’s hand. He was young, possibly no older than twenty one. His handshake was firm, and he was already as tall his father. He had a slight build but with muscular shoulders, much like his older, now deceased brother Sonny. He had dark hair, and dark eyes, but they sparkled with the slight mischief, that of a young boy. Vincent saw in Antonio what he saw in Don Vito all those years ago.
“Antonio is back from college,…” Valerie zoned out to what the Don was saying, and walked away quietly and respectfully, taking another glass of wine from a nearby table. She loved the Don and the family, after all they offered her family protection and a good living, but they also were the indirect cause of her brother’s death. Although, she had no doubt that revenge for all of the fallen fifteen men would be underway within a short period of time.
After all for every action, there’s a reaction.
And a Corleone reaction it is a large one at that.
