The Vampire Huntress

Chapter 1: First Run in with Van Helsing

Jessica's pale blue eyes scanned the area for any vampires and werewolves. Her long blonde hair blew around her as the wind began to pick up speed. She jumped down from the tree seeing nothing in the area. She began to walk slowly towards the next village that wasn't none too far away from where she was at. She pulled her coat close to her body as she walked. Her leather boots making crunching noises as she walked over the leaves that were laying on the ground. She picked up her hat that was laying on the ground and put it back on her head.

She constantly travelled around trying to kill off things such as Vampires. Her latest travels was to lead her to Dracula who had bitten her mother and her father turning them both into vampires. She knew what she had to do to her parents she just didn't want to bring herself to the reality of it just yet. She made it into the next town. She saw that the people stopped and stared at her as she walked. They must've thought that she was a danger to them. She stopped for a minute.

"Who are you?" Hissed a male that stood next to the church.

Her pale blue eyes went to his form. "Jessica." She didn't dare tell them her last name because of the fact being she was a vampire slayer as well as a protector of the peace.

"You should return home." Said another male's voice.

She turned around and faced the other man. She knew instantly who he was. "Well... Van Helsing your reputation seems to proceed you." She wasn't none to timid around Van Helsing. She just knew that this man was going to ruin her journey for her.

He grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her to a place where no one could hear them talking. He slammed her up against the building.

She yelped in pain.

"Who are you? Who sent you?!"

"No one sent me. I came here on my own. Hunting for Dracula."

"You are hunting for Dracula?"

Jessica's blue eyes looked up into his brown eyes. "Yes," She said calmly. "I have a score to settle with him."

"Well Miss. You aren't the only one."

"You are hunting for him too?"

"Yes. I can assure you that my reasons are much different then yours."

"Doubt it." Jessica said looking away from him. "I have to find him."

"Why would you want to find Dracula any way? He would want you to be his bride. I know it."

She looked up at him. "He has both of my parents." She said hissing at him. "I have to find him in order to find my parents."

"Find and kill your parents." Van Helsing stated.

Jessica looked down and slowly nodded her head. "Yes."

"Dracula is dead."

"What? You could've told me that eariler. That means I have come here in vain."

"No you didn't. You're parents are... still vampires."

She looked at him. "Are you sure about that Van Helsing?"

Van Helsing nodded his head. "Yes. I am quite sure about that."

She bit her lip. "Would you lead me to Dracula's castle?"

"Are you sure you want me to lead you there?"

Jessica looked up at him and he could tell in her eyes that she wanted to do this. "I am sure of this Helsing." She said softly not letting him see the fear that she was feeling.

"Alright I will take you there." He said grabbing her by the hand and dragging her to Anna's old home where he had ended up staying at for the past few months since he killed Dracula.
