Prologue
As stated, I do not own Dracula, but I do own Harlequine.
Whole summary: Dracula has survived, Mary accidentally let his soul go. She has hired an undead assassin to face him. What happens if she finds the vampire she was petitioned to kill, unable to kill, and worthy to live?

Mary Van Helsing groaned. "Simon?! What happened to Judas' ashes? I set them on the table, and now the urn is gone." The brunette stormed into her fiance's study, her blue eyes narrowed. "..I didn't touch them, Mary, if that is what you are asking. Are you sure you didn't misplace them?" Brown eyes met blue as he registered what they said. "What do you MEAN that they are gone?" He took a large intake of breath and sighed. "Not good, this isn't good."
Mary let out an aggravated sigh, a pale hand going to her forehead and then going through her hair. "I don't like that tone, Simon. No. No. His soul can not be freed!" Simon looked at her, rolling his eyes. "I KNOW that." Mary continued, wringing her hands. "He'll take a body form.." Simon looked at her, took in a deep breath, then released it. "I know that, too." Mary paused and looked at him. "Seems like I'll have to send her. The flesh of my flesh, and the soul of my soul."
Simon's eyes moved to look up at her, "You can't possibly mean-" Mary gave a smug look. "She's the only one who can destroy him, without getting hurt." She smiled, "Harlequine." She finished, walking to the phone and picking up the receiver and dialing a number.
