I want to show you something...
It was not in the habit of Lucifer to wander the wastelands that was his domain. He had mountains of his own pleasures to attend to, and he explored each with great zeal and a particular horrifying enjoyment that left even the most hardened of demons shudder.
Today however, was different. He was loathe to admit it, and even more reluctant to let his confounding demeanor show it, he was growing bored with this place, the palace of carnal pleasures, and the dungeon of every devilish whim...grew boring to him. He cast his gaze around him, there were men women, and even the misguided souls of a young teens who had thought it easier to slice a wrist then to work out their anguish.
They reached to him and cryed for relief. On any ordinary day, he would have reached down to help them, and pull his hand back mockingly, laughing with great happiness as a fresh throng of demons seized an appendage and pulled shreds of fresh meat from their bodies. On any ordinary day, he would relish in their memory, on any ordinary day Lucifer would not have heard the painful cry's that echoed in his mind and created a painful resonance in his chest.
As he turned, he caught sight of a form sitting along the wall of the pit. They were looking down obviously fascinated by the spectacle in front of them. But something was wrong...this presence was foreign and familiar all at once, and he knew they did not belong in his domain.
He strode over, but was stopped firmly in his tracks when the trespasser cast their eyes on him. Eyes as golden as the hair on her head, completely in contrast to the dark skin that covered her body. She stared at him only for a second, but in that second he could see volumes. Those eyes had seen horrors that may yet rival his own, in this case when it came to suffering she had volumes to teach him...but in a flash she was gone, her thin for dematerialized in front of him, and she was gone.
On any ordinary day...no such intrusion would go unpunished...on any ordinary...Lucifer felt no heart beat....
